This beautiful wine estate has it all. Beautiful views, great wine, romantic accommodation and delicious classy food. We stayed in the Homestead for a weekend and it was quiet, comfortable, very tastefully decorated and offered the most amazing morning and evening views from the bedroom. It is on the expensive side. But well worth it. Spoil yourself. Well most certainly be back.
Love this place. Best value for money when it comes to wine tasting. Staff are friendly and on the ball. Their charcuterie board is the best in the winelands.
We just came back from an exceptional wine tasting at Dornier Wine Estate. Beautiful setting and well worth the drive. I am a red wine lover and if you are too the wines that stood out for me was the Malbec, Cab/Merlot blend and Merlot. Very tasteful wines and prices are not over inflated either. I must say their dessert wine is incredible as well. The cherry on the cake was our sommelier Bell. He made the experience very memorable by being an excellent host.Well done Dornier. You will see us again.
What a shocking experience compared to what you can get in the rest of stellenbosch. Spend about R400 on drinking wine but when asking for water it’s not possible for the young arrogant staff to organize this. Pretty slap dash experience and disappointing experience. Sad after supporting this farm for so many years...
A first class experience for our guests.🇿🇦👌
We held our wedding here and rented the Homestead for three nights. Coming from abroad we had a lot to do in order to get things set up and prepared. Thankfully Lianndi (The Manager/Coordinator) had stepped in and coordinated with vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly and looked incredible!Although the homestead was older, it was an authentic, relaxing experience with amazing staff who ensured we had everything we needed.A very underrated venue with astounding views for a wedding and incredible scenery for photos. The food was absolutely delicious and did not disappoint. All our food, cake and even macaroons were provided for by the restaurant and nothing disappointed. Thanks to all the staff for making this such an easy, stress-free experience!
Lovely personal and customized customer service. Amazing wine tasting. Amazing wine ❤
We heard a nice time and the hospitality was superb
Loved our lunch here and the chenin blanc was amazing. Great with kids.
The wine and lunch here is fantastic! I would return for both the wine tasting and restaurant. I also stayed at the homestead but was not impressed by this. The rooms were below average, no one to check you in on arrival and VERY hot and stuffy as no air con. Also no staff or security around so it doesnt feel particularly safe.
Amazing food totally blew us away. Kids had a blast. A must on the bucket list.
Maintaining the gardens on the estate. Always a privilege being on the farm. Beautiful setting and ambiance.
Great family friendly place in a very beautiful and peaceful spot in Stellenbosch. Obviously with great wines on the very reasonably priced menue but besides that also very interesting selection of local beers. Always worth a lunch stop over!
Very good wines and they sell Inverroche gin - perfect afternoon tasting venue! Great view from the restaurant as well
Gorgeous views. Perfect for big parties and lazy lunches. Great service and amazing wines
Awrful. Filthy restaurant - not a single table cleared. Had to accost someone to even e acknowledged. Was told they had run out of food only to see someones order being taken later. Was waiting for a rider in the Epic to come through. Would give 0 stars if possible.
A brilliant venue with an excellent restaurant and service to match. You wont be disappointed visiting Dornier Wine Estate
Such a beautiful place with excellent food and service.
Excellent Service. Meals are fantastic, just small portions (Lady size)
It is a beautiful place but the service in the restaurant as well as the wine tasting room was absolutely appalling. I won’t return.
Beautiful wine farm with exquisite scenery, even better during winter when the mountains have snow on its peaks
Lovely venue with a great view of the Overberg mountain range. A most luxurious and broad menu, complimented with a range from tapas to Duck Confit.
Very good wines and friendly helpfull staff
Pleasant location with knowledgeable staff at the wine tasting
Great view with delicious tapas!!! great for small or large groups.
Excellent range of wines. Something for everyone.
Beautiful surroundings instilling peace and tranquillity. Friendly service bringing out the best of Stellenbosh Winelands.
Had a lovely wine tasting with knowledgeable staff in a great setting!
Amazing views and great food
Excellent food - lovely setting
Great wine tasting experience!
Outstanding food and excellent service.
Good food. Good view.
Superb food and excellent service
Outstanding food!! Wow! A must go!
Your telephone service at Dornier are very very bad for a business, you cant even leave a proper message on it, and the tone repeat and repeat and repeat, I will never ever contact you again
Since Cape Town this wine route is wonderful, and their wines what a treat. In France we have good wines but here they are also really good. Since then, I have never failed to buy some at a party or a special occasion.
Very good romantic restaurant cool wines to go with it worth having lunch here during the winery tour
Were eating again today in the restaurant as all the years before. there was no bread this year ahead which Karl-Heinz so praised. The menu has become smaller.5 x quiche, as an appetizer, two salads. Missed the Mussels. The service was poor this year. Will this restaurant shun zukünftigt. Too bad.
Food and wine very good! However, we got a terrible room this year and changed our accommodation after the first night. What I would like to emphasize, however, is that the hotel manager didnt even charge us for the night we slept there - Im only rating the overnight stay, not the food and wine (which is excellent), the 3 stars are there due to the very competent and friendly manager.(it only refers to the Dornier accommodation, not to the new rooms / guesthouse in Mont Angelis)
Great food, the best bread I have ever eaten, with a little olive oil and salt. Delicious.
Wonderful! Place, service, wines! With art involved!
