Enjoyed working over lunch with my friends. The place was empty inside and outside. Few couples came and left but never was the place full. The food was delish and the staff was friendly. Covid-19 protocols adhered.

Miller is our favourite waiter. Very friendly and always smiling. You are lucky to have him at Ocean basket. We go back every week because of the awesome service he gives us.

The food was nice. We had oysters and prawns. Service was lekker. Will definitely go back again.

Small restaurant with quick and friendly service. Unisex bathroom is a bit small. Small kids play area outside the seated area. No smoking area available. Food portions on starters menu to small for the prices charged. The main meal came fast and fresh. The waitress was attentive, friendly and patient with the small kids. All in all a good night out during the week, for a quick meal with the family

Arrived as they were opening but they chose to serve us anyway. Service was quick and friendly. Fish was a little dry.

Slow service. Food was cold. Waited another 40 min after table was cleaned to pay. Eventually got up and paid. Service definitely needs improvement.

First the order was delivered upside down. Return that, rice sour, chips hard and fish so dry cant eat this. Over 200-00 wasted. Bad experience. Wont order from them again

Found scales on our fish when we ordered a family platter. The manager was nice enough to discount the food and explained that they had recently changed suppliers. Still unacceptable however I guess everyone is human.

Service was extremely slow. My grilled fish was inedible, chips dried out, the top up prawns were good. Fortunately the manager didnt charge for the fish and chips. Very disappointing eat out.

Ive recently been back to this Ocean Basket, and I must admit. My opinion of them has improved since my last visit. Especially the service. The food was never really an issue. Well done to the shift managers, they were noticeably more hands on, which facilitated the improvement in service standard.

Always a nice place to get some decent, well priced seafood platters and fish. They also serve environmentally friendly caught / farmed fish. Food is relatively well priced considering its seafood. So far all my experiences have been good. The Fish is always fresh.

Service was terribly slow, sushi was disappointing fell apart and took forever. The fish and chips were dried out when they arrived, very unpleasant eat out.

Great food. The wait or was professional and excellent service was provided. Most definitely one of the nicest Ocean Baskets Ive been to. I would definitely recommend it to anyone! The halloumi is a must try, if you love halloumi!

It really was terrible! The kiddies meal is so oily... The sushi was luke warm. The restaurant feels a bit dirty and sticky? One star goes for the great play area, the other goes for they awesome oysters (although they didnt have to cook those?)I love OB... But my goodness... Not a great experience!

Was very very unhappy. Received my Platter cold. Sent it back and received it back still cold. Manager was very accommodating and offered to do another Platter but we were not going to try a third time and opted to send it back and leave. Manager did reprimand the chefs accordingly but I will not be eating there again.

We visit there at times and found that the service is as excellent as always and the food is as tasty as OB is... but the quality of the food wasnt as good as always. The quantity was less and didnt match to the standard as Im used to iro the preparation

Ive been at many Ocean Basket restaurants and never had a bad experience before. Yet at this franchise the service was very slow and the food a disappointment.

Never experienced unappetizing food like this at any Ocean Basket .... prawns raw had to sent back food cold an rice sour and mushhhh of grain. Manager just sorry to hear. Will never come back to this place

Had an amazing dinner, Service by waitress Tsitsi and highly client focused Thabani the restaurant manager. Made this one of the best Ocean basket experiences ever. Highly recommended.

We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly waiter and given a table for 2. Myself and my wife order the platter for 2. We waited for about 30 mins for the food to arrive which i thought was a bit long but when it arrived I could see why, it was huge and all freshly cooked. The platter was delicious and served hot. I can honestly say there was nothing on the platter that let us down, it was superb. We then ordered dessert, what a let down. My wife ordered the Baklava Cheesecake with Cream, horrible. The cheesecake was grainy and had a horrible texture. I had someone thing I cannot remember the name of, that, if your thing would have been nice i suppose but not for me, but my wifes dessert was just aweful. The service from the waiters and manager was friendly. I will eat there again will just not have the dessert.

Service was not up to par. Food was good but on the cold side. Not what we expected from OB.

Vegetables tasted frozen. Fish was overcooked and burnt underneath. Atmosphere is lacking. A positive is that the manager spent quite a bit of time with us after apologising for the bad food experience and is putting plans into place in order to improve the food quality.

Takeaways take far too long. Had to wait an hour for 3 items. If you order grilled food its not too long of a wait, however if you order any form of sushi you could be waiting for 45 minutes to an hour.
