The restaurant is at Fourways Crossing, a shopping centre with a relatively good selection of shops and adequate shopping space.The staff were attentive, orders were quickly taken and filled.We were a party of four for breakfast. The standard table size was inadequate, they quickly added an extra table to accommodate us.The food was good and fresh.I had the pork ribs and the portion was, shockingly, adequate.

Sorry, a shop that I once valued for its quality (and exclusively used their bread rolls products for our shops burgers and foot-longs) has now sorely disappointed me. R107 rand for a side plate full of baklava? R87 for 300 odd grams of biscotti? Your prices are not realistic. And the service was disappointing. Im glad we put everything back down and walked out.Try harder, and look at the situation around you Fournos.

Went there to buy some fresh bread and I was not disappointed at all. Their bread is so fresh and they have a lot of variety. I also tried their chocolate croissants and it was just as amazing. Overall I would highly recommend and I really want to go back and try out their little coffee shop.

I regret to advise that I bought things from you yesterday and some were very very stale. Your bakeries are a long standing family favourite and I havent been able to afford it for a long time. I understand that we are facing many challenges lately and I commend you for keeping the doors open. But I was very disappointed in the things I bought. Im not saying I will never come back again, just saying you need to check whats going on. As Im sitting now, Im scared to cut the beautiful cake I bought for my family. They have been lookig forward to this all day. Sorry to give you a low review and a bad comment but I spent a lot of money yesterday and I regret it.

Atmosphere is cold. Staff was mopping around the table working with dirty water right next to me. No management contact with patrons. Prices are reasonable and food quality acceptable.

Lovely portions. The staff are friendly and the taste of the foods is delicious to put it mildly. A nice place to just chill with your peeps or take someone to. Will definitely recommend for anyone. It has a nice relaxed vibe with foods and bakery included.

Croissants were great, bruschetta wasnt. They offer espresso, ristretto and lungo - but our waiter didnt really know the difference.

Service was lacking, took 15 minutes to pay my bill. I had to go and find a till in the end to be able to pay. Never had this sort of service before at this Fournos. A bit disappointing. Food awesome as usual.

Was around 08:30 sunday morning,Ordered a five roses tea with hot milk. Arrived.. Waited for my meal.. Got to us on time no delays. Poured my tea lo and behold.. Out comes ANTS from the silver teapot, ANTS, not 1 or 2, a whole army.. Was furious called the waiter, apologized, I called the manager, also apologized, and she said that my breakie is free, all because i said so. The service was great. There was a big variety of food to choose from the shop and the menu. The food was very fresh and we enjoyed the delicious coffee.

Love this bakery. The cakes are fresh and the o Rd ering process is smooth. We also love the gourmet sandwiches using the bread of our choice.

We went there for lunch and had a mixed experience. The coffee was really tasty, the food did not live up to the hype. The bacon wrap was really delicious and succulent, however the Avocado chicken salad was bad. The shredded chicken was very dry and tasted like yesterdays chicken. Same for the avo. The salad looked completely different than the last time we had it. To their credit, the manager took the salad off the bill and offered us a redo (we werent hungry anymore though) and we got a coffee on the house. Customer service done right! I subtract one star for the slow service and one for how the salad. Initially went out . But excellent customer service and orientation by the manager.

The waitress was outstanding. Lovely atmosphere. Looking forward to my next trip.

Oh my.. had the most amazing toasted sandwich, been craving a sandwich with lots of avocado and melting cheese.. and I finally got it here and it surely hit the right spot.Chilled place with pretty good customer service and fresh food, not forgetting fresh mouth-watering cakes.

Saw a fly having the time of its life in the pie enclosure. I told a staff member , all she did was remove the pie that the fly sat on. I clearly saw it sit on multiple other pies, which I stated. But she didnt really care or do anything. We didnt buy any of those , we bought some sealed macaroons which were clearly very stale. Im definitely avoiding fournos from here on out

It was Friday, half past 8am I just ask for a black coffee, no milk, no sugar. They gave me one of the worse filter coffee, like it was finished to days ago ... Berk Berk Berk. Why do you not take a cappuccino? Because I love coffee, just coffee ... No f.. ng other product in it? Why you do not take an expresso? Because I love have a coffees mug ... Is like you ask meat in butchery and they propose 200 g or 5 kg or 20 kg ... I would like something between 200 g and 2 kg !!!

Update on review: I was asked with my previous review by the owner who responded to my complaint to email my complaint to them so that Fournos can improve my review. It has been 12 days give or take and I still have not received a reply. I ordered a few times after my first review and disappointingly still the freshly baked goodies were still not freshly baked. I ordered your tramazzinis today and found them tasteless. Although there was plenty of chicken and feta on the on the tramazzinis, which was great, but still tasted like nothing. The food was badly packed and damaged. Then lastly, the chips were oily and had no seasoning on them at all. I have tried to improve my review of Fournos by testing different products but still not satisfied. I have taken away 1 more star as I have not recieved any reply from Fournos which makes it feel like they made the comment to keep me quiet. Very dissatisfied.Previous review: Spanakopita was old with barely any feta. Tiropitas were falling apart and also tasted old. Sausage rolls were good and delicious. What happened to all the freshly baked goodies from you guys? Disappointed

Disappointed. Quality of this bakery has declined over the years. I have been visiting this Fournos branch for quite a while.It is understandable that they were out of stock on quite a few pastries given the current pandemic delivery service issues. However, the food itself has been very poor quality for quite some time now. Stale muffins, powdery, under cooked Chelsea buns ect.I hope the quality of food improves in future.

Rich & fresh food

I have eaten here twice each time has been awful, food is sloppy, not well presented, had a stale bagel and a very oily salmon rosti which I didnt pay for. Manager said they would look into it but I saw the same oily mess waking past five minutes later. they also dont serve slices of cake anymore, i would never go back there. Mugg and bean much better. They really need to pull up their socks

Food was kept under the heating element so long that everything looked, and tasted, like rubber. The breakfast i had, which was delivered to the table nearly an hour after ordering, was awful. I sent it back untouched. The manager was aware of this and sent a box of croissants to the table. However, the horrible breakfast was left on the bill. As much as I love their roast chicken, I wont return for breakfast. Service was almost non-existent. We asked for the bill and waited almost 30 minutes to pay.

Looked forward to a hearty breakfast ... but was disappointed when we were served disgusting black avo and refried wedges 🤮 So visit if you must, but love yourself enough and check inside your sandwiches, wraps etc so that you’re not eating junk.
