My favorite fried chicken 🍗 in the world..... love it... will drive to the furthest destination for it. Crispy skin perfectly fried, tasty to the max....consistency at every store.... and the soul fire sauce cannot get better. Wish there were more stores!!!

Best chicken ever, its my favorite. The Greatest of all time , its funny that everytime when I go out to buy food I tell myself Im gonna try something new but end up buying this soul satisfying food. Ill eat it till I die .

I havent had Chicken Licken in ages and decided to purchase a 3 piece today. Last time i had it by a different branch it was absolutely delicious.But today i have visited Cape Town branch and on a scale of 1-10, i give it a 1. The batter was extremely salty and the flavor wasnt even close to what it normally tastes like. a R50 waisted.Thought id leave a comment so it can be addressed.

The big debate... KFC vs Chicken Licken... Whilst there arent many CL branches in Cape Town and surrounds I love the cheeky location of the CL in Adderley St CTN (RIGHT NEXT TO KFC 🤣😂). Price - CL definitely is more value for money. They offer a good variety. Those little sliders taste amazing (theres a hash brown on it!!). The chicken tastes good. I wish there were more branches in the suburbs... The service wasnt that great however it was one person serving the meal drivers and walk in customers 🙄

Their wings are great. The chicken pieces (spicy) is actually surprisingly pleasant. And at the price point its worth it.

There was a queue when I got there and I almost abandoned my quest to get hot wings but the service was fast and efficient I didnt wait for long. The food was hot and hot and delicious just how I like it. Well done to everyone who made this a pleasant experience for me.

The service here is really quick. Takes about 10 minutes to get service. The staff a quite cheery and super friendly.The place is super clean and I would have preferred if there were more of these in town rather than them being few and far between in the Western Cape.

Ordered from uber eats. Delivery time kept changing. Delivery guy 1st made another delivery before delivering our food even though adderly street is 5mins drive to us. Food was not properly sealed like other resturants do. It came in a plastic bag which was just knotted at the top. Food was cold soggy and gave my partner and myself a tummy bug... dont think theyre compliant to covid regulations... feeling sick to my stomach, litterally.

Chicken Licken is always good!!! I fux with it any day, the only let down is paying for chilli sachets and finding none in your delivery packet.

Paid these guys a visit on a Sunday afternoon and for some odd reason customers werent allowed to use the seating space up stairs. This meant that the few tables (4) downs stairs filled up quickly and that you have to wait for someone else to finish their meal before you can sit and enjoy yours. It makes it rather uncomfortable to relax and let the taste of your food linger in your mouth while there are piercing eyes on you from the other customers who are also waiting to sit and enjoy their meal. Simply put, this is an unnecessary inconvenience for clients and a very unhygienic one considering that the rest rooms are also in the restricted space upstairs - so you basically are not permitted to clean your hands before you can eat your meal! On the other hand, food was okay after I fought for my right to go wash my hands before touching my hot wings.

The chicken does not look like they fry it anymore , it looks like they just boil it and serve to their customers . I don’t know if maybe they changed management or what because since Jan to March I would eat it everyday and it was amazing but now it’s something else ..

Hey go for it. This fast food chicken only restaurant is a must go if you are hungry and have a craving for great flavoured wings. Theyre a little spicy but so tasty, your baby will give up its mothers breasts for these wings. Parking is... non-existent so phone in the order and have your wife run in to collect while youre idling outside... unless shes driving 🤐

Didnt finish my order on the 2nd piece I had to run to the toilet thrice until now, the service was good and one more thing the loos are always locked and the person who keeps the key is not always available.

DISGUSTED, will not buy from them again.So i order a meal from Chicken Licken in Adderly Street in town via Uber Eats, for Sunday lunch while at work.I chose Chicken Licken cause i havent had it in a while and the adverts always show how amazing the food looks. I was so excited. My food came with a hot burger, two wings, fries and cold drink. When the uber got here:There was no coke, the fries were cold and bitter, the wings were a no show and my burger that was supposed to be hot was plain and falling apart. Basically i paid for nothing.I have never been this disgusted and disappointed in a meal. I will NEVER buy from them AGAIN
