Turns out my initial review has been quickly removed about my first car, I have to say it is fully expected behavior from the owner.Now we checking my second car as its also been having power issues and the lights wont work as per normal, post the service conducted at this establishment.Clear indications now, after finding lose switches, are indicating short circuiting and wiring crossed.Watch this space!Added - To be clear, the owner did not take ownership of the clear and obvious errors that the guys jacked my car wrong or that it fell of the jack. We went back and forth till, and I quote the owners words, will do it out of goodwill by using a panel beater who could not be validated as an approved brand dealer. The owner cannot be clear and address the crux of the concerns on the QC process or lack thereof, nor acknowledging the teams poor workmanship. Just continued and blatant arrogance. And this still excludes all the mechanical and electronic damages!!!The owner chooses to keep missing all of the above, and made my tight schedule as so hectic that we found no way forward. I acknowledged clearly that I had no idea on what happened to the bodywork nor what was happening mechanically and electronically until I got clear and precise advise from other mechanics. Once I did that I made the owner aware immediately on a Sunday afternoon, who then made the timeline of me making him aware as the reason why he wont acknowledge it.And better yet, for 2 months now there was no time to ever call and arrange repairs? Or confirm my concerns on the type of dealer, the replacement parts, the workmanship etc. Or was schedules just as hectic to make the time? But the owner makes time when its time for book in and payments. For consistency lets say its the latter in this argument, as the owner will never truly take responsibility for the establishments side of the errors.The owner actually had the odacity to make it so simple to say we all make mistakes . These mistakes is costing me tens of thousands of rands that I need to loan to be able to repair, and that is only on one of my cars so far! Did the owner and team ever stop to think what this does to my family, household, finances, safety, risks, the inconveniences, lost times, impact on our jobs etc.So Mr owner please dont put up a forefront of apologies on such platforms for the purposes of sounding professional and helpful, because on personal discussions you show your ignorance, pride and arrogance.Make arrangements to refund me for both of my vehicles initials costs at your establishment.Its costing me more now after having come to you than anything else. Seems breaking cars at your workshop is just referred to as mistakes.I still cannot comprehend that I am experiencing this, as its a first time experience in over 15 years of managing my vehicles, truly disappointing!

I know ive commented before but i feel i need to comment again. the owner of this establishment is a pure example of what it means to be an honest hard working mechanic. any challenge he faces he handles with such composure. keep in mind my entire family have their cars serviced and maintained with starfixauto. the problem: my wifes car. opel corsa gsi, 2000 model, oil leak which no one could. we were told that this is a sickness on this car. needless to say this man found the issue. even though it cost him trying to find it but in the end it was fixed and resolved. even though it cost him he valued the relationship we have built more than what it cost him. thank you to the team at star fix auto centre. keep up the amazing service...you have us as clients for life.
