The food and atmosphere is wonderful. The waiters are full off life and are enjoying what they are doing. It is such a refreshing difference to the rest of Knysna. I would highly recommend it to anyone. It is family friendly with probably the best pizza this side of Italy.

I love this Italian restaurant. Sitting in the garden sipping a delicious cup of coffee is a perfect experience.

Good food just wish management and waiters would stick to the mask rules and keep their mask on at all times above the nose... Luckily I can see in the kitchen and can confirm they are following mask procedures.Would have gone more during the pandemic if they just used masks as theyre supposed to.If you cant wear them all day for some reason then hire someone who can.

We were recommended to try Cafe Mario for pizza so we ordered the Carnarvo pizza for takeaway...usually you would get slices of meat and veggies etc... However all meat and veggies were diced and placed on the pizza...so the end result was minimal topping and a very hungry client... Am not sure about the other meals but the pizza was not that good... Better pizzas were had at 34 south ND other pizza places in Knysna...

Marios has been a family favourite for over 10 years - and we have returned from not living in Knysna and visited Marios 3 times over 4 days. The food is always absolutely fantastic. The place was packed, seems to be a favorite for locals and visitors alike. And despite the large number of people, the service was quite fast. Had a pizza, one of the best Ive had in a v long time. My husband had the pasta, also v nice! My mouth is watering at the memory, will definitely be visiting again next time were in Knysna.

Not part but close to the main waterfront. It has good parking as its not part of a mall and is wheelchair accessible. The food great and fast which is surprising for the type of restaurant. If you want a relaxing lunch or dinner out of the busy parts of town this restaurant is perfect.

Found this awesome place for breakfast, Luigi breakfast is amazing if you love pesto. Choc cake great too...best is the coffee!!!! And an authentic Italian place playing Italian music,love me some Eros Ramazotti!!! Their pizzas smelled sooo good too! Will definitely need to come back!!!

Best pizza in town!

Considering they had recently moved to a new location, service seems to run smoothly. Our server was very friendly. The selection on the breakfast menu, however, was limited. I would suggest offering some more diverse items such as smoothie bowls and parfaits. The food was served relatively quickly after it had been ordered. The items met expectations in terms of appearance and taste.

This is a great Italian restaurant that has really delicious pizza. I had the pizza with salmon, olives and avocado and it was transcendent. The waiters were extremely friendly and efficient. I would happily come here again.

Nice enough view, but OMG, the prices(!). Don’t get ripped off; this was the most expensive coffee we have had in SA and it was terrible to boot. Go over to Theson Island and you’ll be spoilt for choice with newer and better cafes. This place trades on being a tourist trap. Avoid.

Situated on the canal side on the Marina. Food tasty and well presented and priced. Staff friendly and happy though tend to be slow to take and serve order. Indoor and outdoor seating. Often a chilly wind in the evening so suggest wear something warm if sitting outside.
