Easily one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever visited. Prime location, can be easily spotted, amazing sitting spacing, decor was excellent, service was top-notch, starters to main course - each and every dish was delicious and great ... love how Indian culture is promoted through art, paintings, info in menu and of course the amazing food. This is a must-visit !!!

If you are looking for good quality Indian cuisine, then this is the spot to stop at; also I know how traditional Indians who are vegetarians, battle to find a restaurant that can cater for them - This one makes all the traditional Indian vegetarian dishes. The lighting is stunning but the decor is nothing to write home about. However the service is phenomenal, the staff are friendly and just wanna keep feeding you.....(true Indian style).

Great Indian food, clean environment and friendly waiters.

Please dont buy anything from this fake shop. The food is really bad. Trust me. Im Indian and know what Indian food should taste like. Staff are unprofessional and lack communication skills. The Department of Health should pay them a visit. I think there was a change in management some time ago and the standards have dropped drastically.

We were served a medium hot bite with sauce in a tot glass. With hot coffee/capucinos & freshly made aloo paratha. Delicious.

Still a very good option. I ordered Paneer Tikka and Romali roti. The Paneer Tikka here is decent, very flavorful, doesn’t have that tangy taste that you want but the next time I’ll try the Paneer Makhj and we’ll see. The Romali Roti is exactly what I wanted. My guests were also happy with their choice. One of the better Indian restaurants in Northern Jhb.

Honestly the best curry Ive ever had! Had the vegetarian samosas and the dal makhani. Sooo tasty and piping hot. The service is super friendly and helpful with advise on what dish to try. Its not cheap but my word is it worth it. There is also ample parking at the shopping center with security guards. Definitely going to be heading back often🤩🇿🇦

Just loved eating here.... I have never had such delicious Indian food. Recommend it to everyone. We went as a group of 10 people, and yet the order came out well and with nothing to fault! Great veg and non-veg options too... Their toasted almond ice cream is so yumm!!!!! The restaurant is open and bright. Will definitely be going back soon!

The food quality has certainly declined from the last time we ordered. This used to be our go to Indian restaurant. We wont come back. The food was bland and stale.Both curries were tasteless and the naan bread hard and stale.

I have always been a big fan of Indian cuisine and Vikrams is certainly a restaurant that I will rate at the very top. The food is astounding, and has so much flavour that you might never want to eat anything else ever again. The staff is friendly and prompt. This is a place worthwhile to go out of your way to try more than once.

Good was good however the service was the worst I have ever experienced in Johannesburg. Waiters were quite rude to the manager. After our mains our waiter was no where to be seen. The manager was falling asleep on one of the booth seats, a waiter was laying on a seat at the kitchen entrance occupied on his cellular phone. Given it was a very quite day but poor service is poor service.

I ordered a Chicken Biryani and Rice Pudding from Uber eats on the 30th of November @ 08:30pm, order number #4A4A3. When I woke-up in the morning on Sunday the 1st of December Ive had terrible stomach cramps and now the DR says I have gastro caused by food poisoning. Pity as I enjoyed the food and recently moved to the area. I was only person sick as others ordered Pizza as I felt like Indian food.

Absolutely shocking service. We mistakenly ordered twice as there was a miscommunication. Within 4 minutes of ordering the second order we asked to cancel- he said the orders are not made to order and thus it was already ready and we have to pay for the same order twice! Very disappointing as we order food once a week from them!
