Well Spur is usually Spur. Been around for ages and no real excitement when thinking of going to Spur. I was pleasantly surprised when visiting this branch in Blouberg as firstly the large restaurant with large play area is appealing … and then you get the view! Really nice.No corkage is charged which is a delight at times and food comes out quite quicklyI love the fact they have upped their game with changing the plates to black and refining the presentation slightly. Excellent burgers .. better than before .. still love their onion rings and enjoyed the chicken wingsNachos slightly soggy but that does happen.Service a little slow but enjoyed this visit and would come back as the burger was awesome and kids love the play area.

This spur is located in a beautiful centrum just off the main road. The spur has a lively view of the ocean and the ooh so beautiful table mountain. They have good customer service and the breakfast we has was great. The place was very busy, but the waiting time for food and drinks wasnt long at all. The place is kept clean between each change of customers and the design and layout was also nice. Im not a spur fan from past experiences but this spur made my day. Would recommend for friends and family.

This Spur is one of my faves in Cape Town.. Firstly their food is always on point and their call and collect is alot. I never finish my meals, they give you alot. 💯 Eating in, the vibe is great and so is the view.

Staff is welcoming and friendly. They have a wonderful play area for the kids that is safe and the lady that looks after the kids dose a great job! 🤗The waiters are also friendly and professional and food tastes great.

What a wonderful Spur franchise. 5 Gold Stars for Golden Bay Spur! Beaulah our server was fantastic. We had the breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! Always nice to stop here. Will sit here just for the view. It was my first evening out to a restaurant longer than a year. Would have given 5 stars but my ribs was tasting warmed up and not prepared fresh

Surprised to see how spacious and Covid friendly this Spur was with stunning views and windows open and a huge fan blowing. So I can recommend if you need a quick safe meal

My wife and I visited Golden Bay Spur Steak Ranch for the first time yesterday evening. What a really enjoyable experience! The food was superb and very tasty. I was very impressed with the excellent service. Id like management to please personally convey our thanks to XOLISWA for her friendly, amiable and professional attitude. She alone will draw diners to your restaurant!

This Spur is always a great experience. The play area is fantastic for kids of a variety of ages and interest. The food is good quality and delicious. They are also good portion sizes. It is clean with a lovely family environment. All the managers are so friendly and helpful, but especially Brian. He goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and important.

Went out with my family and we had to look dor s Spur specially for kid. This is one the best Spur in the west coast. The waiters are very good and very carrying, paying attention to detailsThe payzone for kids is wide open with few tables facing it, which is very good idea for parents to have control over their kids while they are playing. We had a great experience and we look forward to going back again.

If you must go the Spur, go to the this one. The views of Table Mountain and Robben Island are breathtaking. The service was good and the steaks made perfectly to order. The huge play place with a child minder will keep the kids entertained. Worth the trip.

My daughter had a toasted cheese and tomato which was a shock it was excellent. Lots of cheese and like a home made farm bread toasted with butter. Really good. My unreal breakfast was its usual good standard. In total a brilliant experience

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this spot. We placed our order at 18:30 and eventually after having to speak to numerous people we eventually got our food at 20:00 it was cold and undercooked. We had to send meals back to the kitchen. Our waitress was super unprofessional we had to what felt like beg just to get a drink. it was a terrible experience and honestly felt embarrassed to bring my family here after raving about this place.

Service is always good and fast, staff friendly.The only disappointment I have is that when asked to have chips only instead of chips and onion rings, no extra chips were given which means that essentially we pay the same for less. This wasnt always the case here.Otherwise we had a good experience.

Wanted to try some steak here in South Africa. It was a good choice.. Not the best Ive had, but a good choice.

Portions are to small. Chips and onion rings are small not like other Spur,s. Chip basket is a bad idea it was half full. Onion rings was the size if my palm of my hand. Otherwise service was good. Grill need supervision.

Was not a great experience this morning, not very covid compliant, we had to ask for our tempratures, the bacon was thick and tastless, the chips were so little and not fresh. The whole experience felt rushed. We prefer West Coast Village Spur, quality food and fresh

A little more can be done with cleanliness in the balcony area. Moved twice to find a cleaner spot and then had to ask the waiter to clean the table. Food was good and views to write home about....

As a family we regularly enjoy the Golden Bay Spur. The play area is nice and the staff are friendly. One of the better run Spurs in South Africa. You wont be disappointed. Here are some pictures of the newly launched Beyond Burger.

We have always loved Spur, even when our children were little and enjoyed the play area. Now we all go as adults and still love the family vibe. From Steak to salad, always fresh. Even now with social distancing its a great place to meet up. Casual and friendly.

Thought the food would be amazing considering the area but was very let down. And stock also needs to be checked daily because we spend alot of money at spur only to get there and be told they dont have stock so they have to substitute it and then do it poorly.

This Spur is so well situated and the enclosed balcony seating has absolutely breathtaking views of the ocean and Table Mountain. On Mondays they have an awesome mouthwatering burger special. Sat down ordered the usual spur breakfast nothing fancy. We waited ages and got two instead of the ordered three. Although the manager did appologise with a complimentary breakfast. Lovely view of the ocean made it worthwhile

We have a 2 and 3 year old and this spur has the best and most accessible play area for the kids. Enough seating around it to know where the kids are at most times as well as someone who actively looks after the kids.Face painting and fun galore. Love it where

The new style of serving the chips in little baskets and the sauses seperate in little colourful bowls make eating at Golden Bay Spur a grand affair. This is realy a big improvement and the friendly staff is a bonus.

This is our local spur and we are so lucky to be able to frequent it. The staff are friendly and welcoming, run excellently by a very unobtrusive manager. We have the Pensioner special which is excellent. This Spur is so well geared for the whole family. On the one side, a safe spacious play area for the kiddies with seating around it for the parents to keep an eye on the youngsters. A quieter area is the lovely balcony area, with amazing views.Thanks to all the staff for running a restaurant that we so enjoy frequenting.

This is one of the reasons why I love the spur group . Spacious restaurant with endless view of the Table bay harbour. This venue allows for some social distancing and provides a sense of calm as you enjoy your wonderfully made food to your level liking and served by a team of customer driven players
