Absolutely appalling service received from Adega Express Sandton...been 6 days with no resolution to my order . Apparently manager will provide feedback after prayer/fasting.....disgusted, will never set foot in one of my most favorite restaurants, if not the best.

We thought that we having a night out at Adega New Redruth. However there was an unfortunate turn of events. The prawns were overcooked to which we brought to attention of the manager. That was dealt with, but whilst having our supper the dessert was offered because we were told that the kitchen was going to close. At half past 9 tonight the bill was put on the middle of the table whilst we were EATING! So now we pay the bill and we are wondering of we are not allowed to be at Adega on a Friday night OR is this place quarter to closing down? I have never been treated as like this, it was extremely unprofessional. I have been to this establishment before and this has never happened. It was very disappointing.

I have recently placed an Order at Adega fordsburg and I was extremely disappointed with the service provided. I spoke to the owner who showed no concern at all. How do you run a restaurant without showing any concern to your customers?? #HelloPeter

Purchased a groupon, we only realised at the restaurant the groupon had to be printed. Immediately spoke to assistant manager to get some sort of assistance. He said we could not email the groupon to him nor was the printer working which is a joke for a restaurant as big as Adega. My partner drove at 7pm that evening to work to print the voucher as he was adamant he would not even confirm our order until she arrived even though I waited at Adega, she got back at 8 the order came 30 minutes later the prawns were bitter. I am absolutely disgusted with the poor pathetic service we have received and the way in which were treated by the assistant manager. We will never go back to Adega and make it a point to tell everyone we know of the lack of professionalism, service and courtesy. It is unacceptable for any customer to have gone through what we did and it is appalling that instead of possibly coming to some sort of solution their only option was for us to find a place to print out the voucher when all you really require is the voucher code on the app/email as the groupon is already paid for. Partner emailed Randburg and Head office 2 weeks ago still waiting for a response!

I walked out of your Rivonia Adega branch today and will never ever patronise an Adega Restaurant again................. I am sure you would like to know why!!!!!!!!!!!On Saturday evening, 11th October,2014, I visited your establishment with my partner to enjoy a plate of Hake and Chips. I was told by the waiter that I could not have it as it was only served during the day on Mondays to Fridays at a cost of R38.00 I thought this rather strange and asked that my request be put to the manager. The manager did not even grace me with his presence and I was told that I could not have Hake and chips. I accepted this and went on to have your very expensive Panga and chips @ R120.00 (Ocean basket charges R48.00 for this.Today I went to your restaurant again to have the Hake and chips that I was refused on Saturday. WELL CAN YOU IMAGINE MY DISBELIEF when I was told that you dont serve this dish anymore!!!! totally FLABBERGASTED I again asked to see the manager.............. and would you believe it ....... he actually came to see me. Again I was told that they do not serve Hake and chips anymore. At this point I lost my sense of humour and told him what I thought of his restaurant.We left and went to the Ocean Basket and enjoyed their Hake and chips together with the attention of a very friendly waiter and manager!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Would you like to guess where I will be going in future for Hake and chips?????????Good Bye.Colin Filippa
