We ordered a full chicken with 2 sides..apart from the small side of chips, the chicken was the size of a baby chicken. Thats the last from us for nandos and we used to love nandos Norwood for many years.

What bad service twice in a row, I thought this was a once off. Last nite was full of distaste( pun intended) had to wait nearly 40min for a full chicken and wedges and rolls, only to get home and find a raw chicken drenched in watered down awful sauce, served with wedges that looked and tasted like last week left overs.. never again shall my family and i order from Norwood Nandos. Pathetic

Unless you plan on becoming permanently put-off nandos, I would not recommend this place. Id rather go to the pet section at the grocery and eat some husky chunks from a can, than eat stale-and-refried-tasting-smelling livers.

Ordered Chicken livers, and chicken etc, no rolls for chicken livers. By the time the rolls arrived food cold. We usually get good serve from you guys but this is the second. Not happy.....

The 1/2 chicken I ordered online was a good experience. It was ready before they indicated online. Whe I collected the people were friendly and efficient. The chicken itself was the best Nandos Ive had for quite some time.

A save place for shopping

Not a pleasant visit. This store did not have beetroot and feta on their menu. Secondly the cashier wanted to charge for extra sauce on chicken at price of R10. Thats pathetic seeing that store owners pay just over R20 for a full chicken. Other stores offer extra sauce for FREE. Thirdly the store is notwell managed. No soap in dispenser at wash basin. I had to inform them of their duties. Fourthly the staff sings out loud in the bathroom. Which should NOT occur at a food establishment especially if you staff. Would I return? Not a chance. Keep up this sort of pathetic service and Im sure a Burger King store would take your spot.

Ordered a full chicken and 3 sides, the chicken was extremely spicy and we had to spit it out. We called nandos noorwood and we told the rude manager that we had to spit out the chicken as we could not eat it as it tasted like peri peri, she reluctantly told us to return the chicken and the spat out chicken and the bones after receiving the new chicken the manager called and she told us it was unacceptable that we never returned a whole chicken, and why where there 4 bones and the other peaces but we already told here we tried to eat it but spat us out also why would she want the chicken back during a pandemic ,what was she going to do with it. Head office also said they cant do anything shocking service from the ignorant manager at nandos Norwood will never eat there again.0/10Thank for your response but a little too late for apologies.

Always friendly and left my mobile behind which was taken to their office and kept for me until I returned. Honesty is a rare commodity these days. Thank u Nandos Norwood.

While we are having a nice family dinner our table is approached by a beggar that puts a note on the table and just stands here. And stands here. And stands here. I had to eventually ask our waiter if there was someone that could assist him. What a sad state that our economy can’t support its people and that Nando’s can’t reserve the restaurant seating for patrons.

Worst service ever. Placed an order for collection and when I got to the shop I was told I never placed an order, only to find out that the lady that took the order had not sent it to the kitchen, then the manager made up an excuse that there was something wrong with the system yet some orders had been sent.

I have ordered from this specific restaurant and the third time still a major flop .The chicken looks dry and tastes even dryer. No flavor whatsoever. It tasted like cotton.I wish I could rate less than a star. This Nandos deserves a minus.I’d prefer my money back.

I was very disappointed with the service that I had received from Nandos staff in Norwood today. I had planned to take my family for a meal in the evening at 19:30 however when I had arrived i was informed that the kitchen had already closed and there were no chickens in stock. This was a great disappointment especially since I had called the restaurant earlier in the day to ask if they closed at 20:00 to which they confirmed.

Food was good. Nothing beats Nandos flavour. Service was good. Food came quickly. Amenities were good. Electricity went out during our meal. I dont think the store was prepared. Spent quite a bit of time in the dark before a waiter came to check on us to see if we needed anything

Worst experience ever at a this particular Nandos Norwood. Phoned from outside and placed an order only to find out that the Incompetant idiots working here managed to screw my order up and send it out for delivery

Clean and inviting environment. Great specials, as always and the meal was great. Just one thing, I just wish the waiters can take more care in ensuring that there are e.g. sauces on each table and things to wipe with etc. To be looking around for them to ask for these is unnecessary.

The meal waiting time was good. The cashier 101, Bongiwe gave us negative attitude when we were inquiring about the meal. She acted all glueless and not any intention figured out. The meal is a famous full chicken with sides but didnt seem to know anything about it.

Absolutely love this branch. I work in a nig corporate company for the last 2 years we would order large sum of platters for our corporate events and they always delivered on time. Today I drove all the way to actually come to the branch absolutely clean...fast and has order . Cashiers are friendly and smiling this is what customer service is about.

Nandos is getting too costly. No value for money anymore.A full chicken goes for R 146 not R99 any more and a 500 ml coke bottle sells for R21.Way too expensive !

The food is good. But the service needs major working on. First of all, they charge a R20 delivery fee to deliver 1km away. Secondly, I ordered chicken with extra sauce. They delivered chicken with absolutely no sauce. It’s almost as if they just sent dry cooked chicken. I called the restaurant to sort it out. The manager didn’t know what to say except to apologise. I had to be the one to suggest that they deliver sauce separately to me. Well over an hour later, when my food was already cold, they delivered cold sauce. I’m not impressed with their service at all.

Nice takeaway spot. Usually easy to find parking. The shop is often busy but that does not mean that you have a long wait. Never had a bad meal. Car guards can be a bit much something but are not threatening.

Cannot get the order right. And its everytime. Asked for pulled chicken wrap, hot chicken pieces. WHAT IS SO DIFFICULT? The till slip says pulled chicken so surely the chefs should get it right? Also ordered lemon and herb hot pot - whatever it was it was hot and I couldnt eat it!

I explicity asked for extra sauce but the chicken I got was dry, this happened twice in two weeks

This place ran out of quarter chicken election special.... Please. I feel like this is some dishonest business behaviorThe above was my first review of this establishment and so I thought I might have been a bit harsh regarding their dodgy marketing ploys. So I decided to go back and give it a go. I can safely say that this was by far the worst nandos meal I have ever had. I could eat only half my burger because it was so hard and the sides were inedible. Id strongly recommend you eat some else on Grant as this really is the bottom of the barrel.
