It was not too crowded. It was rather busy. Speedy service. Delicious food

Always a good pick for seafood. Had the salmon salad to start and prawns for the main. Consistent in quality and taste. Could do with some improvement of their wine list and having beers on tap including craft beers.

I always go there for their mussels and cocktails, they are amazing. However their waiters dont pay attention to detail .I dont understand this concept of all of them standing in a group by the door, chit chatting and not checking up on their customers. I found myself sitting with an empty glass waiting for a refill and my waitress was at the door chatting with her colleagues. Disappointing service !

We have been to Ocean Baskets around South Africa, few times at Stoneridge and every time we get there the rolls serving as a snack is old and tangy, obviously coming from the fridge and not fresh baked every day. Tell me which day you bake fresh rolls and Ill return, love the food and beverages!

Always a seafood treat at Ocean Basket! Sushi is delightfully fresh, and there is a large variety of options. Mostly we opt for the seafood platters, which is an absolute feast!

Never uber on ...ocean basket. The fish dries out badly and the chips is literally not edible esp after a 20 min waiting period. And try correcting a wrong delivery !!! # you will be beta off going to bed as the driver gets lost and ......they just too expensive!!! Is it my imagination or the uber menu is more expensive?....hmmm.BTW. The manager is a good guy.

Food was good and the staff were friendly.My only grip was when we arrived to a pretty much empty place some of the tables were dirty. We had to wait while our table was being cleaned. Staff stood around while it was tables stood dirty.

This is a great Ocean Basket, the waitrons here are always friendly. We have a few preferences when it comes to how out fish is cooked and they accommodated all our needs.

Disappointing visit to this restaurant. we had a platter for two where the hake fillets were tiny and all of the food was cold except the chips. This franchise really needs to do some training with their staff - the waiters are poor and dont know how to interact with customers at all. Wont be going back in a hurry

Had a very nice meal. Everything was sanitized and appropriate distances are kept between tables. All staff wears masks and sanitizer is available at the door and paypoint.

The fish bites were over fried and very hard, complained to the waiter, did nothing about it, very disappointing. Spoke to the lady which she was the manager, she said she would have the chef, nothing else. Will not visit there again

We had a good supper. We had an issue with the fish - and instead of just redoing the fish, They replaced the WHOLE MEAL!! Totally unexpected. Thank you. The food was great, bread fresh, service super friendly.

I would give zero stars if I could..I wasnt a fan of that particular branch but thought Id give it another try. Was taken to a table but sat for 20minutes with absolutely no interest from any of the many waiters hanging around. I eventually left, got a feeble sorry from the guy that seated us but still no interest. Bad smell in the place as well which made me lose my appetite. Definitely would not recommend.

Clean and nice food. And they take covid.19 regulations seriously.

Some days its good, others its not so good. The food sometimes is so dry, it doesnt have enough lemon butter sauce. And once it had a lot of lemon butter sauce but it was too lemony I couldnt eat it. Because they have an outside area there are a lot of flies that land in your food and you are not given that lamp to repel them.

Quick service, excellent quality of food considering we are 6 hours away from the nearest sea. Very impressed and definitely be back. Chips were cold but it was sent back and replaced within 2 minutes, keep it up!

Used to be fantastic now very poor. Manager never moves from his seat to check on customers. Bread the texture of stone. Main course much too quick and not cooked properly. Disappointing ....

I walked into the store waiter was very rude not willing to help or assist. Asked them to move the fan side so we could sit did not not even try to assist us just said no. We have never had a problem here before but the service we got today would never bring me back into that particular restaurant. Drove a little further to Bedford ocean basket and got 100% better service with friendly staff.

Ob stoneridge 0n 09 2020, had a better experience than at John dory greenstone. We got bread, that John dory are to poor to give. The time around was fantastic with excellent service. Sarah the waitress was excellent but The manager looked a bit tired. 5 star experience.

Very nice food great experience

It would get a five star if it wasnt so noisy inside. Like most restaurants these days, there are no sound absorbing materials. Every surfaces is hard and sound bounces all over and becomes a cacophony. Then if you want to have a conversation, you have to speak above the noise. So if that happens for each table, the noise becomes too much. Just some sound absorbing surfaces would make the world of difference.
