Post run and swim, go to coffee shop. Vegan heaven. Way better than your standard coffee shop. Friendly staff. It is however easy to burn oat milk in a Cuppachino.

When youre in a hurry and want a quick shot of caffeine and a selection of munchies to go with it, you have to visit Mason J on the beach front in Campsbay. There is a traffic light, bus stop and taxi rank close by which at times can be noisy if you sit down, but the stunning view from there to the ocean through the palm trees make up for any noisy inconveniences. Delicious! Now go and sun your buns 😉!!

I am in LOVE with this place! My daughter and I went there this morning and the service was literally the best service we have experienced in a LONG time! Friendly and welcoming! We had two donuts and a coffee and I can’t eat anywhere else. It was DELICIOUS!! Thank you!!!

6 tables, 5 were unoccupied so I decided to sit to finish a quick bite I got from Picnpay. Absolutely not. Not allowed to sit at a table (outside picknpay!!) so I sat on the pavement next to the table. Surely staff, if I didn’t buy there today, I might tomorrow. After the telling off I got from staff, I won’t ever. Nice one!

Love the OKJA oat milks and its awesome to be able to have them with your flat white now!!!

Basically a Window bar. They only serve alternative milk coffees. Coffee is not good. Pastry is not good. Good staff.

Outrageously good coffee and croissant. Never had better anywhere in France. But the best thing about Maison J are the staff. Where does David find them? Their infectious smiles (pardon) single-handedly saved me during lockdown.

The service was amazing from the workers. I not only enjoyed my beverage but I also received kindness and some jokes.

Little vibey coffee spot on pavement next to Pick n Pay. Fresh croissant varieties and bagels offered to accompany your favourite coffee blend. Its popular with early morning cyclists, dog walkers and runners. French music helps filter out some of the noise from the road if you want to linger.

The service was great but the bagel was a bit dense for me. And they were all out of croissants. Coffee was okay. We sat down but nevertheless got paper cups which arent my sort of thing. Of course the view is incredible! And we got a lovely spot of sunshine too.
