I am totally obsessed with the idea and flavor fusion behind Waku...Sadly, the execution is lacking slightly.That being said...its a new business...a small business at that, owned and run fiercely by a Female entrepreneur and that in itself is enough reason to keep me coming back!!With a few improvements in the service and the execution of the dishes, this would easily become one of my favorite spots!Its homey and has the potential to become spectacular, it definitely deserves a chance!

The food was great. Service was good. Will definitely be back. However we felt the brisket was quite over priced considering the portion size.

We ordered the fiery wings , calamari starter, mussels starter, rump steak with feta and avocado and two types of boas. All were fresh and tasty. Will definitely return. Only gripe was the steak was more well done than medium but it was nonetheless soft and juicy.

The steak and waku burger was delicious and very flavourful. The food was prepared quickly without a long wait. A bit cold but we were lucky to have the heater near our table. Parked in the basement and followed the signs to the retail parking area. Will definitely go back

Lovely setup and atmosphere. Great service from waiters.Found the spinach slightly salty and my salad that came with my bombay toastie meal had a plastic tab that seemed to have come from the feta container. The manager kindly resolved the matter for me when it was brought to her attention.

GOOD coffee!But also a great spot to work at or grab a quick bite. Lovely deco and the Food is amazing too. Flavours are balanced well.Definitely enjoyed the experience.
