Just because of this Ford Dealership I will never own a Ford in my my entire life . We’ve had countless of problems since day one of buying a bakkie for my other half . There’s always a problem phoning this dealership or if the bakkie goes to service we get the bakkie back with problems. If we try to sort it out , workers have a bad attitude. I was thinking of trading my VW in on a Ford the past week and its safe to say that I’ll rather walk then buy a ford

Very bad servis. As they took now 4 day to get an account number to Avis for payment. And never keep me updated. From Friday they never phone me. And in the meantime I am losing business because I am using my car to make money. I will never use then again and my dad also will not.

Had a terrible experience here. The security guy whos in charge of taking our temperature and filling in our details for covid procedures is the reason Id rate this 1 star. We were 3 adults, 2 of us submitted our ID numbers for the lenghtly covid register, the last person we were with is from Swaziland, she did not have her passport with her so this guy told us we cant gain entry because of that. I suggested that 2 out of 3 ID submissions cant be that big a deal plus were here to purchase. He chased us away. I called management and explained our situation then a friendly gentleman by the name Tshepo came to fetch us. The second star is for Tshepo. Well be returning only to give Tshepo this sale.

My car was due for service and I needed to replace my clutch since I could see that in a long run it was going to give me problems and it was also due for 200 000km service , I was advised that it was every impossible for them to replace both in one day because they were going to take out the gear box in other for them to replace the clutch and to replace the Cambelt, it will take them another day. I brought the car on Thursday morning as per their request but I was a bit puzzled when I called them on Friday at around two to find out that the car was not yet finished because it was not the first time I was changing a Cambelt chain from the Glen Ford. I received a call from them later that day at around 3:30pm and I was told that the car will be finished that day and you will send a driver to come and fetch me. Got there and the car was not yet finished, waited for an hour and when it was finally finished their technician to the car for a test drive and he confirm that the car was okey, but when I got to drive the car myself On my way home I picked up that the was funny noise that was coming out of the engine, but it stopped when I got home. I sent them an email to let let them know of the car status Fast forward to recently, it had been a month later since I serviced my car and got a warning light saying ‘’engine Malfunction Service now’’ on the monitor, and on the dash I get light that looks like a little wrench and engine service light. ****s me to think that I have cracked my bank account and paid R17 870.20 hoping that my car was going to last me another year with no problems, but it goes to show that I was dreaming. I took the car back to Ford the glen twice before I was told it was to book it in, the when I complained they promised that they will fix all the problem to the car. when they kept the car the whole day and at around 3:30 I was given a call and I was told that in order for the to continue to diagnose the car they will need me to by a battery, I told them it is fine they can put in a new battery for R1700, a few minutes later got a call from them telling me that I need to come fetch the car. when got them the service adviser just gave me the invoice and told me to go and pay at the window, the I asked what was wrong with the car and she gave me attitude and told me that it was the battery and she left me, while was paying, she came behind me and gave me the key then she disappear. The following day on my way to work the light came back. This means that the car was not touched when it was returned to Ford the Glen. This was the worst service that I got from Ford the glen 1, demand that they give me my old battery back because since the problem is still there it means that my old battery was not the problem 2, I want my R17 00.00 back because will be return your battery 3, I want my 17 870.00 since my car was never serviced I will make sure that no one around me will ever service their cars at the glen and I will taking legal actions against you.i was not expecting this from you. after years since i have been loyal to you and this is how mi being repaid.mxm

Service department was friendly with booking, from there it went down hill. Collect my vehicle and just get given my key and told your car is there waiting, Firstly the car was still dirty with oil hand.marks on bonnet and doors, my vehicle is heavier on fuel compared to prior service then I get home after collecting my vehicle from its service and my service light comes on. Take my vehicle back for them to reset the service light and tell them the issues I have, for them to tell me its normal for a automatic to be heavy, but how can my vehicle be heavier than it was after a service. Not long after the car starts to shudder like its doesnt know what gear it needs to be in, so I call the dealer that did the last service to be told quite arrogantly that it cant be, because the gearbox and clutch issues were solved in 2015 so its not possible, which made me quite upset since Im the one who drives it. I feel that some of the staff at this dealership need proper training and the correct knowledge of issues clients might have.

My husband took his car in for service on Friday 20th December, and fetched it in the afternoon before closing time. What a bad experience it was. 19kms into his journey back home, the car got stuck.Had to tow the car home, and back on Saturday morning (only to find the place shut on the Services side). We got assistance from another gentleman who works there (no name given). Upon inspection he discovered that some of the parts were not properly replaced/fit in. Fast-Forward, he got it fixed.Ford Services should ensure that their job is properly done before releasing the cars. A BAD experience indeed, which left us with an unnecessary bill of having to tow the car back and forth.Bad SERVICE in December......

Poor customer service and incompetent workshop staff.Oh my word, words cannot express how shockingly poor the customer service is when having something fixed on your car:Leonie promised to phone me on 3 different occasions with an update, and Im yet to get a call from her. No concept of keeping a client informed.Wayne the technician, where to start? I am so disappointed in him and the technical team. Not only could they not fix what was reported in a day as I was originally promised, they took another 3 working days to get approval from Ford for the warranty claim and to fit the parts. They also managed to further break my hooter (which decided to go off on its own at 12am) after telling me theres nothing wrong with my hooter when I reported it wasnt working properly. Very disappointing.After having the workshop phoning me 3 times on 3 days after 3pm to tell me my car is not ready not once did anyone offer a courtesy vehicle. Furthermore, its not my problem as the client, that the Ford dealership needs to jump through hoops with Ford to get something replaced under warranty.Ive been a BMW driver since the 90s - this is my first Ford - and I can honestly say that the service levels are not comparable. BMWs processes are client-centric whereas Fords are designed around their interests first. Clients come second.Im still hopeful that Ford The Glen manage to up their game, but deep down I dont think this will happen because I dont think they recognise how poor their client service is.I will endeavour to escalate my dissatisfaction with McCarthy head office in the hope that other customers can be spared such dire client service.

Its the most pathetic service you will come across. The staff dont bother to assist customers instead only make your life more difficult. They dont even try to listen to or understand the problems they just tell you to book the car in. Which is an inconvenience since they only open from 7-5 on week days and have a shuttle service that only operates within a 10km radius from the dealership. My car is only 2 years old and already has needed a new battery and now the bluetooth doesnt work. Wont ever consider buying a Ford again

My car was due for service and a steering wrack was supposed to be fixed and they didnt instead they told me how not bad it is and can still drive for a long time with it, bcus I have been getting bad service from their consultants with attitude, I thought I have to move to another branch. When I got there they discovered the problem and it was them who were supposed to fix it a long time ago ot has nothing to do with how bad the wrack is but it needed to be fix and they told me to go back, I did that. Spoke to Barry who promised to fix it even today Im the one who have to push them and worse they never get back to their messages that you left to the reception. Bad service Ive ever seen I would NEVER recommend anyone to go there
