Worst place ever, run by a bunch of clowns that think they know what is best for their patients and dont listen just doing their own thing, scribble on paper and off you go. Change out the trainees and bring the professionals that know how to deal with patients.

I am absolutely shocked, R1400.00 paid upfront on the 26th December, and the doctor that examined my wife didnt have a clue, prescribed the incorrect medication and when we returned today the 28th December we were told to pay another R1400, absolutely shocking, I will never go back there, they have no ideaWent to another doctor today and in 6 hours my wife is already feeling better

Yesterday the ER staff discharged a patient suffering a stroke with paracetamol and Trepaline. His blood pressure was 176 /117.A Private healthcare examination confirms a stroke. Too little too late unfortunately.

As a public hospital very good services. The paediatric department is one of the best (if not THE best in the province though and deserves a 5 star as far as public services is concerned)

I would like to place on record the excellent/compassionate assistance I had received from the people listed below on 17/12/2019 from 07h30EM Shabane (Nurse Manager)Sifiso Meweli (morgue)S Dhlamini ( Male surgical)Dr Pillay ( Male Surgical)Also a male nurse from Male Surgical I did not get his name that was on duty at the timeThese individuals have gone over and beyond their call of duty to assist us with the releasing of my dads ( Pritiraj Maharaj) body on 17/12/19They were extremely compassionate, sympathetic and assuring with my whole issue of having the body released. These people that helped us are the epitome and cornerstone of any successful organisation and I pray that they will be duly rewarded for their amazing attitude and passion for the service that they provide. If only the doctors and nurses shared the same amazing passion and attitude as the above listed, my Dad may still be with us today. A full documented complaint of gross neglect and mismanagement will be forwarded to regarding this issue. However, I suggest you commend the above listed together with their colleagues and hope that the can inspire others to be better

I phoned the hospital to find out if the number displayed on the web is the correct one in case of a snake bite emergency. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude. He replied to my question with This is a hospital, right?. I had a basic question and all I got from the other side of the line was someone who was asking sarcastic counter questions & treating me with the utmost disrespect.

Ive actually called twice at this Hospital for certain Enquiries and the man at the front-desk (Receptionist) was so rude, the first time, I thought he was just having a bad day, but when I called again the second time and he just dropped the call on me, I was certain that rudeness is just in his nature! for a Hospital I dont think its ethical that you guys have someone that rude taking calls.

I had a terrible experience with this hospital and actions has to be taken against it...my brother was involved in a car accident recently and admitted there. ...on the day I picked him up when he was discharged we went to the hospital pharmacy for medication. ...only yo find out that that medication had expired and made my brother even more sick. ....how can a big hospital like that can have such carelessness. ..what about the patients who cant read which means they also been given this medication. .....It disgusting. ...

I had taken my dad to this hospital and we sit and wait over two hours for a surgical doctor at SOPD. This is pathetic service when I queried was told that Fridays is a busy day. Its a busy day but no doctors to conduct their duties.
