Useless management, they dont have client service management. They are rude, more especially the tall dark gentleman who refused to give his name. Thats a no go area. I will never go there again

Is there a contact number for the Alberton City store? The number i found online just rings and rings and rings. How do they do business like this?

Regret going to the shop Big time , was helped by useless incompetent Guy musandiwa Khumalo. took out a sim contract and went to do a change and he blocked my No. He even had a nerve to tell me will take 10 days for my no to be unblocked ., how i regret to be served by him as i heard the ladies are quite good.

I was surprised by the knowledge and experience of the technician. He knew exactly what was the problem and resolved it in less than 30 minutes.

PHONES DONT WORK, WASTE OF TIME

Try to get any service out of them is like pulling teeth. You have to go in each time and then they never do what they have promised you. They promised a device when I took out a contract, but when I go in the next day to collect they cant be bothered to call you to say the shop is closed. Then I go in gain the next day just to hear them tell me they dont have the phone I want in stock. I have now waited 2 days just to port my number. They dont call you back so you have to go in each time. I am a busy person so I cant keep wasting my time going there. And trying to get through to a call center is near impossible, minimum 20 minute wait and the the call drops. Starting to regret moving over to Telkom

You call their shops nd theres no answer

I regret going to that shop. They broke my phone and claim I broke it myself and now I have to pay a contract for the phone I dont have. And their technicians are useless even the managers that keep on changing every now and then. If you want stress go to that shop

Why is it that you cannot talk to a person - just get automated voice that does not give me the option that I require - no service at all.Still waiting for the store manager to contact me - I am not holding my breath.If the replies to these reviews are looked at they are all very similar (We are sorry to hear this. 6 help desks and only one is open yet there is enough stay to have 4 more open. The ladies here would rather be strolling around the store or on their phones than to assist a customer. First time here and won’t be coming back again.

I have been going through these reviews to see if i am not the only one that has problems and even tried the phone numbers provided but still no luck. I have been phoning every number i can get but still nothing. What does a person have to do get through and speak to someone that can help. (Update) - I spent way more time phoning for customer service that is needed. Go to your nearest shop as advise for best results!!

Been trying to contact this store for over a week. At one point i called non stop, they then proceeded to leave the phone off the hook. Pathetic. This store is in serious need of new management. If you have so many walk in customers, higher more people. Surely youll can afford it, youre Telkom, you collect more money than the tax man. Please improve your companys service. Fast. You really are an epic failure. Quite sad really, and overwhelmingly useless.

Why is your express point not working??? I am the only customer who wanted a product cash and made to wait between contract applications. Telkom Alberton City gives Telkom a bad name!

Called ahead to find out if they had a technician instore , they said yes.They lied, wastedy lunch hour there and my phone is no closer to being repaired.

Absolutely terrible service staff not knowledgeable. Did sim swop on the 6th February till date SIM card doesn’t work. Repeated going in store with no luck. Keeping taking my number and promising to call me back.

My two year contract expired in November 2015. On 9 January 2016 I cancelled the contract personally at the Alberton City Branch and took out a new contract with the assurance that the contract will be cancelled within 20 days. I phoned numerous times and everytime the representative of Telkom assures me that the contract will be cancelled in 20 working days and even went to the Alberton Branch twice with no luck. I reporting it again on 17/18 February 2016 via the Telkom Support e-mail, I completed another form to cancel the contract again. Today to my surprise I received another invoice from Telkom. Up to date my telephone line is still active. My modem was struck by the lighting in December and had no use of the Adsl line since then. I was also told that they can not transfer my data to the new contract. What do I have to get this contract cancelled !!!!!!! I was even given the wrong advise by the people at Alberton Branch regarding a new contract.

I cannot even explain how aggravated I am. None of the Telkom stores answer their phones PERIOD.Alberton City, both branches, I want to run into the store and slap someone! ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE, newsflash people, without your customers you dont have a job, wake up!!! and phoning 10213 or 082180 or any of the other numbers DOES NOT HELP, they tell you to phone the store or go there! I am trying to upgrade my 5 contracts, I think I will just go to another service provider

So 4 weeks ago we applied for a change of ownership of our internet.Firstly either telkom is always off line or theres some excuse to attend to the request.Staff was extremely rudy and incompetent and feel like i wasted my time even coming to this shop.When we finnaly got to telkom while being online we were told i need bank statements so i quickly ran to the bank.On return i found out that the staff told my old lady to go to woolies for this its much quicker, just to return in tears as all of woolies was laughing at her and explained this is what telkom does if they dont want to help you.4 weeks later still no respone on my application.Telkom alberton city what a joke

I had a bad experience at the Telkom shop. The stuff is very rude and in instead of telling me answers they tell you more problems. But there was one person that could get the job done and not wasted my time MR Mzwakhe Sibiya... Guys if you are going to visit the Telkom at Alberton go this guy

I have never met ruder staff in my life and thats saying a lot given the general bad service youd receive almost anywhere these days. You walk into this store and the staff members carry on around you as though youre a table or chair, not helpful whatsoever and even getting a greeting is asking a lot! Even the staff who had no customer to help just sat there staring into space while ppl were anxiously waiting to be assisted, those on the staff that were approached acted like they were being insulted. The man I dealt with today was already telling me he couldnt help me before I even sat down or muttered a proper sentence! He then proceeded to pick his nose while I was asking him for crucial information I needed concerning a contract upgrade and didnt even go as far as to ask me what contract I was referring to or anything relevant. I felt like a nursery school teacher watching over a 3 yr old! This is just one of the countless occasions Ive gone in there and been treated so poorly. All the staff there should be ashamed of themselves and do us all a favour by staying home and allowing people who actually care about doing their job to do theirs. Stay away from this branch, youll be doing yourself a massive favour...actually stop dealing with telkom altogether. They dont care so why should we...Ive gone there more than 5 times with the same query and still havent received appropriate helpful info. Disgusted!

The sales reps and assistants are friendly, do not always have stock if you are looking for a specific device but they will special order it for you

Applied for a tab a week ago they could not process the request because they were off line how ironic, also been trying to phone the store for a week and no answer. Went to the store directly on Thursday and they are still off line. Pathetic service
