The 1 bed suite is amazing for a couple looking to relax, unwind and reset away from the bustle of the daily grind. We didnt want to leave! The views are breathtaking and the benefit of the suite is a spacious bedroom and bathroom incl. a soaking tub. Kitchenette equipt with essentials and a lovely braai and deck area. Convenient access to the beach as well.

Excellent experience but should have more variety on the menu. The shop should have milk and basic stuff for people to use in the apartment as there are no shops near by. All other hotels have basic stuff and emergency stuff for babies and kids. The staff friendly and food is excellent.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff are amazing. Brenton on sea is one of the most beautiful places in South Africa.

I was there for 2 nights during covid. The staff were nice and check-in time was quick. Unfortunately restaurant was closed because of lockdown level 4 but there was pastry shop that you can buy some cakes. The view was amazing! Lovely place

Allison at reception was amazing! Checking was definitely on point. Unexpectedly, I got a complimentary upgrade to a three bedroom apartment when my booking was for a one bedroom. This was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel itself is top notch with the best sea views( including white waters)....listening to the waves splashing against the cliff was just so therapeutic! The finishes of this hotel are five star level.....best hotel in Brenton on Sea

Stunning views and constant sound of the ocean. Exceptionally clean and well equipped kitchen. Well equipped gym aswell. Ive never been a self catering person but this place has changed my mind. Thank you Nolo for your hospitality.

A very special place on the South African coast. This hotel is in the perfect position, as close to the beach as one can get without getting wet. Rooms and restaurant are top notch and they enhance the experience. Get to Brenton - on - Sea and Brenton Haven for the holiday of a lifetime...

Great location and very well furnished and comfortable. Bed was not the best though. Neat and with and amazing restaurant. Had a good view slightly offset by it being partially obscured by the restaurant and being above the backdoor of the cocktail area that removed any privacy. Most of the staff were very friendly. Very pleasant stay.

We cancelled our planned stay for January 2021 due to the country wide closure of beaches. I therefore cannot comment on the resort and sorroundingsHowever, I must stress the professional handling of the cancellation including a full refund of our deposit. This is not a given in this difficult times. Thanks again to Allison and the Management for this!

Brenton Haven Beachfront Resort is the best place to not only to go for holiday, but we got married here on the 26st of Nov 2020.The staff is remarkable! From the reservations manager to each and every staff member. Our room was so clean, and the resort is so well managed! The staff is so friendly and helpful, they feel like family!There is no words to describe how great this place is! Great sea views from the rooms, Butterfly Blu restaurant and Indigo deli is the go to place for food, with a spectacular sea view! An endless and beautiful beach to see as you enjoy your meal my the fireplace. The locals are so hospitable. A worthwhile stop for a night or three or four or.....The food is out of this world. Had tempura seafood, like nothing Id had before. Decently priced too. The cheesecake at the coffee shop, is to die for!

Our family of 6 stayed at Brenton on Haven Resort last month, November 2018. We REALLY enjoyed this beautiful property. Our self-catering condo was so comfortable and the views from the balcony fabulous- we even saw whales in the mornings. One night we got charcoal and made our own dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay really pleasant. We can highly recommend this property- for us it was a 3 day stay which gave us some restful days between a busy time in Cape Town and vicinity and the second leg of our trip on safari in Botswana. We are from the USA.

The most spectacular ocean view! Loved it!

I am very much satisfied with the services here. Everything is available, beautiful rooms, every amenities. There is a beautiful restaurant adjacent to the resort, tasty food & ambience.I didn’t liked the behaviour of the reception staff, I had to wait 20 mins in reception as she was talking & joking with her friend over the phone. I was annoyed that she kept a customer waiting for such long time.

Spacious room with breathtaking Ocean view. Very comfortable bed with great size. Water pressure is constantly changing and too low for a good shower. Staff seems to be allowed to use the Gym as well and doesnt do so properly.

Visited end of November17 with wife & 2.5 yo. Perfect time as just before the Dec rush & on for whale watching. Absolutely loved it. A bit of a drive from town but the secluded position on a strip of beautiful coastline was exactly what we were after. Staff were super friendly & always with a genuine smile. Only 1 (very good) restaurant with beautiful views of the beach & sunset, a nice deli for coffee, cakes, s.wich etc. 2 bed Villa was perfect - Bright and a feeling of space. No bath as rather small bathrooms but we got by with the showers. Fully stocked in terms of utensils/ cooking equip + a built in BBQ on the deck. Had an amazing time me - Thank you everyone who made our stay such a welcome one.

Brenton on Sea is the best place to stay in Knysna. Its relaxed and the sea is so close. We always stay at Brenton on Heaven and our experience is always superb. Unit 10, 11 & 12 are the best. The units are clean and comfortable. We love pork belly & Pizza; so make sure you book a table at Butterfly restaurant. 🌹

We went for a drink late afternoon. Lovely place to enjoy the view and relax. (Although it was nice and chilly the whole place was warmed by a fire. Also creating a great atmosphere.) Mandy was very friendly while serving us and made the experience even better.

Absolute beautiful restaurant and view over the sea. Decor is exquisite. Food is quite expensive. Coffee from Pause Coffee Roastery was of outstanding quality. The waiter told us that the pizza oven was still being prepared but we could order pizza after 20 minutes. Very pleasant experience.

Second time here. Very nice accommodation. They are very welcoming especially a guy called Nkosi at the reception. What a champ.We stayed there for 8 days over Christmas.My only disappointment (big disappointment) was that we could not have Christmas lunch at the restaurant. It really does not make sense that the restaurant prioritizes walk ins instead of people staying with them. We had to book as other hotels for Christmas lunch.The lady doing the Christmas bookings at Butterfly Blu definitely not a people ‘s person.

Absolutely in love with this place. The views, the food, the accommodation! If it werent for beautiful ocean with easy accessability I would have stayed in bed the whole day, so comfy! All the staff are kind hearted people who you can see has a lot of pride for their work!

Btw they also have a lovely restaurant, food is incredible and service also! Staff at the hotel were impeccable at all stages. So friendly and attentive. Recommended! Close to a wonderful beach, expansive accommodation ( self catering) but has a first class restaurant attached and a deli for breakfast. Dolphin watching from our balcony and wonderful views. Stay here rather than in Knysna I would suggest.

A beautiful location, outside the hustle of Knysna, with a fantastic untouched (blue flag) beach.Very large apartments/ villa which were great value.

Its just superb!! The views, hotel staff, its services, the beach(blue flag beach). The approach to the place is wonderful. A little far off from the Knysna City, but would recommend to stay here.
