Being locals we never went here so we thought we give it ago and man what a gem the service was fantastic/ family run restaurant but everyone one well spoken and polite! The food was full of flavour and was delicious! Will be definitely coming back soon! Overall a fantastic dinner 😎😀

A beautiful gem on the Garden Route! The owner, Angela, is the sweetest lady and a very attentive host. The food was amazing, very affordable and the panang curry was absolutely delicious! We would definitely come again. They also have some pretty interesting desserts such as fried ice cream and chocolate spring roll

Amazing warm and personal service! The food exceeded our expectations! We tried the sushi and green and red curries - which were all very very delicious! I dont usually eat curries, but these were really amazing! Weve been there twice and never really had to wait long for our food. Must try this hidden gem!

If you in Knysna/ Plett or near by. Do yourself a favour and have a meal here. The food is fresh and delicious. Staff are super friendly, it seems to be family run. The chicken cashew is amazing.

This is a takeaway only joint (not sure if it was dine in pre-covid 19). It has amazing vegetarian options. We got spring rolls, veggie panang curry, and a veggie pad thai. The owner was super friendly and the food was ready quickly. We were staying at a hotel and it was such a delicious casual meal. I highly recommend!

Another great meal from the Thai Eatery! Angela and her staff are all so friendly and caring – they even remembered my dietary requirements! The dishes are hearty and flavoursome, and the bill always surprises me by being so affordable compared to lost places in Knysna. Ill definitely be back again soon ❤

From all the places to eat in Knysna, go here. Could not wish for a more friendly staff and service. Our starters were excellent and our main dish was amazing. Just how a great Thai place should be. Skip all the mediocre eating places at the harbour and go here.

Wow the food is even better than in Thailand. Very friendly owners, a husband and wife team who takes pride in preparing the food. Cosy restaurant that serves generous helpings. I recommend this restaurant and from me a 10.Thank you for a lovely evening. Will be back for sure 😊😊😊

Loved the food and will be back to try the good selection of dishes. Only negative point was the long wait to get the service for initial drinks. I really dont mind waiting for food on a busy day, but get the drinks order from us as soon as we are seated and deliver them.

Thai food at its best. The portions are large and reasonably priced. The taste is authentic and an experience to be had. It is a family run restaurant and so it exudes love and great service. The selection includes yummy appetizers, filling mains and decadent desserts. They have a wine list to complement the food or other non alcoholic beverages and tea. The atmosphere is intimate and romantic, but not to stiff to exclude a family dinner. They are open from Monday to Saturday from 3pm. I would recommend it to anyone.👌

To echo comments made by previous reviewers, this place is a gem! Great food, excellent service, lovely ambience (smart, cosy, casual) and, the icing on the cake, incredibly well priced. Our group of five all left wonderfully well satisfied and will definitely return if in the area. There just arent many places that score so well across the board.

Delicious Thai food and the sweetest service :)What a treat this was and an amazing price point! The value is through the roof!We had the pork dumplings, Thom Kha Kun, chicken satay, duck in red curry and chicken cashew stir fry and all dishes were perfect with the right amount of spice. Equally amazing was the service, the Thai boss lady explained the menu well and made sure we had the best experience possible! Highly recommended!!

Me and my wife have been traveling thought many cities and stop 2 days here. Decided to give a shoot on this Thai restaurant and it was one of the best foods weve had. Super recommend!

We randomly came upon this place because the restaurant we were looking for was already closed at 9:30 pm on Sunday (despite being marked as open on Google Maps!). We are so glad we did!The restaurant is run by a very nice family and we were immediately greeted by the son who instantly made us feel extremely welcome, despite coming in so late on a Sunday.We got the only open table in the place (always a good sign) and were quickly greeted by the daughter in her absolutely enchanting South African accent (to us as Americans 😊).The beer and water came quickly, the spring rolls were crispy on the outside, warm and delicious on the inside.Our noodles and stir fries tasted outstanding - the veggies were the perfect texture, not too hard, not too soft. We also had an avocado California Roll which didnt disappoint (to be fair, not the absolute best sushi Ive had in the world, but still very yummy).All in all an outstanding experience and then the best part: the check! Our bill came to under 500 Rand for 3 people with drinks, starters and mains!We left 600 Rand and left with leftovers having enjoyed an excellent meal.Whenever were in Knystna, well be sure to eat here.

What a wonderful family run business. The Kingclip stir fry in a red curry sauce is definitely a winner meal and the warm welcome from the owner and her charismatic son was so heart warming. I would highly recommend this establishment to all visiting Knysna.

Food is amazing and the staff are welcoming. Service is excellent.

Super tasty and large portions at affordable prices. One of my favorites to take home and enjoy.

Food was excellent however the wait on the food was unbearable. It took 2 hours for our main course to arrive with a break an hour in for starters. If you go its worth enquiring on the wait as it was the volume of their take away business that delayed things to much. With such tasty cheap food they are becoming a victim of their own success.

Me and my girlfriend decided to take a trip to Knysna, personally the most beautiful place i have stayed at especially Thesen island however the food we received at the Thai Eatery Restaurant was littrally the worst asian food i have tasted. Usually i love eating at various simply asias thai and chinese restaurants. But this one was unfortunately a bad experience. The noodles were too soft. The food lacked soy sauce the, the veggies where over cooked and smelt unpleasant. Personally if you visit Knysna stick to places you can trust such as KFC, Steers, Debonnaires.

Excellent, all dishes freshly made to order, incuding the spring rolls. Authentic Thai cuisine, a slightly hidden gem, I would say one of Knysnas best restaurants. Opposite the waterfront at the robots, so easiest to park in the waterfront parking lot.
