Love the location and interior of this place.we had some Tapas, Calamari werent flavorful (if youre into Grilled Calamari), Chicken Strips and Chicken Wings were delicious 👌🏾.Enjoyed the atmosphere and wine selection.Look forward to my next visit 🙂

Si is probably one of the greatest restaurants I have been to and continue to go to! The food is incredible but particularly the staff, they are amazing and really do make the place worth going to.In my top go tos for any occasion.

Got lost looking for the place. Its near the Virgin Active and the Slio in V&A. Great ambience and deco. More of a chill out and relax spot.I really enjoyed the pizzas here, they have an unusual pizza flavor which works well as the drinks are flowing.Ill definitely be back to try out more pizzas. Budget around R350 per person.

I was there briefly but, I can definitely say that the vibe was amazing (defintely contributed by the company I was with). Drinks were good and reasonably priced. What I had to eat, the vegetarian taco, was not exactly my favorite but t also could be due to my choice of meal. Tasted a little dry for me. But all-in-all the experience was good. I would recommend it as spot for both a place to groove, and on more chilled days to catch up with a friend.

Beautiful Vibey atmosphere and affordable alcohol and food. If you decide to go on a weekend, rather book a a spot to avoid waiting or disappointment. Late at night, the restaurant turns into a party vibe with amaPiano, Hip Hop and party songs playing. Definitely a youthful vibe in Waterfront. The service is a bit slow so anticipate waiting.

Nice setting and look. The food was good, there is a large variety of dishes in the menu. Service, food and drink-wise could have been a lot quicker though, as we were the only table and sometimes having to repeat our orders. Other than that we had a good time.

The aesthetics is beautiful and makes you feel comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxing. The menu is vegan and vegetarian friendly. The prices are a bit on the high side. I would like to return to this restaurant under better circumstances (without Covid-19). The service was very terrible. The waiters were too busy playing pool to notice when we needed service. Our waiter had to be asked to bring condiments to the table. We ordered some dessert but I could not finish my cheesecake because it had mould in it. When I brought this to one of the waiters attention all he said was okay. It may be because of the pandemic that there was such horrible service but I believe that it is under such circumstances that the service should be at its best.

I used to go to Si a lot when I used to work in Cape Town. They used to have really good vibes and flavourful filling food. Alas I went there again after 2 years and it was not a nice experience at all. Our table was not cleaned when we were seated. Our waiter took really long to serve us. Our food order was incomplete as they forgot our sides. We also ordered takeaways and they were poorly packaged.I just really had an unpleasant time there.

I was there for breakfast and it was disappointing. I ordered Smash with two poached eggs and what I got was one peeled avocado on baguette slice. Very plain and not even salts on the avocado...! The waiter never checked if I needed anything so I ended up going inside the restaurant to ask for my bill. Its location is convenient if you are in Silo district and it has a quite nice ambience. Nevertheless, I wouldnt give more than two stars for the presentation & quality of food and service.

I was a little disappointed in the service, they could ve told us what is not available on the menu from the start, so our desert wasnt available and that before we have to get it, so they offer us malva pudding instead, I also find the waiting period on my main meal was to long, my collegues had there food already and I was still waiting on my main meal which was fish and had to finish it so quick because I got my mains after 9pm, and direct after that I had to eat my desert, because of curfew, they were not well organize and they where not even busy we were only people there, I just feel the staff need to deliver more and keep there customers happy, I wont be going there again, 😔😌👎

Every time I go there I get THE best service. Amazing and affordable food, warm ambience with the artwork on the wall (absolute fav!) and the seating arrangement is good for dates, meetings, group gatherings etc. They have the building blocks to entertain the kids 😁. The staff is friendly and they have hand sanitizers. Definitely going back there.

This is a high 3-star rating. I cant fault the ambience, atmosphere, friendly and helpful customer service and breakfast menu options. The execution of the menu however left me and my family a little wanting: the eggs Benedict and veg bowl were delicious, the black mushroom quinoa bowl was good but could have been great if it was topped with a big black mushroom and the herb oil drizzled over - it was a bit on the dry side. The fresh juices were not balanced, either too sour or too acidic but again... Still good. Their freshly baked sourdough toast is to die for!! It could be that they were just having an off day. I will be going back to try out their dinner menu.

Si Si Si! Yes Yes Yes! This place is something else! I went there this week with my friends who work close by and said its a must. We were so hungry and just wanted a bit of everything, which was possible!! I took the lead 😊 and ordered from their Tapas menu. We had the following between the three of us: Zucchini Fries, a good amount of Marinated Olives, some Piquant pepper poppers with yoghurt relish, Halloumi Lettuce Wrap (absolute favourite), instead of the Crostini I ordered the Mushroom Flatbread and then also the Beef and Pecorino Meatballs...yummy. Almost forgot about the Sweet Potato Fries 😋 Every single item was super delicious. We enjoyed every bite and had some of their cocktails to pair with our meal 😂. I would suggest this place for anyone lunch or dinner to enjoy a great variety of food. Will definitely be back soon!

Food arrived cold and my steak was over cooked and salty!

By far the worst food I have ever had at a restaurant. Myself and a friend both ordered the rib eye steak and two others the pizza, the steak was obviously cooked in the pan which is okay if done correctly however this was not great at all! The steak had no char or browning and was grey in colour! I have no problem with paying for good quality food but this was expensive for the food we were served.

It was my first time at Si and i enjoyed the Pizza. Definately going back there.

Set in the Waterfront at the Clock Tower Precinct.This Mediterranean style restaurant serves incredible food - organic where possible,with produce sourced locally and at very reasonable prices. As an added bonus you can get coffee for just R18 from 8:00 untill 10:00, every day of the week.

I can say without a doubt that Si Cantina Sociale serves some of the best food in Cape Town. My father and I paid this restaurant a visit not to long ago and we were really impressed with the food.Besides the visit with my dad my girlfriend and I have often grabbed a late night coffee after gym and let me tell you... Their Cafe Mocca... WOW! ☕☕☕☕💪💪💪💪

Our drink of choice for the evening was one of my favorites the Haute Cabriere Chardonnay/Pinot Noir. It went really well with pizza we ordered the Californicator pizza avo feta and chicken.

After very disappointing experiences around the Silo, this was an oasis for us who only wanted to sit down and have a snack after a gallery visit. The waitress came immediately and her service was outstanding and entertaining! Ill be back! Also my kind of food..! Lekker

This is a wonderful spot for eating out and also for events, especially weddings. Not only is the kitchen amazingly experienced, but the food, ambience and waitering are exceptional. Definitely worth a visit in the evening after a day at the nearby art gallery.

Recently opened restaurant with a warm and modern style. Menu provides a small mix of Tapas as well as classic dishes with some healthy / and vegetarian options inbetween.The food i tried was very tasty. Had the mussels (in a excellent sauce) and veggies on the side. Also tried a few Tapas which I can recommend.

Such a great vibe and wonderful food! We pulled in just in time for an awesome evening of Kahoot and we won a 2-night stay in Camps Bay! Thamie was very helpful and even met us halfway when we couldn’t find the place. Great place!

This is the best find in the area! Staff are social and friendly while serving well cooked healthy and balanced dining options as well as wood fired pizza! Spent three days dining all meals here and saw families as well as locals came back over and over for the food and jovial, yet professional service environment. The Resturaunt and bar are nicely seperated while providing good ambiance with inside and outside seating. It is also a guaranteed better breakfast experience than the Raddison Red located next door!

Si has incredible food and fantastic service. The last three times Ive been there the food arrived sooner than we expected it and it was absolutely delicious. Their burgers are my favourite in Cape Town by far. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. Cant wait to go there again!

Great vibe in the Silo Zone of the V&A. Quieter area of the Waterfront if you are looking to get away from the hustle bustle and lots of tourists. Had delicious shared nachos served on a long plate, potatoes pieces and peppadew poppers. All very tasty! Cocktails were great too with interesting flavours.

Ruined our New Year’s Eve. Went there for dinner with my husband and 3 teenage daughters. Arrived at 8 as per our booking. Walked out at 11.30 having only had a very poor starter each. Service was beyond brutal, and they were charging 1000 rand a head. All the other tables were experiencing the same service. The waiting staff were all very pleasant but overwhelmed. It appeared many other restaurants in the area were similar. Ended up buying crisps and chocolate in a filling station. I would avoid the waterfront at all costs next New Year’s Eve.

Wonderful spot for our Valentines Day dinner yesterday.It was incredibly hot, so thankful that they had the outside area to dine.Fantastic waitress called Gay. Great service and vibe.Decor is fab.Nice touch the music last night.Our pizzas were really good.No space for dessert unfortunately...Worth the visit for sure. Also very Instagram worthy 😂💕💃

Great atmosphere and decor. Staff were friendly. Decent range of food and beverages on the menu. Good for medium sized groups (4-8)and a few tables for larger groups

What a brilliant evening! At first the decor impresses, and after that, the excellent service and very good food. Joseph looked after us as if we were his only clients. But I have to mention Mike...who entertained our little girl for probably 2 hours on end! Thanks so much to all the staff for their patience and friendliness. The tappas were really the biggest portions we’d ever eaten at a restaurant-and the ribs, chicken strips and nachos were firm favourites. I recommend Si Cantina Sociale strongly!!

We had a very nice happy hour here. Service was good and the food was nice as well. We had a great wait staff that looked over us. Highly recommend if you are going to be in the area. Nice spot to go before you go to the musuem or to catch up with a friend. It is not to crowded and you can hear each other. Happy hour deals are decent for two people.

Great pizza, but they have terrible wait staff. I have been a few times and each time their waiters have been unprofessional. Their waiters are nowhere to be seen, their waiters have had a fight right in front of me, their waiters are rude and aloof, they are not accommodating, and when you do find a waiter they invade your personal space. Going to a restaurant is not just about your food, its about the service you are giving. People are more than capable of cooking food at home. We are paying for the experience. I except more with the prices you are charging. Train your staff how to wait on tables properly. And if you cannot have waiters in a section at any given time then you need to hire at least 3 hosts for the size of your establishment, and those hosts need to know how to do their jobs too; hosting is not about seating people as many South Africans think, its about orchestrating the restaurant. And your drinks take way too long to get out; in that case you need to have runners, whos only job is to get drinks out (people get restless without a drink and are more likely to leave). And fighting in front of guests, what is that!? If you see a guest come up to you, stop your fight, get over your ego with that person, and assist your guest; your fight is not important as per the money you are loosing. And dont yell at the next waiter in front of the guest at their table! Be professional!

Positioned just on the outside of the Waterfront, makes it a perfect location to still feel the vibe of the busiest spot in Cape Town, but still secluded enough to have its own privacy and feel. I like their light food and was very happy with the service.

The food is good, not great. Id give it a 4,5 star. Service is also great, except for during peak or when there are events, food takes a little longer. Otherwise...love the atmosphere and venue.

Horrible pricey food. None of us could finish our food, thats how bad it was. Service was just as bad, staff appeared to be under the weather. Probably because they had had a huge party on new years eve. Im convinced their regular chef wasnt around because I cant imagine thats what they regularly serve. Very disappointing experience

Great atmosphere complimented by the decor and layout. Simple menu also with delicious options for non meat eaters. I love the coconut warm drink especially for the cool winter weather. Only con - have to walk outside restaurant to access bathrooms.

Ive heard and read great things about Si. I can only assume the service is better in the evening than during the day as the service then leaves much to be desired. Sort on stock and forgetful with orders. For the premium price Id rather go elsewhere. Will have to visit at night to see if theyre any better then.

We just stumbled into this place when we were looking for some lunch. I really enjoyed it. The food was good and the service was excellent.

Best place to chill and take breaks from work.

The green omelette is terrible- the spinach that’s blended for the egg is not properly washed. The whole green omelette is a bad idea- just make a regular one.The filling was bland and soggy. I ordered extra bacon and the preparation was really bad, burnt and dry.

Unassuming low key relaxing hangout ideal for Sunday brunch. Interesting menu with a variety of choices. Food lived up to menu. First coffee borderline off. Second cup did not disappoint.
