Great location (center of town), friendly staff and good value for money

Warmth, hospitality and friendliness... I forgot my precious diamond encrusted cross shaped pendant on a chain on the bedside table in our room. We went back 3 months later and it was locked up in their safe. WOW... thats just unheard of. Thank you Turnberry staff for your honesty. We will be back.

From the moment you arrive you feel welcome.. The most friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very nice Bar/pub on site and and a very good breakfast is served. We had a very enjoyable stay over Chritmas weekend. Thanks to Niel and his staff.

I paid in advance for staff on training. Meals not taken and two rooms were cancelled in advance. After requesting an amended invoice for a week I received an invoice with bumped up room prices to balance my payment. I complained and the reservations manager was arrogant and the owner unreachable. I was informed that no refund will be made. The worst experience with terrible customer service ever.

Friendly staff, but R30 for a bottle or water and smokey smelling room was not that great for the price you pay...

Rooms were excellent. Cleaning & restaurant staff were very helpful in all possible ways. The only problem I had was with the reception staff. They clearly had very little training and could not even help in organising a simple Christmas lunch. I was seriously disappointed.

To all travellers…This is probably the best facility I have ever stayed at !! I am an executive with a large corporate organisation within South Africa and I travel and stay at different hotels and guest houses very frequently. This can become a very irritating affair if you are at a different place every second day… I cannot remember when last I received such excellent service from an establishment, well done Turnberry Oudtshoorn !!!! The room was five star, the personnel were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful, the breakfast excellent - thanks to Anna and your kitchen staff. They even provide a free shuttle service to one of the best restaurants in Oudtshoorn: The Black Swan.I would like to single out a few of their staff members: the receptionist Candice, Andre the night porter and Henrico the know-it-all music bar man, I salute you all!!!!Kobus van Vuuren

O hotel é vendido como Hotel Boutique, quando cheguei, as 21hs o portão estava fechado e o recepcionista descalço e usando roupas casuais. O mesmo me informou que não tinha TV a cabo e WIFI. Aceitamos por conta do horário. Ficamos no quarto K11, um quarto família com cama de casal e um sofá. O banheiro após o banho fica inteiro Molhado. O quarto na era limpo a dias, uma vez que tudo tinha pó. Creio ser sim um excelente hotel, porém está descuidado. Falta limpeza interna e nas áreas externas. É uma pena. Sobre o café da manhã foi nos recomendado ter fora do local, uma vez que o mesmo era a parte e tinha que ser reservado antes. Uma pena o local estar abandonado.

The best in the village.

Comfortable and modern rooms. With free coffee service in the room. Good breakfast from 7 to 10. Parking included within the complex, open until 11pm. You can eat at the hotel with a reservation or have a drink in your bar. The location is very good: two blocks away are all restaurants, keep in mind that they remain open until 9:00 pm (some may be extended until 10 pm). The kindness of its people makes the difference. Definitely a very good option.

Room ok, but quite small, outdated and noisy. Beds very hard and uncomfortable. Bath outdated but shower is great. No possibility to hang towels. Small pool. Staff was ok. Original African braai (barbecue) is a good idea, but I find it a bit expensive at around 18 € / person. Breakfast is ok. In my opinion it is more a 3 * than a 4 * hotel. The location in the center is optimal.
