As a local guide around these parts, I try to give every place a chance with honest, constructive feedback. Firstly I am a student whos on a budget, so theres my first problem with ChesaNyama, I paid R100 for a meal that didnt even fill me up entirely (thats like the equivalent of 3 Bic Mac meals). So they are very expensive. To their detriment, their chips were hard and felt old, the meat was burnt and the portion was mediocre. Extremely disappointed with the whole experience. If youre looking for quality food nearby Id suggest buying the Melville spar actual food meals, theyre consistent and affordable.

Love the chicken there... but i think its closed now... or maybe they were on holiday

The internet says they close at 9pm but they dont. Not sure what time they close, i arrived at 8:45pm on a Monday night and the doors were already locked so i had to go to MacDonalds. They have nice food though

Waited for too long for the food, and it turned out that we got burnt meat with fat only! The rolls were very dry and not fresh. The gravy was slap dash chopped onions and tomatoes.

Very friendly staff. Affordable prices and their food is really good. I ordered the chuck , wors and pap. My friend ordered the chips and russian. I really enjoyed the meat and the portoons are big. The service was very quick. The vibe was cool. Variety of alcohol was lacking though. They onky had hunters dry, hunters gold , castle and black label

Im a regular customer but yesterday I experienced the most shocking service.

I dnt know the franchise is loosing its touch..... What happend to value for money..... The wings were horrible......

Nice atmosphere, smell that comes out of the doors are mouth watering, while you drool and have a medium waiting period, you can enjoy a alcoholic beverage while your at it. Open till late

Bad service, food wasn’t nice, asked that my meat be made medium to rare and got well done, when I brought up why it wasn’t done right I got no apology. Chesanyama used to be awesome but now 👎
