First visit. Met a friend for impromptu drinks. Loved the can do attitude when we asked our waitress about a cocktail not on the menu. However, decided to stick to the menu....and a very comfortable couch. The service was lovely and if we did not have to rush off to our respective dinner times at home, dinner would have been ordered as well. Friendly staff all round. Maybe a 5 star rating once I am able to order food.

The salsiccia pizza and blue cheese burger were a real treat. The pizza was authentically Italian with a tasty wood-fired crust, fresh mozzarella and aromatic basil leaves. A perfect sharing suggestion for two is the caprese salad also with fresh mozzarella.

I really enjoy the food here, the taste matches the aesthic of the place; superb. The pasta and pizzas are great and the sushi is just so fresh.

I have been to this restaurant several times as I live close by, but when I went for my birthday celebration dinner, it was not a good experience. The food was not flavored well, it was cold, the hot chocolate was terrible and the service was bad despite the restaurant being relatively empty. My companions salad was soaked in juices from her steak. The only good thing was that the steak was cooked well.

After reading the reviews I was a bit reluctant to try Big Bad Wolf but none of the reviews said the food was bad, just that it was expensive and the tables and chairs were not great. So I tried it anyway and boy was worth it. Fork out your hard earned cash and treat yourself to excellent pizza, pasta and one of the best salads I have tried in Jozi. The staff were great and the manager on duty was engaging and helpful. This place is not cheap, but its worth every cent. Try it out and be sure to ask about the days specials.

Reataurant was well decorated, the couches are much more comfortable than the single seats that they provide which are not very great. Pizzas are well portioned although very pricey. Limited menu and not a wide variety of pizzas to choose from even though it is a pizza bar.

Ive been eyeing Big Bad Wolf ever since they opened and I finally got the chance to pay them a visit this weekend. The long wait added to the whole experience. As you walk in you are greeted with a spacious and well decorated restaurant. They got the aesthetics right.My favorite area of the restaurant is probably the couches. Grab the couches if they are available. Very comfortable and clean.We went there looking for pizza and we were initially disappointed by the options until they arrived. They are very generous with their toppings, the pizzas are really good and quite large as well. Hoping to come back for their other dishes.

At first glance the place looks warm and inviting. Staff is responsive and willing to assist. I got seated and was just asked for my choice of drink. Unfortunately my milkshake arrived in a huge wine glass instead of a more practical cup or beaker. Its not as thick as I am use to.When I was seated I asked the waitress if they have any specials... That was over 15 minutes ago... And no one has come to take my order as yet.The food has arrived. I went with a pizza that had mushrooms olives and ham. Presentation is well executed. A little side table for my condiments. First bite was great. Fit for a wolf. Ingredients are of good quality and the pizza was baked just long enough not to burn the crust. Three slices in and I am finished. The seasoning is great and it all comes together beautifully.Overall experience is a bit above par.Prices are high and not for bargain hunters.Food quality is really good.The wolf will be back...

Incredible pizza and atmosphere, deco is modern and cool vibe. I can suggest the Big Bad Wolf pizza and there was another delicious one, I think it was called Percy. Would suggest some wow milkshakes for us non drinkers

The glasses were dirty, we had red wine and got gin glasses. We had to take our food back, second time, my sauce was so watery and I did not have the energy to send it back again . The service is also a bit lackluster. All in all, I personally wouldnt spend my money there again but it is your money so do what you want.

Ordered pizza, Prego roll and pasta with beef bolognese via Ubereats. Utterly disgusting. The pizza was salty, the pasta was bland and the roll was soggy. Disappointing and possibly the most unpleasant experience I have ever had- that’s a tall order to meet since dining in Jhb is pathetic. If it was possible, I would give this a negative review.

Had a great meal at Big Bad Wolf Pizza.The service is brilliant. The pizza is superb.I had a dessert that was not on the menu; a salted caramel don pedro with a shot of Frangelico. Beautifully presented and absolutely moreish.They have a pretty good wine selection.The only thing I can really fault them in is that theyre a bit expensive.Good for a spoil and a nice change from the other pizza offerings around.

Anove avarage food. Very wide variety of cocktails. But steep prices. Otherwise a good experience over all. Not a fly by grub-and-duck kind of place. But pets allowed! 🌠🌠🌠

Big Bad Wolfs pizzas are delectable, just the right ratio of moist toppings and a crispy bace. YUM! Now who would have thought asparagus can work on a pizza!? The vibe of the place is rather old world charming, with rattan look chairs, marble topped tables, interesting coloured drinks glasses, golden cutlery nogals and the waiters wear proper leather aprons. All la ti da darling. Lovely black soft couches with huge comfy back pillows. Whats not to love, sit inside or outside and watch the upmarket crowd pass by with their shopping and driving their larny cars. A plus is that it is still undiscovered, as it is still relatively new. So go on....spoil yourself.

How does one pay that much for air??? Stay away!!!!! I placed my order on Uber Eats and unfortunately both my pizza bases were so burnt that it was like a crispy cracker! The flavor of the pizza has also changed, my toppings did not taste great.

My partner and I went out for dinner to Chaplins grill on Valentines day and had a terrible experience. We decided to find another spot to end off our evening. We came across The big bad wolf and decided to give it a try. The decor is lovely, there is a great, mixed crowd, the service from the waiters are extremely on point. There is good music and a great vibe. The only downfall is the starter I tried which was the baby marrow strips and pesto sauce. The baby marrow was oily with no seasoning and I could not taste the Pesto. I had already eaten a starter and main but it just sounded so delicious I had to try it. My partner and I are definitely planning to go often.

Best pizza for miles! We drive from Hartbeespoort time and again just to get some take-aways. Generous on the toppings and really cool, interesting options. The Percy is definitely a favorite thus far ..but we’re still working our way thru the menu and looking forward to try them all! Well done guys.

Our Family discovered this amazing restaurant about 6 weeks ago and have been back almost every Saturday since. The food is superb, the Sangria is the best we have had anywhere in the country and the service is consistently attentive and friendly. This has become our favorite spot and we will be back.

Discovered this place about a 1month ago. Great airy setup. Fantastic service. Great tasting food. They specialize in pizzas but you can also order the fancy stuff from the restaurant next door.

Impromptu pop into BigBadWolf for lunch. Friendly reception, greeted by the owner and chef as we walked in. And then it happened! I wasnt very hungry, but I couldnt stop myself eating away at my pizza! If I could rename the place (which I wouldnt) I would call it the Art of Pizza! Absolutely delicious!!! They also explained to us how they are expanding the current menu and how they are taking in what customers are feeding back to create an even better experience. We had a great time and will be back with the entire family and some friends!

Honestly fantastic Halloween experience on Friday. The staff were dressed up and super enthusiastic. The pub was themed. The DJs were flippin awesome. Sure, it was a bit empty and couldve maybe used more advertising or such to get more people. But it was super fun with the vibe and friends there. Thanks for the great night.

Had dinner there last night, when l opened the menu l nearly runaway, there is not much on the menu, if you do not like pizza and pasta do not go there, l ate trout salad,but not over thtop, you wont find a pizza under 100,unless its just tomato and basil, a bottle of wine is cheaper there than a plate of pizza, the pizza looked good, and tasted good, but too pricey.The service was excellent you dont look for the waiter. Not much to choose from on the wine list, especially sparkling wine section, be prepared to pay R300 and more or a bottle of sparkling wine, this restaurant is way more expensive than great restaurants l have been to at Mandela Square, Sandton City or Monte Casino, l guess you are paying more for the ambience than food.

Terrible food, even more terrible tasting cocktails. Had the lamb sub, so so dry. Also had the lamb pizza - definitely not the best in town.

Service and food was good (lovely decor too)! But charging R60 for a bottle of water was a tad excessive.

Decided to try something different to our usual local Pizza guy. Ordered via Uber eats and arrived within 30 minutes. The pizzas were tasty with a really good base. If it wasnt for the R75 Uber voucher, we probably wouldnt order from them again. 2 x Pizza at R330!? Think you might have to respond to the other reviews and adjust your pricing if you want your business to grow. #justsaying

As per my husbands review, Big Bad Wolf has become an absolute family favourite! The halloumi starter is mouthwatering, the pizza bases are thin and crispy and we have not had 1 bad choice so far. Even the focaccia cheese-topped bread is a winner. Whilst the sangria is incredible, your gin selection is superb and of course, one cant leave without having a cointreau Dom Pedro! Service is 10/10 and one can see the staff are not only happy, but proud to work there which is a fe ather in managements cap. Well done to a brilliant team.

I met a friend at Cedar Square for lunch today and we decided we would walk past the restaurants to see which place caught our eye. We went no further when we saw Big Bad Wolf, what a tastefully decorated restaurant and on a beautiful, sunny pre-spring day it was ideal. It was only once wed ordered drinks that we realised there really wasnt anything available on the menu apart from pizza, apart from 3 unappetising sounding salads. The pizzas were enjoyable enough, but certainly wasnt what I wanted for lunch. Guys, you are really going to have to up your game regarding your menu if you dont want to go the same way as many of the other restaurants at Cedar Square.

Was ok, wont go again. My hubby was very disappointed in the pizza, said it was basically dough and cheese. I also think to stay current is to have a gluten free option should you only be serving pizza and salad. I also found the tables weird, our friends across the table felt so far and we struggled to have a comfortable conversation.
