Great value for money. Very fresh mussels cooked in an amazing sauce. The hake was also amazing. Friendly waiter. Would definitely recommend it.

It took 35 min for my order to come, there was noone there. But it did taste good, even though it was raw... 35 min for a raw toasted sandwich..... 😂

We had to pop in during our family weekend away, and we were very pleased with the service. We really enjoyed the pizza, great taste and amazing quality.

Staff were quite friendly but there was hardly any food available, we were only offered pizza as hake options. No beer on tap, no kiddies menu. Food was okay (bit too oily) but for the price, more expensive than the fancier restaurant down the road so not really value for money. We were disappointed to waste and evening out here.

Weve only stopped for a beer before sunset. In the bar they have two types of tap beer and some bottled beer. The area is so nice, with good music! And on saturdays weve been told that they make braai in the afternoon! Service was very good also. Wouldnt go there specially, but Id recommend it for a quick stop before or after sunset!

Worst pizza Ive ever had. Not fresh at all, way too much cheese. Ham was out of a can. Its a shame to call this an Italian pizza!

We stayed in the area for a week and chose to eat at Nautical South on 3 occassions. (Impressive considering we walked out on 2 other restaurants due to poor service).The food was absolutely delicious and very well presented. 5 star quality and presentation on a 3 star budget. The daily specials are an epic success. The staff (Thabu and Lilly) were absolutely amazing. Very friendly and efficient. Thank you guys. Next time we are in the area Nautical South will be our first stop!!!

This is where the locals go for a drink, a chat and food. Very good food for reasonable prices (we had burgers). Friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere, there is even a playground for children.

Absolutely awesome place to have a meal, food was sensational...a definite must if youre in the area. Fantastic pizzas, ribs and burgers...a big thank you to Rosie for looking after our vegetarian needs...Ill definitely be back.

This restaurant has recently changed owners for the worse, i do not recommend this restaurant to anyone because of the poor service and the poor menu items :for your information you cannot order pizzas that are out of their special pizza menu, you cannot even order a simple margherita pizza as this is too far complicated for their chefs (they are probably frozen pizzas as for my concern). the only good thing about this restaurant is the SHOP that is open even over 8PM and sells :milk, eggs ,drinks ,miscellaneous ,other foods ,ice cream , cigarettes......So in conclusion i DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant ; except if you forgot something on your grocery list.

Cozy, warm and friendly! Love the smooth atmosphere! Brilliant choice of old time classical music! And to be able to sit barefoot with your toes dug into the sea-sand is unbeatable! Even natures little wild animals come visiting making the visit here an ahhh, look at that moment! Unforgettable! Foodwise, the chefs thin pizza base is incredible....crispy, flavoured and the toppings are generous from the edge to the centre...excellent!

Well positioned restaurant in Brenton on Sea. Food was okayish. A little overpriced for pizza’s compared to other well known restaurants in Knysna, based on quality of the pizza we had. R120 for a VERY average pizza with very few toppings. Disappointed, as we made a booking...Restaurant wasn’t busy at all and not a bad experience... but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Vlooi the owner is an amazing host and the staff know what they are doing. Its a 5 mins away from one of Knysnas most famous beaches Brenton ON Sea. The food is delicious and drinks are cheap

The food is excellent but the service is terrible. I always think I should support the local restaurant in a small town but for the second time now, the wait for simple food like fish n chips and pizza has been over an hour. There were only 4 tables occupied in the restaurant so being over-busy is not even an excuse. A pity.

Absolutely shocking. no service for 15 minutes. sitting there, everybody walks past nobody even askes if we are helped. then when we go inside we are told that the kitchen is closed at 12:00 - Ummm its lunch time you have 4 other tables sitting eating... You will not make it im this town if this is how you treat locals....
