Deserves more than 5 stars!Oh wow! We have not been able to visit the actual restaurant due to life being busy so we order via Mr D a few times now.We are super impressed. Honestly, there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the restaurant, apart from a general lackadaisical attitude. I have been there five times, usually early in a shift when it is not busy and have yet to see a manager not glued to a laptop in the corner or eating a staff meal. Never once have they checked in on our table. This attitude is sadly reflected in their wait staff - not bad, just disinterested. Not all front shop staff, the newer ones have not yet become as jaded. Food is good, no issues there. Maybe lockdown has made them think they are a takeaway and not a restaurant.

Great food as always . Not familiar as its our first time and didnt know where to enter except for a waitress shouting at me not to use the side entrance then I find the right entrance then get told to get out again and wait for another waiter to take details and our temperatures ,my apologies. Felt awkward so why not put signs up for first timers and dont assume everyone knows exactly where to enter and where to go when nobody is available to seat us. Atmosphere would be much better at night Id imagine lets have another visit sometime soon. PS tipping isnt compulsory so a simple thanks or nod would have been fine . So to sum up its an amazing franchise with outstanding food but have the atmosphere where everything is assumably ok for management.

#Deez was an excellent host! First time visiting this joint and I had a good time. I felt very taken care of, he checked in, made sure I was happy with everything. I’ll be coming back thanks to his service!

Really good food, really good service.I have been to this Rocomamas a few times and the service and food is what brings me back here. The restaurant isnt too crowded and always clean. They have very good covid monitoring in place,and they also place sanitisers at every table. service was great. Ambiance was lovely. love the seating booths. Will visit again

White wine ordered was sent to the table hot. 3 bottles in total. My one grand daughters egg was not sent with her food while my other grand daughters pasta was still frozen when it was put in front of her. After a further 45 minutes, and asking for her warmed food, was it only given to her. Will never visit here again due to a combination of bad service and badly prepared food.

Ordered through Mr D. The process was flawless and arrived quickly... however...the burgers we ordered were full of hard gristle, they were dripping in their house mayo to the point of not tasting anything but mayo. Fast food outlets like rocomamas should move away from the trend of serving shoestring fries for delivery, they do not travel well and are always cold after 15 minutes on the back of a scooter. The owner and or manager needs to be more diligent about quality and even order their products for delivery so they can see for themselves what works and what doesnt and update their offerings accordingly.

Spent the day working from RocoMamas Okovango Crossing. My waitor was Dr Strange, they practice excellent covid protocols, the staff is friendly, effective service and great food!! We always eat at RocoMamas Okovango and we do Mr Delivery and weve always been satisfied 🙂👌⭐

Rocos Okavango is one of my favourite places for a stop, wether it be for a quick beer, a burger, chicken wings, chilli cheese balls....doesnt matter; the quality of the food is always great. I went to the Okavango Branch on the 27th of February 2021. I was served by Nikki.Just a few observations from the visit:- COVID-19 protocols was applied when I entered the restaurant. They provided hand sanitiser, checked fever and gave me a form to complete as well.- My guest entered the restaurant but no COVID compliance check was done. She arrived 15 minutes later, and walked to where I was sitting because no-one came to her when she was at the door.- I wrote Bubblegum G-Shake and Espresso G-Shake on our order form, but a Strawberry G-Shake came instead of the Bubblegum G-Shake. We didnt mind because time was also not on our side.

Had a fantastic lunch with my kids, and I was so happy with food and service. Doctor strange u rock

Staff is friendly and helpful but the standard of food is not the same. I was there last year in December 2020 and the standard of food was excellent then, but today not so much. Wings (overcooked), Ranch sauce ( watered down) and chips cold.

Loved their burgers from the very first bite. I recommend the Six Bombs as a starter - the Chilli Cheese and Feta bombs are delicious! Then, if youve never been to RocoMamas before, you have to try one of their Freak Shakes - its kinda tradition. If you feel like having dessert, I highly recommend the Nutella and Banana waffel (warning: the full portion is quite a lot, so share it with someone if you can, otherwise simply order the half portion.)

Fantastic and fast service. Impressive super hot burger made for one of our brave friends. He absolutely loved it. I made a mistake on the tick boxes and got a burger I couldnt eat because of an allergy. They immediately took it away and brought the burger I initially wanted with no hassles. We ordered 2 x Burgers plus 2 x fries tonite 2 July 2021 at 19:00 through Uber Eats. Our food arrived at 20:15. Only one burger and chips was delivered. Ice cold. Phoned the manager but told me kitchen closed I must come back tomorrow. Terrible service.

I HAVE to do redo this review because the 5 stars alone didnt do it justice from a year ago. This place is amazing. I first went when I was celebrating a very important event (2020) and yesterday again (in 2021) for my 25th Birthday. Yesterday my waiter, Strange, was amazing and attentive and we got the limited edition burgers (Rocomamas never disappoint with any of their limited editions I have tried) and a Freakshake which was amazing.In 2020, I will never forget the day because we went to celebrate and the waitress was super friendly and even gave the name of the lash place she goes to when I asked. She was amazing too but I cannot remember her name sadly.All in all, no matter which Rocomamas I go to they never disappoint in food but this place has spirit and friendly staff.Thank you for making both special occasions memorable!

We went to Roco Mamas on a Thursday evening at 18h30 and the place was packed. Ribs and burgers are amazing. This is a medium chips in the photo, enough for two people to share. You tick the items you want off the menu which is something different. This is a great, vibey restaurant. Only thing that is a bit negative is the accoustics, can be difficult to hear oneself, even though there was no loud music playing. I will come back!

My partner and daughter ordered a oreo milkshake and cookies and scream waffle. We immediately notice that the ice cream was a off white color and not creamy at all. When we drank and ate the waffles it tasted like frozen milk thats been watered down. We informed the waiter Nikki that the ice cream was horrible, she went to the back and then informed us that the ice cream came from a tub and not the machine. She didnt actually do anything about the situation or our complaint even though we informed her of our dissatisfaction several times, the manager didnt address this either. Weve had milkshakes and burgers at this specific branch before and it was awesome. This time you definitely left us disappointed, you literally left a bitter taste in our mouths. A R5 ice cream cone at McDonalds wouldve been 100 times better than what we were served.

I am not a fan of sweet treats as savoury is more my thing but RocoMamas oreo waffle and ice-cream is a must have. Soft, fresh and a balanced amount of sweetness. I will definitely have it again.
