We stayey in the wooden cottage and the dam had water.My dad and I really enjoyed the bird life.This place has everything you need for a quick getawayWe sat for hour watching the sunrise and set, birds comining and going and mountains turning all the shades of blue.

What a magnificent place! Stayed at one of the stone cottages at Soetdoring and we were absolutely stunned with the beauty and amazing accommodation!Well done to the owners of this jewel of a place ... we will certainly come back for another (longer) stay!

The cottages are amazing and the whole team was very friendly. We enjoyed the time at the guest farm very much.

First impressions are great, friendly staff, the place looks great, love the Karoo atmosphere. We are in one of the wood cabins, its lovely!

Though we only had a 2 nights stay - we enjoyed it very much. Very nice staff, excellent food, great breakfast and a very nice room with veranda.

Where there for just one night but could feel like beeing at home from the first second. The service is so friendly and the lodges are breathtaking and very spacious designed. The Wifi is TOP!

Exceptional room, nice grounds (maybe a little rough around the area edges due to drought) with a very nice dining experience right on site. A good gateway to the Meerkat experience which is surprisingly wonderful.

Hotel is very nice. The rooms were beautiful and the view was impressive from the balcony. Food in the restaurant was shocking though. Maybe go into town for a meal. You get a discount with the meercats walk but not much and you dont need to stay here if you do want to go on the meercats walk. Staff were ok.

The cottages were amazing and staff was friendly BUT 2/5 got food poisoning!

Beautiful chalets made of wood or stone. Rather rustic, simple and functional. From the terraces you can enjoy a beautiful view over a glass of sherry (the bottle is ready to hand on the table). Food is served in the main house about 2 km away. There is also a swimming pool and a bar.

Whenever you think its not getting better, but it works, as we could see at Zeekoe. Very friendly, we had a sensational cabin, in a great location. It was a dream

The wooden huts are about 1 km from the main house and are fully equipped. However, they cool down a lot at night, so you have to keep the very loud air conditioning running. Our chimney did not move very well, so we had to ventilate additionally. The heating effect was gone. Everything very rustic. In theory there is a lake on the porch side. Since it is currently super dry, nothing came of the kayak tour.At night you can see the stars very well from here. No light pollution!The dinner was very tasty, but it took a long time, despite the mandatory pre-order. Breakfast even included scrambled eggs from the bouquet. Delicious. The service was friendly and helpful.The meerkat observation tour was great. We took a visit to an ostrich farm with us. Interesting but also more touristy.
