Ive eaten at the mad Italian several times and its always a great experience. Survice is amazing and the food is really good. We had a steak, a few pizzas, a focaccia, pasta, and a few deserts which were great. Awesome place.

A small but comfortable place to enjoy heavenly Italian food. With interior designing and music that can take you to Italy and back!Service was alright, starters took more than 15 minutes to arrive, however it was worth it.Starters included, prawns, calamari, chicken livers. All were delicious, as were the mains, which included pizza and pasta. Presentation is a bit sloppy, but the taste overides all of that. Compliments to the chef!Definitely suggest you take a trip to experience this delightful little place. Really good for families.

Great wait staff who remember regulars and gave us newbies such excellent suggestions about whats best. Fair price for amazing food. Will definitely come back, no doubt.

There is so much authenticity in this place, the setting, the food and even the wallpaper! Definitely value for money and had me taking doggie bags home! Will definitely be back for my 3rd time pretty soon :)

Must say the peri peri chicken was not great. Pre made and a bit dry. Everyone else had a good meal though.

We came there with high expectations as I know I had ate there about 9 years ago and either had a pizza or a pasta and I remember that it was very tasty. My wife and I both ordered pasta. We shared our meals with each other as well. We had the Di Mare Pasta and the Gamberi Pasta. The Gamberi Pasta was very taste and had good amounts of flavour. The Di Mare Pasta however dissappointed as it did not really have decent amounts of flavour. In flavour I am however not talking about heat but about flavour/taste. Perhaps it is the pizza which I had many years back that have impressed me quite a bit.

Tasty food, with really good, genuine service. I had my two dogs with me, and they made such an effort. Extensive menu, small and intimate. They have proper fresh garlic and lots of parmesan!

Have always been fond of their Italian taste. I asked for a specific ingredient the last time and recently they delivered on that ingredient in my last order. Very pleased about that, however the sauce in the pasta dishes seem a little too less, its like maybe two serving spoons less. In my latest two dishes I had plain pasta left over and no sauce to accommodate :/ other than that, tasty :)

Casual dining. Feels like a trattoria. Lively Italian music. Owner is friendly. Pizza and pasta,salads ad meat dishes on the menu. Staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the veg brushetta and the foccaccia napolitana. Will recommend.

Hi Guys , something positive and hopefully can improve customer experience - i ordered a pizza on way home from a busy day , arrived a little more than 20 mines afterwards to collect ...and no order action ed by kitchen staff- i asked what happened and there seemed to be a issue with kitchen staff not receiving and processing the order as required - guess a normal sop - so what happened - felt quite uncomfortable as there was silence .....indicating no leader to offer a solution to my hungry tum , so i left and ordered from Pashas and was well received and got a great experience - nice pizza - so just possibly if someone is able to look at what went wrong - was it a simple oversight or lack of processing capacity in the kitchen , mutiny ? , not sure but would be great if for your own good that some investigation is done , to scared to try a call in again as if a repeat then will have to wait 50 mins for a pizza after a long day of .....

Supposedly an Italian speciality restaurant. Placed a takeout order with Andrew for linguini who confirmed they had it and also for a half portion foccaccio which he said they could do. Phoned back later to say oops they cant do half portions but confirmed the linguini. Collected sealed pasta. When I got home they gave me fettuccine instead of linguini. Phoned Andrew and spoke to a manager Junior who said they dont have linguini. No apology or offers to refund or credit. If you dont know your pasta then dont claim expertise. Appalling service and bad attitude.

Service was amazing... Once the hostess got you seated. Food..not so much. I had ingredients missing from my main dish. And the creme brulee was ice cold in the middle and hot on the top from the sugar. Very strange contrast. Waiters were very welcoming and intuitive though.

Have enjoyed all our meals at The Mad Italian. We normally go at lunchtime. The waiters are excellent and friendly. The meals delicious. Ciders and wines, chilled to perfection. The red wine was at the ideal temperature, which most restaurants are unable to achieve.

They know how to make pizza. Wafer thin and they very kind. Coffee just as nice. Waiters very sweet, really care about you.

I would go back any day

Ordered a take away Napolitana. The pasta was undercooked and difficult to chew and the sauce had little flavor even after adding salt. The staff were warm and welcoming, however, the food was dissapointing.
