Had a great lunch at Benguela Blue recently. They do this eggplant stack that is just amazing, their daily line fish specials are great too and their wine selection is local to the west coast. We especially loved that.

Great food at good prices. We had Chicken livers and seafood platter. Patato wedges were also very good. Chrispy with soft inside.

People with beautiful hearts who welcomed our very loud sausage dogs with open arms, when we decided to stop for breakfast. Friendly staff and excellent service. Breakfast and the view was amazing. Customers for life now.

What an authentic west coast gem: the view of the lagoon, die kom cottages, tranquility of the setting and then the cuisine arrives: value for money. It is even worthwhile driving there from Cape Town to spend a leisurely lunch and meander the surroundings by foot

Can recommend their craft beer from Darling and west coast craft gin Night Shade. Both enjoyed with very tasty seafood snack platter. Snoek samoosas in particular great.

What a lovely atmosphere and incredible experience we had at Benguela Blue. No one can come close to their excellent food and their warm service. A must if you ever come to Paternoster. Thank you Ockert and Ruan for the best time. I will be back soon

Really disappointed in this restaurant. Service was very slow in the semi empty restaurant and the food was cold by the time it came to our table. Management is alright but wont come here during the busy seasons

The food and service was great here! Liam, aged 10 (read: always hungry boy) loved his hamburger! Hubby and I both had steak- cooked to perfection. The view over the cottages are so relaxing. This truly made our visit to South Africa a memorable experience!

We had a very tasty meal at this restaurant. I had their catch of the day, Yellowtail, which was delicious and well prepared with a very interesting and tasty carrot puree. Calamari and a Pulled Chicken Burger were the other main meals at our table, all thoroughly enjoyed. Service was excellent.

The board outside advertised vegetarian options but the menu didnt align. Chips are cooked in the same oil as the fish so was off the cards. My son ended up with a double portion of crumbed mushrooms (seven mushrooms in total) which were under cooked. He didnt leave as a happy customer. The pulled chicken burger was OK.

Food not really worth the price you are paying. I ordered a beef burger and it came with no sauce. It was very dry and I was not given the option of a sauce. I put tomato sauce on it. The calamari was also pretty sub-par. On the plus side, the Thai prawn (literally only one) and chicken was delicious.

Randy the waitress was very pleasant and sweet,Ocky the owner came to chat to us the restaurant is a reflection of his chilled,fresh,funtional and upmarket nature.Tx for accomodating the kids with the chips and bacon bits which was never part of the menu.
