Generally a quick drive through. Its a minor thing, but its the only Macdonalds I know with a speaker that welcomes you with a really loud, chirpy and pre-recorded voice.Chips are always fresh, which isnt always the case with other branches.

Spoke to Percy at 6:22 and he advised that they only open at 6:30am. It clearly shows 6:15am online. Maybe you guys should change your online times to avoid inconviencing your customers. Especially those on their way to work in the morning..

Only rating it 4 because of construction which slowed down the service but I am always happy with the people serving us.

Hillfox McDonalds have a tendency of changing you for items and not putting the items into you order bag.Those jalapeno dips is R5 each if you order more than 1 like I did and do not receive it, its money stole from a customer. If they steal from 100 customers a day, someone is opening a sauce factory soon.

Service is slow and food is inconsistent. There are no self service ordering machines like other branches. And the the xlarge chips is always half a box, more like medium at an inflated price.

Food is good and fresh, only improvement is flow and waiting time thats needs to be upped, this branch is extremely busy and you always wait ages. They should have preparation times for peak hours to ensure they have a better flow during these times.

Went with my partner to enjoy some chill time. The place was Covid compliant,clean and quite busy. We placed our order and didnt wait very long. Enjoyed the Mcflurry and had a really relaxing time.

The service was extremely bad, intercom not working as cashier didnt switch her headset on and you were just left guessing. When I got to the window she proceeded to ignore me and take the next persons order. Was not happy at all

Worst Mcdonalds around. Drive through messed up my order and once checked again at collection, I asked tk speaker to the manager Tsepiso who assured us the order was correct and checked it again only to get home and find the order incorrect.Incompetent staff to say the least!!!!!!! Will NOT be supporting McDonalds Hillfox again. Pathethic!

I was not impressed by the service we received. We once ordered the large big Mac meal and we where given the regular meal, upon rectifying the issues they gave us large chips and large drink with a small burger that was soggie and cold. Yesterday we received coffee with no sugar and it didnt taste like the salted caramel coffee and when we asked them to fix it they just made a stronger coffee that was not worth it. The chips we ordered were cold and they didnt even put forks in the takeaway bag. I am very disappointed with the service. Incompetence is what I was met with yesterday.

Useless place, cant get a order correct. Check you food, they on 3 occasions have not put the complete order in hoping you do not check.........be aware.

Sometimes the McCafe is not running and with all take away places, They dont put up any signage letting you know.

Currently under construction, drive thru only. Extremely dangerous site, construction fence fell on the car behind me, as the workers just looked!Even for order collection you are forced to sit through the entire drive thru queue. Avoid this branch at all costs during this time!

At times this place is a sorry excuse for fast food. Customers are left standing for long periods and the MrD and Uber drivers are treated badly by management. This is one place I avoid and would rather drive a bit further to Randpark Ridge for better service

Drive thru is slow as usual, nothing new with McDonalds Hilfox but the one thing I hate is rubbery lukewarm chips. Please people we pay for these meals. I stay across the road from you and I get home and feed my family old rubbery yucky chips.. Disappointed..

This morning I went to the McDonalds I asked them to make the salad fresh with no tomato and there was tomato seeds and the juice.Tonight I ordered the same thing with a big mac meal and a chicken foldover. When I got home there was no big mac meal absolutely nothing.

They are renovating and we cant sit down and eat. They didnt put the notice of when they are finishing renovations. I dont like drive thru.

No social distancing. I printed it out to the manager and the reason is that the Uber drivers don’t listen. Then don’t allow them into store and please do screening at the door

I dont know when McDonalds decided that they no longer mix your Mcflurry but they still advertise it mixed... why must I mix my own Mcflurry but I dont get a discount.Maybe Im old fashioned but I want what I pay for & if I have to finish it off myself then the least you can do is gove me a discount

Food fresh n tasty but I always used the drive tru never went in store until last week I was so disturbed to see how dirty the seating area was and it was stinking so bad like the bins were never taken out.

Its lovely, but it gets really crowded must be that its the only one around that area.

What a hassle. I thought fast food was supposed to be fast. Drive through was taking so long that we got out the car to order inside.Absolutely no energy in the kitchen or from any staff for that matter. Could barely get a hello out of the cashier. No tomato sauce available and couldnt be bothered to ask how you want your coffee. Took 45 minutes in total to get our food. Never again Town Square

This McDonalds is very very busy. The service needs to be jacked up to accommodate for there popularity.One that is done they will be worth 5 stars

Great Mcdonalds. There is an entire lounge complete with leather couches and a tv here. It is a very relaxed MacDonalds.They also have a McCafe for cakes and baked items.Lots of comfortable seats.

In a very long time I gave McDonalds Weltevreden Park another opportunity in more than a year. Service was acceptable - the way it should be and expected from an International Brand like McDonalds. Food was fresh and I could actually converse in proper English with a McDonalds staff member.

Ive been there a few times, service isnt bad.However, If you are in hurry, dont use the drive-through, rather go in.I legit tested my theory, after two previous Long waits at the drive through and wondering whether I am being unreasonable I decided to go in the third time.I was behind a certain car in the drive through and decided to go in this time, i went in and by the time I came out, that car just completed their order. Be warned Drive through is slow!

Honestly the worst McDonalds Ive ever been to. Had to wait in the queue for 50 minutes. They got my order wrong, had to go into the store to fix it. Waited another 25 minutes. Got home they only put 1 patty on my mcfeast. Absolutely pathetic service. Would not recommend this McDonalds to anyone.

The people at the drive through have no idea what they are doing. Staff are extremely rude and the lady managing them is even more rude. We know its a fast food outlet but please train your staff on customer service because this was shocking!!!!!!

It is exactly what you would expect of a McDonalds. Which, in my opinion, is one of the strength of this chain. You know beforehand what youll get. No surprises - not pleasant and fortunatwly not unpleasant.

Not my favorite take away but my kids love it. Hillfox was very full on Saturday and we waited half an hour for our food as they usually prioritize drive through customers.

My timing was probably off as I got to the store after 7:30, what annoyed me was your staff refused to tell those waiting for their orders to wait to the side so that others like myself waiting in line could place their orders. Admittedly was hectic even chaotic hence my ratings. Could have been a more pleasant experience.

I could never understand how McDs will make you wait, if one has ordered a dessert item. I mean you wait a whole 20 - 30 min for a couple of McFlurrys or Frappe? KFC or Steers doesnt make you wait for dessert, you order, pay and receive.

Drive through is pathetic. Never have I waited so long. Management needs to have a word with their staff. Honestly this use to be one of the best. I suggest going to the one on Ondtdekkers.

I have used the drive thru a few times lately, as they are conveniently situated near the 14th avenue N1 off ramp. The food is very tasty and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is that they are very slow. Be prepared to switch your vehicle on and off in order to preserve fuel.

Just a McDonalds. They didnt include any sauce the last time I ordered. I only ever go here if Im desperate for something to eat and this particular McDonalds is right along a great route towards or from the west.
