If you keen for a rocking time with fantastic hamburgers, waffles, milkshakes and more then you definitely want to visit RocoMamas. They have friendly staff, good food, and a fantastic vibe/setting. There is inside and outside seating and the venue is wheelchair friendly including bathroom. They are easy to find as they are on the main road and easy to spot. There is ample free parking across the road with a signaled crosswalk.Highly recommended.

Phoned to order a meal. Person who took my order was very helpful and recommended a burger special which came with fries (great portion and so fresh).... I ordered a milkshake as well and the custard milkshake was recommended to me. Glad I listened. Amazing shake. Overall. Efficiency and professionalism were fantastic. My order was ready asap. The burger was so meaty, cheese, saucy and just damn tasty. Packaging of food is great too.... Thank you guys.

Their service is impeccable and honestly some of the best Ive had in a long time. Not only is the food absolutely amazing its also quite reasonable. I highly recommend this outstanding restaurant to all.

How long does it take for an order of two downsize waffles??? If you are happy to wait for 45 min then thats great. I wasnt very impressed with the long wait as the restaurant wasnt very busy. I must add the waffles tasted great and well presented but still no need to wait that long for it.

I ordered a takeaway via bolt food from here and the food was completely burnt. I’m extremely disappointed in this establishments food quality control. The chips were over-fried and literally inedible, they were as hard as a rock and the petty was as equally dry and burnt. How does a manager even allow food of that quality to be delivered to a customer ?Do they not have quality checks before packaging and sending food to customers? How does the cook even serve that when its clearly visible that the food is burnt ? I want a refund for my order. I’m not pleased at all with this establishments service. Put better controls in place to avoid sending customers indigestible food. I literally had to throw away the entire order, imagine paying for something that was literally inedible. I want my refund.

I never go out of my way to review franchise restaurants but wow Ive been ordering the chicken Caesar salad every week for the past month and its so freaking good every time! Well done!

Best burgers Ive ever had in my life... not exaggerating. Rocomamas just are the best at what they do. Im not being paid to say this, I am just a regular and have probably had every burger on their menu and have never been dissatisfied with their variety, taste or quality. I can confirm that after ordering from them on 15+ different occasions that they are indeed CONSISTENT - nuff said.

Went to Rocomamas last night for the first time in quite a few months. As usual, their chips were absolutely amazing. When I say theyre the best in Cape Town I really mean it. I was really excited for their Southern chicken burger because it used to be my favourite. Unfortunately, for the first time, I was disappointed. They seem to have changed the recipe for the batter for the chicken because it wasnt crispy and wasnt nearly as tasty as it used to be. The crumb used to be full of flavour and crunchy but now its almost tasteless, soggy and oily. The colour was also much darker than usual which made me think they had used old oil. Im not quite sure if it was an off day or if their standards have just dropped. The service was good and the bombs were tasty. I will be back for the chips because those are amazing.Edit: I did as the manager asked and followed the link etc. Filled in their form over a month ago with no response. A little disappointed.

Waffles are amazing and well priced😊 burger was decent and tasty. Chips were average, and had had a slight off tasty, oil wasnt properly drain. Service was good and the manager friendly. Overall still enjoyed the meal. Would definitely go back.

A long time dream of my daughers and so finally we got an opportunity to visit...the Rondebosch beanch. It was a real treat as i made her walk from Cavendish Square...lol.Excitemnt aside and we finally ordered the double chhese burger and cheesy fries and bubblegum milkshake...for me were bbq wings...garden salad...plain fries.My daughter complained the cheesy fries were too cheesy and i ended up with them in a swop...the bubblegum milkshake was white(not blue or pink) and was deathly sweet. My bbq wings were too sweet and def missing salt...but the salad was great bowl of freshness and flavour.I guess il take her again if she asks but if im nt awed first time then its hard to get me back for seconds. Oh...we ended with a mini waffle which was nothing mini at all. Crispy waffle drenched insauce and banana....yummy...with a grade 2 icecream(iv had better). Service was on the ball. The place was filling up and it looks like theyl be a winner for most for years to come.

Great food, great staff. Momo, our waiter, went out of his way to give us a wonderful service. The food was yummy and everything was spaced well according to COVID protocols. We sat outside and when it got a bit chilly was offered a table inside. I have never been to this branch before but enjoyed my food and the vibe, and will definitely be back.

Okay burgers. The bombs are amazing.If you have a full dinner there with sides, burger chips and a drink. Expect to pay R200-R300 per person. Not very cheap.

We went to get takeaways and we had to wait 30 minutes for our food to be ready. Then the order was wrong for the one burger. The other burger was so undercooked we had to recook it at home. The chips had 0 spice on them and were severely undercooked. On top of all of this for that 30 minutes we got to listen to the one lady scream orders at the cooks for the entire time. Horrible Horrible will never go again this was shocking.

The burger was underwhelming but the shake was really good... I asked for a surprise me and I got a chocolate type shake it was epic

I ordered a burger from them via Mr Delivery and found 3 staples in my burger - the unfortunate event of having one in my mouth and finding another 2 under the bun. I didnt investigate if there were any more. I have no idea how that would get in my burger. I will never order from them again!! I should have taken photos for proof, but I was so disgusted, I threw the whole thing away.

I placed an order at 6:34 pm and they accepted it and then never fulfilled it. I called them multiple times and they never answered the phone. I logged a query with Mr Delivery after it was 20 minutes late and Mr D sent me an email saying something has gone wrong and they are going to investigate. But by that time all restaurants were closed by 8pm due to the lockdown. DONT ACCEPT AN ORDER YOU CANNOT FULFILL, THAT IS COMMON SENSE.

I didnt eat but had a gin on a stopover to do some urgent evening work on my laptop. The four stars are for that gin concoction alone! No idea whats in it that makes it so different and tasty, but its GOOD! Service tops too!

The service at this branch is always so welcoming! Our waiter this evening, Momo has served us quite a couple of times and never fails to make us laugh by cracking a joke or two. Today was the first time my partner and I tried the nachos and oh boy were they yummy! Lastly, if youre like me and are one of those people who love chicken burgers, go for Roco Mamas Southern Fried Chicken Burgers.

Absolutely pathetic service at the Rondebosch branch. We waited 40min to receive our fries and the waitress did not even apologize for the long wait. People around us had ordered Pork Ribs and were served before us. Would urge you to stay away from Rocomamas in Rondebosch at order Mr D instead

So glad to finally have a branch in the Southern Suburbs! The service was exceptionally good especially considering how busy they are at the moment. The food did not disappoint and we got exactly want we went for. Notable mention needs to be made of the décor, its beautiful and very detailed. I look forward to many more visits.

I visited today and I was very dissatisfied. The service wasnt the best only because the waiter had to be the barista and at one stage griller in the kitchen and try and be the waiter.The manager wasnt of any assistance when we arrived. When greeted by the door the she shouted from a distance table for two.It is not his fault that his service was bad.Everything else was great, but trying to do 3 jobs as well not very pleasant.When we left the other manager helped us because she could see he was busy.Hence why I give 2 stars.

Rondebosch branch is the best!Have eaten at a few of the other branches but keep going back to RB as their Classic Veg Burger is my absolute fave and they get the texture to a perfect finish, crunchy outside, soft inside. The fries are the best around and I top my meal off by sharing a downsize Classic Waffle with a friend. (Belgium Dark Choc sauce on the side) 😋Furthermore, the service is fantastic and the waitrons remember our order from previous visits!! 😁👌🏻

I can see why they call them bombs because that’s precisely what they are. DA BOMB.🔥 I love spicy and the hot sauce and jalapeno bombs are HOT. Sooo good but definitely beware if you are timid about spicy food.👌🏼 The old skool bbq ribs (beef) were just what I was hoping for after a long hike up lions head. So tender and juicy, warm and flavorful. I’ll be back for these.🧡 Great ambiance, warm and attentive service. I ordered buffalo wings which was delivered without the dip. I called the manager and he said there was nothing he could do about it at the time. He promised to do his best to make it up to us. That was several days ago. I am guessing their best is nothing.

I am so disappointed at what used to be the best burger chain in the business. I ordered a take away, one a burger and chips combo, the other a stand alone burger and standalone large chips with cheese. Firstly the delivery missed one packet of chips. The burgers were terrible...I make better burgers at home. They didnt taste like RecoMamas at all. Then dont get me started with the cheese chips...threw them away. It was a waste and a disappointment...
