Good view over the sea, really friendly staff and the food was tasty. My only negative is that it is a bit pricey. But I am from a small town where for R140 you can get an awesome full English breakfast including coffee, and include a generous tip. Just saying.....

This is a lovely place for a dinner date... the vibe is just right, the aesthetic adds to the romance, and the COVID_19 regulations are in place. This was my very first visit to Lilys, I took my girlfriend here for a romantic dinner date... the food was amazing as well, however, my steak was a lil over cooked on one side though and the occasional fights I had with this one fly!! This the only annoying thing during our dinner, otherwise it was a great evening spent at Lilys.

I went for breakfast today from my morning run with my sister and it was our first time on this place. The breakfast was delicious compliments to the chef 🥂 , they got some generous portions as well. What an excellent restaurant! Melville was incredibly attentive. He is running around from table to table to check in with patrons, he subtly moves the heater closer without you asking... I asked for an extra mushroom sauce as my burger came, and he got the chef to make one from scratch. The service was truly impeccable! The atmosphere and decor is wonderful. The food was 👏 Shout out also to Jonas our waiter, highly recommended!! Ps. they are dog friendly

First time at Lilys and it wont be the last. This beachfront restaurant is chic and vibrant whilst commanding the best views of the Mouille Point coast line. While this stretch of road - Beach Road to be exact - has a litany of popular restaurants to dine at, Lilys eye catching food and drinks menu, mouth-watering food, and electric atmosphere is what makes it stand out. The fragrant, aromatic prawn linguine is amongst the best Ive ever had and the aptly named Death by Chocolate dessert will satisfy any palette. Another popular choice at our table was the tuna burger - seared tuna on a brioche bun. The front of house service was immaculate too, making this dining experience a memorable one.

Wow, what a food experience. From the unique menu to excellent presentation, the friendly and professional staff. Wonderful winelist, fully stocked bar. This is definitely targeted at the higher end of the visiting masses to Sea and Mouille Points, BUT with a surprisingly comfortable price range. The orders were taken professionally and delivered exceptionally. Good taste, though the calamari could have been seasoned a bit stronger for my personal taste. I could hardly fault them anywhere. One of the best places I have ever recommended. And a sea view to top it all❤️👌

Went to Lilys for breakfast, has a good atmosphere about it, hostess was nice and friendly and the waiter was attentive and well presented. We had eggs Benedict and it was awesome. Definitely want to try lunch and dinner

Stunning restaurant on Sea Point’s bustling promenade. The decor is well thought out and stunning. The staff is so friendly and always checking up on you. I loved the chairs (so so comfortable!). The food is wholesome, tasty and made with love. I couldn’t help but feel relaxed in this place. They have truly kept up to the high standard of all the establishments under the Kove Collection.

The staff was friendly, accommodating and super efficient.My children and I had a working lunch - waiters were at hand to serve without feeling like you are crowded. With laptops, tablets and books all over the table the waiter still found space to serve and assist with a smile.Food and deserts were superb with a reasonable waiting time.Albeit being across the road you pick up on the ocean and feel you are at the seaside (despite having to work).Definitely worth a visit.

It was OK. I honestly cannot be effusive about the place. If you need breakfast that is warm with slightly burnt bacon, and you dont mind, then it will suit your needs. Honestly, there was no wow factor but it wasnt a terrible experience either.

I was drawn to it by the music, it was calming yet enjoyable with crisp clear sound. The ambiance matched the view which was looking over the sea, sitting inside or outside. We enjoyed the breakfast, especially the freshly juiced ginger. For me it was a new experience.

It’s always lovely at Lily’s, the service is excellent, the food is great and you have the option of sitting inside or outside. 180 degree glass windows allows you to have a beautiful view of the ocean which is situated across the road. The food is great and the ambience is trendy and upmarket. Suitable for breakfast, lunches and cosy dinners. Advisable you make a reservation.

Service was extremely slow. The death by chocolate was not decadent but really sweet, too sweet. Expensive for it is not value for money.

After a long walk along the promanade we stopped for a Smoothie. Enjoyed the views. The berries smoothie and the Calamari starter was also good. A bit of a stiff formal setting for us as we were looking for that casual beach vibe place. This is no reflection on the restaurant just personal choice for the day. Good service so all round still a good experience.

Visited here for a breakfast with some friends. Was very impressed. Loved the location and on a lovely sunny day it was a great start. I had the Benedict (bacon) with my friends having the bacon on toast and Full House respectively.All meals looked delicious.The Benedict was cooked perfectly, the poached eggs were soft, the hollandaise sauce was awesome and the bacon was lovely and crispy.This was on top of delicious well made coffees.Will definitely visit again and will bring my family the next time.

We had a lovely lunch on a busy day during the Christmas period but luckily for us we were early enough to be seated.The restaurant is located in an amazing spot overlooking the ocean. The staff and service is fantastic and food was really great.Not the cheapest of meals but expected given the location and clientele

Amazing food, we had particularly great service from our waitress Gerty. She was absolutely spectacular and made the whole experience so increidble for us.We will definitely eat here throughout the duration of our trip - we had the Holy Cow steak and it just stunning. The presentation, the ambience, the feeling was so amazing.The food is pricey but I personally would say worth it. Being right across the beach doesnt hurt either!

This is a really cute restaurant with a very relaxed feel. The view is wonderful and the staff provide excellent service. I’ve only ever had breakfast and lunch and that’s been enough to keep me coming. I imagine watching the sun set over dinner would be amazing as well.

Lilys was amazing. The service was great and the food even better. We had the healthy fried chicken and keep slimming which was a hake with jazzed up couscous. The prices were better than most restaurants in the area. Im definitely going back soon.

I went there for breakfast and had to send it back as the eggs were not done as ordered, it then came back hard instead of medium overeasy. The price of their breakfast is outrageous R182. 00 for two eggs, 2 mushrooms, 3 rashers of bacon & 2 slices of toast and a glass of pear juice.

Beautiful restaurant with the right kind of vibe for a casual dinner for 2 or you can go there with a group of people.The service is good because waiters arent too in your face but they wont forget you. We had a the LFC which was really amazing, and the steaks are a solid option.Wine list is good but over priced - Nothing new for Kove collection.My only complaint is that there are 2 bathroom stalls for the whole restaurant. Surely they are joking about that.

Nice location close to the sea.In times.The restaurant is a bit noisy in times of high guest numbers, I would recommend some carpets or other noise breakers to solve this.

Fantastic brunch! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food arrived quickly and was prepared exactly as ordered. The food is slightly on the pricier side, but the quality of the food, presentation and staff shows. Highly recommended. They stop serving breakfast at 11:30 and start lunch from 12:00.

Comfortable chairs,great view and feeling of spaciousness.However the breakfast, for the price,was underwhelming.Coffee was in tiny cups -for a breakfast serving it would be nice yo have a bigger cup.

Lovely set up, however not great service- especially from the guys who stand at the entrance. My friend and I stood there looking at them for an uncomfortable two minutes before they decided to ask if we would like a table.We were not tended to even once aside from having our drinks brought to us. Not a very friendly waitress either.Would not go there again, I left feeling super displeased. Perhaps its just my bad luck.

Greeted by a wonderful hostess. My first time so got a fright for the pricing and amount of food, however if you want to experience and explore you have to pay🤦It is the ambience and the environment and friendliness of the staff and where the restaurant is situated, that attracts the many customers as there was a line for morning breakfast. Maybe it is the view of the sea. It was clean and there was alcohol sanitiser on the table. The bread was lovely, the ciabatta 🍞🎉👍☕

Two of us ordered a quick lunch . Sandwiches. Omw. What rubbish. The pastrami was cold when hot was ordered. The bread on the cheese was rock hard and literally inedible. With coffee R300 was such a waste.

Surprised at all the deep fried food options.. otherwise very nice place, good food options, great service. Chef could consider air fry instead of deep fry.Also.. between the loud music and passing cars, its difficult to have a conversation when sitting outside.

Beautiful views and very nice vibe. The menu is disappointing though however I am sure there are other people who would like the menu. Also the coke I ordered came in a miniscule 200ml can but gets charged for a proper can rate. A regular glass takes 350ml so filling it up with ice and lemon slices is a bit of a cheat. My sons ordered fanta and their drinks came with proper sized cans.The food was tasty and fresh. I would not say it is value for money but it was tasty and that counts for a lot. Service is fast and efficient. They have bowls for dogs on the floor too as it seems to be a pet friendly restaurant.

Beautiful decor which makes it feel luxurious but cosy. The food was tasty especially happy with the low carb options. The Chicken Supreme was served with cauli mash. Definitely a gem.

Great location right on the beach. Lovely looking restaurant. The food however was just ok. I cant complain about it because it was good but it just wasnt great.. My eggs were runny which I really dont like so that could be what put me off. I like almond cappacino but the milk they used did not taste like what I am used to. The normal cappacino was good though.

Absolute gem! On a Cosy corner, great decor and the food.. Mmmm! Definitely recommended the Epic Fish and Chips. Perfectly cooked and the accompanying sauce was delicious 👌🏽 efficient service and friendly staff. Lovely spot.

Food is always great! We love this restaurant. We sat outside considering Covid 19, you can be 1.5m away from other tables, which we appreciate now. They have illy coffee and also almond milk for those avoiding cow milk. I had Cesar salad, the best in town, my hubby had rump and was perfect he said. Service can be a bit slow sometimes, but we did not mind now. Really worth your money!

Really bad experience. Food was terrible. We ordered cauliflower , couscous with grilled hake... hake was overcooked not seasoned. Slice of lemon was tiny, dish lacked flavour. Hake portion probably 50g no taste at all.... other dish crispy chicken with sticky rice avo and peanut sauce.....no sauce 6 peanuts on top of sticky rice chicken schnitzel burnt and dry warm avo... really bad experience.... sorry.... beautiful restaurant though..

Lilys has a nice atmosphere. It gets quite full in the mornings. If you do not want to wait for a table, you better get there early.
