Staff are overworked and it shows. Prices have gone up way too much, wont be returning.

Very overpriced for very disappointing food. For the price of their takeaways, one would expect their food to be on par with name brand fast food outlets. I will rather take the drive to Nonos bakery and takeaway in Claremont for a better experience. R92 for a poorly made dagwood compared to R50 elsewhere.

Everyone there are so nice and sweet. The prices arent so bad as others places and they always have what I want.

The cashiers there are unbelievably rude and expect you to know how everything works as soon as you walk into the shop. Terrible service. And the whatsapp line where I tried to contact them just left me on read and ignored me. Whats the point of advertising the number if they dont bother responding. Would not recommend this place.

I found TJs on a google search and thought Id give them a try. Wasnt far from my home and I like to try local businesses. When I walked in, though it was a very nice setup and seemed to have nice products. Being my first time, I went to the take away counter to order. I looked at the menu and ordered the cheese burger and added chips. The man advised that I go to the till to pay which I did, got there and the young lady at the counter was not very friendly, treated as if I should know, walking in for the first time, how their business works. She seemed annoyed that I went to take away counter and told me very sternly that I MUST order at the till. I explained to her that it was my first time here and apologized. I felt that she was annoyed that I was there to order food. I was then told to go wait in my car until my food was ready. Cant comment for the other products in the store as I did not get a chance to see them as I was sent out of the store. Chips were great, burger was ok, overall portion was good. Will consider trying them again.

Buns are excellent! Twise now that I have ordered and I was very dissatisfied. Old oil must have been used today and last week. It did taste is the chips is left overs from yesterday. When I placed my order I did ask is the oil is fresh! Wont reccomend take aways to anyone

Ordered food and waited over an hour only to find out my order was never placed. DO NOT waste your time. Very dissapointing. Needless to say, I went home hungry.

Wow. For a corner cafe the service here is excellent. Lauryn a cashier there is friendly and helpful.The take always are good value for money and tasty.The freshly baked rolls from the bakery are delicious. Order ahead cos they are sold out very fast.

TJs is the coolest convenient store just off Ontdekkers. They stock all sorts of fresh baked breads, fresh fruits, snacks, tea/ coffee and other odds and ends. They also have a take away service in the store which I highly recommend! Their burgers, toasties and slap chips are so yummy! :)
