Excellent value for money. Great food. Excellent location, in the heart of Bryanston. Improvements on Covid adherence required though. Waiters not wearing masks properly and we had to request our table to be sanitized. Will definitely return. Keep it up.

Always an amazing experience! My husband and I go there once a week and its always lovely. The service is really good with very attentive waiters. The food is just to die for... our favorite is the whole chicken. Its a nice big portion and always cooked so that its nice and juicy. The prawns and fish dishes are also worth a try, cooked perfectly with delicious sauce. They have reduced the size of the restaurant but its nice and cozy now. Would definitely recommend them!

We had the buffet, the food was good and they had covid restrictions in place. Large variety of food and a few dessert were available but after 2pm the food starts to run out. Overall a good lunch/brunch option for the weekend

Our absolute favourite place for lunch. The setting is calm and the manager is always so welcoming. The prawns are the best and has also become my 2 year olds favourite food.

We were pleasantly surprised when we got to the restaurant for lunch on Sunday. A buffet spread of yummy food which consists of about 60% of their menu items for R220 per person incl dessert.Service was good and food delish, better than most Adega’s I have eaten at. Found the cocktails to be extremely sweet and weak though.Highly recommended.

Good meal at a good price but a sad statd of affairs that we were the only people in the restaurant on a working day lunch. I hope that the staff are getting a better basic wage than relying on tips that are non existing.

Excellent service, waiter was so pleasant and obliging. Seafood was very good just the steak was not done to how we wanted it, sent it back. But overall a very good restaurant with good food and service. I would honestly go back there. The waiter was such a friendly, accomodating person who was at our beck and call, always with a smile. Simply love this Adega. It is by far the best branch in Gauteng. The food is prepared to your perfection and they never fail to deliver. Great service from the waitress and manager, who consistently kept checking up on us.

I really enjoyed the food, however there was an item missing in the platter and the service wasnt great. We could almost never find our waiter and the person that happened to tend to us in his absence didnt understand a word we said.

Their Specials menu makes you feel like you want to order everything but the King 👑 of the menu are their king PRAWNS special at a price to suit your appetite and wallet!The staff service is excellent without being overbearing and nothing is too much inconvenience for them.This Adega is my favourite go to restaurant for all occasions.Never had a disappointing meal and only all great food and memories.Keep up with the high standards Adega sometimes soo lacking in others, well done.

Today I ordered a kilo queen prawns, a kilo king prawns and a dozen oyster for collection. The oysters were amazing, not small and tasted fresh but the 2kgs of prawns, over cooked and under seasoned. In a time where we are living in tumultuous circumstances, one would think that when a customer is spoiling themselves on their birthday, with a meal that expensive that it would be done to perfection. I am highly disappointed in your quality of food which has proven to be non value for money and I will think twice about using your services again. Then when trying to post this on your contact page, I am unable to do so because there seems to be an issue with your site.

My husband and I ordered what the waiter recommended King prawn kg special for 2, dissapointed to find that we actually got mixture of king and smaller prawns. It was cleverly served with the king prawns on top but the bottom was smaller prawns. This is a sneaky farce Adega Bryanston..dissapointed! We expect better for coming out to support restaurants during covid times

The food is perfection, you cant go wrong with their Portuguese chicken and prawns. Their poor service, however, lets them down. So much so that even with their great food Id go to another establishment in the franchise

Ordered crayfish. Overcooked and tough. Waitress was phenomenal. We watched her approach the Manager with the uneaten crayfish and he ignored her. We payed the bill and left. Never to return

I have ordered a WHOLE full med peri peri chicken take away on Sunday the 22nd of Nov, if not mistaken. Very disappointing meal, the chicken was cut up, the sauce and the chips were both below standard. I have promoted Adega as thé place for this meal. Now I am not so sure

I had the Queen prawn special...was delish...the only thing I was disappointed about was the garlic I asked for...it was store bought which is not real garlic...as an upmarket restaurant, please supply freshly chopped garlic....thank you for a tastey, nonetheless 🌹

We enjoyed a delicious seafood buffet tonight at R205 a head. The prawns were particularly good with squid and mussels a close second. The typical Portuguese potato chips are my favourite. The service was excellent: the waiters were welcoming, attentive and on hand. The evening was all-round enjoyable.

Convenient location, excellent service and the renowned Adega formula is a good recipe for a great restaurant. Ask the waiter for specials which arent on the menu; we got a quarter chicken for a steal with chips, rice and side salad.

Very friendly welcoming staff. The vibe was good. The food reasonable.Looks like change of management - again! You get the cheapest looking cutlery. And the waiters obviously have not been trained.Otherwise the King prawns did not taste as good as last time. Maybe better to get queen prawns?

We had a group (20+ people) valentines dinner there on the 15th of Feb. The staff was nice but we felt extremely ripped off as we were charged tonnes of money for a basic platter which 4 people shared. Further to that, they charged us for the complementary water they had on the tables when we arrived. Staff was friendly and flavors were OK, but nothing wowed me personally!

Really good food and vibe. They serve a very tasty fish called panga. Order it. You will be happy. They have cocktails and are wheelchair friendly. Its a relaxed environment so it okay to arrive in slip slops or a suit. Awesome.

The place is every bad restaurant cliche there is, bus theres a certain charm in that. And the food is great. Their Portuguese-style chicken is truly epic. So is the creamed spinach. Good food, affordable, lekker.

Have many fond memories of Adega Bryanston from when it was in Bryanston Shopping Centre- sadly it is not the same anymore- made a booking and went on Sunday at 6pm. The store was filthy- all tables that had left has not been cleaned or reset, cutlery lying on the floor, waiter got our simple drinks order of 1 hunters and 1 Stella wrong 4 times, eventually after getting the drink order correct, the waiter opened the hunters with the wrong side of the bottle opener and poured the hunters all over us and the table. The waitors were rude and careless. and the Manager was not managing- surely the presentation of the store as a whole and the waiter staff service is a priority in the business but the manager was not particularly interested. Its a shame
