I love their veggie burgers and chips. Id recommend switching out the relish sauce for mustard sauce though. I really like their mustard sauce.

Clean restaurant and friendly service!Note: No public restrooms.We were told this is basically the Burger King of South Africa, which we didn’t really understand as there is a Burger King not far down the way from this location. Overall, food was decent, music was good (playing random music but including CHVRCHES!) and the staff was friendly.In short, we would go again.

Quick service. Also has self service booth which are simple to operate. The staff are very helpful. Lady at the counter came out to help us at the booth without us asking for assistance. Food was timeous. There are lots of seating area. They also have a basin where you can wash up after you done.

The food is indescribable coz its soo.. good, just the service was abit laggie, and slow, prolly coz its wasnt too busy, but hey... I ate got full that what matters the most. 😅

Ive never recieved such bad service in my life, no matter the business. For the lady to be mopping around me and forcing me to move closer to the person that is ahead of me, neglecting the fact that unlike her and the establishment, I do practice social dinstancing. Waiting in line for over 30mins cause theres only one person manning the till. Only to finally arrive at the counter for the manager to tell me there is only rib burgers left, as if that is all I eat in life. Im hacked complaining seems futile. Something needs to change or people should just stop going there.

It is a double story building. Its interior is modern rustic. Nice employees and friendly service. What is nice that it is best the VFS office. Very cozy seating inside AMD you can sit upstairs or bottom.

Steers food is not good anymore. Sadly disappointed. Strawberry milkshake is still tops though. But I didnt buy that

Service was amazing

Had a great time there. The restaurant is open until early hours of the morning making it great for a midnight meal if needed. Very friendly staff as well. A very rustic but neat interior and you have the option of sitting upstairs or downstairs. Would highly recommend!

Wednesday 14 October 2020I ordered a meal only to find out that 1L Coke has been expired on 07 October 2020, very disappointed. I sent slip & a picture of expiry date. Steers didnt respond

Great food and service. But on Wednesdays the staff go out of their way to get you to order a wacky Wednesday special. Its clearly because they stealing as nothing is put through the system and the burgers are requested orally

Ice cream were not fully set. So wasted my money as the ice-cream was oozing out under the dip all over our clothing and the car . What a mess! Not agn

Well positioned in town, can get busy during lunch hour (as expected) but the queues generally move quite quick.Milkshakes are excellent (rich, creamy and thick) and the burgers cooked quite well and tasty.Definitely worth a visit.

Not a bad steers outlet. Checked in late at the Southern Sun up the road due to a mix up with our booking.Came here for a late night snack. Food was quite good - no complaints.Service was good - friendly staff.Seems a bit dodgy so I dont recommend walking around this area alone.

Staff went the extra mile and where very freindly. good job girls.

There are no restrooms in this place, we had to rush eating and leave because of this. There were no trays for our food we had to eat straight from the table. There w was also a waitress here who kept singing loud behind the counter, and changing songs on the background. This was so unprofessional, but somehow I found it hilarious.

This steers never dissapoints, you can see the food is prepared passionately and customer service is good. Compared to other steers.

Huge venue with upper deck sitting thats never opened. Not like you would want to sit there as the music is always so super loud in there you can barely order let alone think. Also you have beggars and vagrants hanging around outside timing you for your spare change as you leave. You have to beg for extra seasoned salt like its gold or safron. Other than that the food is up to the usual Steers standard.

Bought some ribs, they were full of fat. Could hardly get any meat.

Whats up with Steers lately? This is the third branch we visited where the soft serve machine is broken.Plus they got the order wrong, so we went to kfc next door where we not only got soft serve, but also efficient service.

Ordered a chicken burger which came with the smallest piece of chicken I have ever received from them. The chicken piece was narrower than the cheese slice. Not the mention the burger was very dry.

Ive realised with most fast food restaurants in Cape Town, Steers included, that when they notice that youre not from around, the service is poor. They mess up your order, service attendants arent even apologetic.

Four stars despite the macon in my burger - which for those outside South Africa is halal bacon made from beef. Macon tastes synthetic and just plain awful, but thats my fault for choosing the Big King Macon burger. The rest of the meal was good. The beef patties tasted more like meat than either MacDonalds or even Burger King, and the fries are actually hand-cut chips very similar to the ones in British fish and chip shops (including the crispy scraps). Shakes are definitely a cut above competitors too, with a smooth. soft serve ice cream feel to them instead of the grains of icy particles you get with MacDonalds. Steers is more on par with Burger King in quality and price, not bad for a halal joint. Shame about the macon though.EDIT: Rating revised to 3 stars now, as I went back to try the Original King Steer that doesnt have any macon ... and that awful synthetic taste was still there. Turns out it is the barbecue sauce that features in all their beef burgers. Steers needs a new recipe for this as the sauce ruins the taste of the otherwise good quality ingredients. Replace both the macon and barbecue sauce with something better and this chain could rival Burger King.

No toilets anywhere in Steers. The staff send you down to KFC to use a toilet. What kind? However, the staff are readily available and friendly to inebriated debaucherous youth at 2 am, so they get an extra star I guess.
