Wow what flavors the food has. Absolutely worth eating at. Christina our server was just so delightful. The mussels were delicious I had to mop up that lovely sauce. Need to take my lovely wife there. Enjoyed the lamb chops. Would recommend both dishes. Certainly will visit again.

Had a wonderful breakfast this morning with family. We tried a variety of options and all the food was absolutely delicious. Service from Asanda was spot on - friendly and efficient.

Delicious dishes, Rissotto is my favorite, its a winner and all their other dishes are excellent, great & friendly staff and William is very polite. My favorite restaurant. Love the location as well.

I worked here when it first opened, its still OK. Food was tasty, but my Moroccan tram was missing the coriander, my husband asked for the potato rosti with his eggs benedict but got a corn fritter, which was still tasty, but not what he ordered. Waiter did not check if I wanted a refill on my bottomless coffee, nobody checked if we enjoyed our meal. Over all, it was decent, but not great.

We were looking for a good, no wait fantastic restaurant and found this in the Foodbarn. They have very good food with nice wine pairing (for a good price) and has a good fibe, without going to much into fine dining!

One of my favorite spots for years, I love the setting, look and feel of the interior especially after the recent renovations. Outstanding and consistent food, exceptional service.

Food Barn is a firm favourite with my family and weve been coming here for years. I really recommend the seafood dishes. Sadly, on our last visit we had a vegetarian with us and we struggled to find any food she could eat - as some of the vegetarian dishes included fish, and she is allergic to mushrooms. Unlike La Mouette who were able to accommodate another guest of mine in a similar situation, my international guest was forced to eat bread alone. This is immensely sad, as she had previously visited on multiple occasions and had no issues.

Wonderfully presented food including delicious vegan option (more please), thoughtful wine list and nice terrace for families overlooking playground. Will definitely come back.

As a recent rediscovery I have absolutely fallen in love with the food here again... the Truffle sauce accompanying the mushroom ravioli is the best Ive had in many years!

I visit the Foodbarn regularly. Its not a full service restaurant any longer, Covid has changed that. Its more of a coffee shop bistro. Service is good and the coffee is superb.

Beautiful decor with a great atmosphere from the village. The food is delicious and high quality, the staff are friendly. The food barn is easily one of my personal favorite restaurants.

The Foodbarn is always a lovely experience with its beautiful setting, its variety of eateries and quirky shops. It has one major drawback, however, and that is its lack of wheelchair accessible toilets! Those that do pay lip service to wheelchair accessibility were definitely designed by someone who has never sat in a wheelchair, let alone accessed a toilet from one! It is really unfortunate and zuite shocking that Cape Town, in general, doesnt cater to those reliant on wheelchairs for mobility. Buck up, Cape Town tourism especially as covid has made you more reliant on locals, many of whom have to get around using wheelchairs.

Brunch or Dinner, the food is amazing. If you are in area and dont eat here, you are missing out.My favourite place for Brunch and the Whole Goose - see photo!

This was my favourite placebut the last visit left me a bit disappointed. Layers of superb flavours is what ive always gone back for. Maybe just an off day. Ill go again next month.

Burgers were undercooked...if I wanted a live animal I would have asked for one. The vegetarian been dish was not fresh, probably defrosted and that is why it was so watery.

Ive been an on/off regular here for what feels like more than 10 years, I recall celebrations on the 2nd floor when it was still around, its always been worth the drive, Franck is a great chef - love his food, hence why I couldnt go lower than 3/5 stars. Decided to have a breakfast here the other day....I know post C19 and some staff issues the place has taken a knock...long story short I witnessed a great difference: the orange juice left much to be desired...the service was disappointing...the salmon tasted like/was trout...my double short was just a plain latte...the corn fritter and hash brown tasted like old oil and were cold....I really hope things improve.

We could sit outside even in a rainy day.Both the calamari salad and the fish of the day were excellent and very well presented.Good desserts

Cute set-up next to a modern day farmers market type set-up. The restuarant itself is professional and cost a bit more than what was expected, but the food was great nonetheless. Waitresses and waiters were professional and friendly. Although, do take a look at your menu before ordering as some meals come with a juice. We made the mistake of ordering juice beforehand and ended up wasting juice, which is unfortunate. This stop is more on the luxury side (fancy?) and not what we expected as we had just popped in from a Silvermine hike.

Had an amazing breakfast. Eggs were scrambled just right and not soggy. Bacon was not too crispy.

We had a memorable experience and will be back soon.

Went here with my fiancé during our stay in Camps Bay over Christmas & NY, once for brunch. Food and setting we found to be extremely good with the mini shopping village being just lovely.

Good service, friendly staff, nice play area for kids but the quality of the food is not as good as it used to be. Vegetarian selection limited to a couple of options. Good coffee.

They now do breakfasts. So we visited to celebrate a birthday. Really good service and excellent breakfasts perfectly done and presented. A little surprise at the end for the birthday lady. Lovely setting.
