Mukena is the guy that not only looks after every customer so beautifully, he also brings the sparkle, the giggle and the pizzaz with every cup. Love this shop and the opportunity to chat with him every morning ✨

This company just does things so well the look and feel is unreal. Coffee was great quality and tasted awesome. Also they have a special for those.cyclers out there before 830 coffee is R18. Do wish that had a little kids area. Also the waitors and management team are so polite and helpful.

Cannot recommend this place and the staff enough. We visited a few times and just loved the place! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, especially Primrose & Jabu (I think it was?). They even lent us some umbrellas for the day for some shade at a braai we were having for my brothers re-arranged wedding. Cant wait to go back.

Well located and hugely popular, but unfortunately the service can be slow on busy days. The salmon bagel was a bit small and chewy. But the omega smash was more satisfying and better value for money. The coffee never disappoints.

We stopped for a flat white and a cookie mid afternoon and spent an hour or so with the team. Coffee was great and our waiter Lusapho took great care of us and made some lovely recommendations. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Bootleggers has a groovy vibe to it when you first enter. The staff are very friendly and the service is super quick and efficient. I’ve enjoyed my morning coffees there, and occasionally indulge in their vegan burgers which are super nutritious and delicious!

Would recommend avoiding due to how slow the service is. I went in today at lunch when it was half full, and there were at least four waiters working. I was seated outdoors immediately, but then waited about 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me or take my order. This was all while other tables received their food and three separate waiters walked past me. I almost walked out. When someone finally took my order, there was no greeting or friendliness. I received my banana bread and latte quickly, but had to flag someone down to ask for utensils while everything got cold. After I was finished, I had to ask two separate waiters for the bill, and then waited a while to actually get it. All in, I spent 50 minutes there just to have a latte and banana bread; I can’t imagine what a full breakfast experience would be but I’d have to clear my calendar for it I’m sure.The banana bread was good but the latte tasted weak.

Visited bootleggers bake oven for the first time coming from port Elizabeth.Recommended by a friend I thought I should give them a try .Staff friendly and ever smiling..... I had the chicken burger that came with fresh avo , bacon and some crispy fries(best burger in town by far).The atmosphere in this restaurant is amazing I would recommend anyone to try this spot 😊😊😊. And also their coffee is a must try.Happy customer I will definitely be back .Thank you

Location is very cool, easy access to a few nearby beaches. Popular spot for cyclists and runners doing the coastal routes. Service was really great, the waitress was very friendly and confident in her knowledge of what was available. Bread was delicious as well as the coffee! Also, they serve almond milk so thats a big win!

We had a great experience visiting this Bootlegger! Tshepo was the best waiter - a funny dude who made our morning! Perfect, delicious breakfast with a great choice!

Lately Ive taken to spending a lot of time at this Bootlegger. I cant get enough of Bootlegger! Whether its for breakfast, or a Mexican-styled Bhuddha bowl (my favourite), or just a regular number 6 (a fresh juice). I highly recommend this place too for people who need a place to sit down and work remotely. Thank you, Bootlegger.

Very bad service and experience. Was w our small child, couldnt get even an apple juice after 40min of ordering and waiting. Asked 3 different waitters and they simply said they will report the manager. Anyways unclear why anyone would recommend this place.

Primrose was welcoming big smile and so were all the watrons attentive but not too much the presentation of food very good and even the customers were happy even when they were told there were no more croissants! Thanks for your warm hospitality

Cool (small) place to have an early or late breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Went there twice and enjoyed various egg dishes, the granola and fresh juices - all was delicious!

Food was good but we had to wait 50 mins for our order, thats extremely long for just a table of 5. The coffee was quite good though. Not impressed.

Great location, but unfortunately thats all that this spot has going for it. The food was bland and expensive and the coffee was served cold. On top of this, we were charged extra for condiments without warning (such as the fresh chilli).

Bootleggers offers consistently good coffee (worth a tempting reduced price before 08:30), friendly service and tasty food. If you bring a pooch, they are allowed to even sit inside and will be provided with a bowl of water.

As with all Bootleggers the coffee is very and the quality of the food is above average. They lose a star because there offering of R18 for a coffee if you order before 8:30, has now fallen away.

Good restaurant, especially for breakfast, but it suffers from inconsiderate patrons. Being surrounded by smelly cyclists is not conducive to a good breakfast, especially if you have to remove their helmets from your table.
