What an awesome experience. The food was good, the wine was excellent and very child friendly. There was however no baby changing station 😔.

Shane served us so professionally: he checked regularly how we were faring and was helpful in supplying info about lunch menu choices. The venue is welcoming and decor beautiful. The three courses on the set menu were well balanced in terms of colours, textures and flavours. Very tasty indeed! All in all an excellent experience. I would recommend it highly!

What a place it’s incredible. It’s so beautiful and the facilities if you have kids are just the best ever. Jumping castle and jungle gym and a pool and stream and grass also have a lovely affordable kids menu. The wine tasting was delicious, they also set our table up amazingly and looked and felt great. I do think the staff could do with some more training, they left empty plates on our table a lot of times also took my plate while I was eating and our cheese platter took like 3days to come and they didn’t apologize.

A WOW experience.. breath-taking venue, all Covid protocol in place, warm atmosphere, friendly service, tasty and well presented food, friendly staff, we will definitely be back for another experience.

We dont seat customers outside for Breakfast., we were told upon arrival at this restaurant.So parents with a 2 year old daughter, who cannot be left unattended at a play area, are required to sit inside almost 60 meters away, with no minders for the children and completely out of line of sight. Leading to a completely disjointed breakfast because your restaurant policy is to keep your tables outside for lunch bookings.Ive been involved in the restaurant industry for many years and have never encountered this. Especially with a restaurant that has more outdoor seating than indoor. This is the best way to chase away parents with young children.The restaurant was empty and we arrived at 10am. It boggles my mind that a restaurant during a Pandemic, where many are closing shop or desperate for business would take such a stance. My wife and I are avid supporters of restaurants since I left the trade and want to play our part in keeping places alive. Sadly Knorhoek will not be one of them. To promote that you are kid friendly and then expect parents to sit inside so far away just to keep your lunch trade customers happy... Either this was an amateur hour prank or someone seriously doesnt understand how to run a restaurant.One star is being kind.

From a relaxing wine tasting enjoying the beautiful mountains and forest surrounding the farm, great restaurant with the best food, to a well needed breakaway in their comfortable cottages, and the ideal venue for a wedding.... Heaven on earth.... with some of the most beautiful hiking trails and trail runs on this wine farm and surroundings. Feeling honoured to share in their little heaven on earth.

Gorgeous setting with the most beautiful grassed area for kids to play on. A pool for their delight and a really relaxed atmosphere with the most exceptional staff who cater for your needs with a smile and are effortlessly professional. Really worth a visit and the weather it be for a family outing or for a romantic picnic. The food is excellent and it comes served on a piping hot plate....what a pleasure.

Parent heaven and kid paradise. Had a great time. Massive grassy area and jumping castles, and ROCKPOOL!! Take the kids swimsuits. Eating area very cosy and shaded. Loved it.

Great place great atmosphere the food was good. My husband had the feast black bord and it was good. Our waiter was helpful but not very well informed about the menu he was probably in training. The other waiters made up for it though. The only criticism we were a table of 2 and they added a 12% gratuity to the bill without our consent. I feel they should make. People aware that the gratuity will be automatically charged. I generally dont have a issue if told ahead of time. Will definitely be back

Had mothersday lunch at restaurant. Overpriced on the food for the mothersday feast. Almost R400 per person for a shared plate of food. And to top that, 5 out 5 adults had upset stomachs since then . Won’t see me again. Was sincerely ripped off with lingering after effects.

We went for the mother’s day feast, at R375 per head. Total rip off, very little food. I wouldn’t pay R100 for what I got. 5 Adults ended up with upset tummies. Not my ideal way to spend mother’s day, or any other day for that matter. Disappointed. Will not return.

Went for a wedding. Im from Stellenbosch and never hear of this place! Location is gorgeous and service was outstanding! Building inside was breathtaking! But wait! The food! The FOOD! Wow! Out of this world amazing! Will sooooo be back soon!

Lovely setting. Sat outside under the trees. Food delicious and different. Very friendly waiters. Lots for children to do - paddle pool, sandpit, jumping castle, lots of lawn to run around. Went on a Sunday had a super time.

Had the black board feast for lunch. Lovely outside seating. Food well prepared and very tasty. Love the vintage plates... Professional and friendly from booking to receiving to serving us !

We recently held our wedding at Towerbosch and it was phenomenal! The venue is simply gorgeous and the food is delicious! Everything was handled and planned so well by all the staff but in particular Marquerite. She was amazing, so friendly and patient with all our requests and questions. It really made planning our wedding a wonderful experience.

The Sunday Set Menu was really delicious and I liked that they served the dishes for each person to dish on their own.They have a little swimming pool for children to cool off in and the most wonderful outdoor seating setup under the trees.The only improvement they could make is to add a little changing room outside near the pool for wet children as the bathroom floors and toilet seats were wet due to children that needed to change and there was also nowhere to change my 4mnt old babys diaper, which was both sad and frustrating especially since they are in some ways trying to attract family groups.

Definitely worth its best country restaurant in the Western Cape rating. Meals perfection - as of you are eating at home!

We had an excellent Easter Sunday lunch at Towerbosch. Perfectly done lamb shanks, potatoes and salads, all served sharing style (which is great as you can take as much or as little as you please). Our waiter was very helpful and the kids were kept busy paddling in the shallow pool.
