The service is good and regular checks by the waiters. A variety of healthy food option with indications on the menu.Preparation of the food took quite a bit of time and food lacks flavor. Some of the meals are for people with an acquired taste. Menu has a few draughts on but on Stella Artois available. Glasses hung up to dry, are visibly dirty.The area is nice and open with a nice atmosphere.

Had an enjoyable meal here yesterday. Our waiter was friendly and pleasant. The meal took forever though even though we were there before the lunch rush. An overall ok experience, but didn’t think it was amazing.

Went yesterday (27 April) with my 2 kids. We all ordered a pizza each, but then had to wait 40 minutes before they arrived. I really feel that the female waitress could have been more attentive to our needs as she was slow & full of excuses… The pizzas came and they were lovely, although I had to ask for more parmesan cheese as the first was so inadequate (see image)…

This is definitely my favorite restuarant, the food is always fresh and yummy, the dishes are well prepared and smell delicious. Im never disappointed by the food here. Food is also very decently priced for the proportions served.

Went with a friend for lunch time pizza. Mine was okay, with minimal chicken topping, not great. Hers (chicken and RAW mushroom) was a bit too salty. Not the ideal place to go to for pizza if you do not eat pork, too many pork topping options. Good atmosphere.

Last night called at 6-23pm and placed an order and was told to collect in 20 minutes. Went at 6-45pm and waitress says order is coming out pls wait 5 for minutes. At 7-05pm ask for manager to explain why order is taking 45minutes, he says waitress forget to place order. Absolutely terrible service. Shocking service, restaurant was not even busy Had about 10 people sitting inside and she forget to place order then lies about it

Although sevice was excellent..the store needs more waiters. We are vegetarian and enquired whether utensils are kept separately. Manager personally came and reassured us that he will oversee our pizza been prepared. It would be nice if they can introduduce more vegan options like vegan chicken etc

My wife and I always enjoy our meal at ColCacchio in Gateway. This time, we took the, well, not-so-little kids along as well. The toppings on the pizza are always fresh - some still have an element of crunchiness (if thats even a word) 🙂 The staff are incredibly friendly to boot! So, to sum up : the foods good, the staffs good. What else is there? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Apparently it’s a chain but I’m new to SA so none the wiser.Fantastic salad selection!! And even a low carb section for those of us (trying) to bant.Coffee was great, service friendly. Borderline slow, but it’s absolutely packed in here at the moment.Would definitely come again just for the salad variety.

Visited colcacchio gateway over the weekend with my wife, i must say the service was great, the lady manager was exceptional, she was very helpfull, full of jokes & full of life, everytime she came to the table she left us laughing. Amazing base perfect amount of cheese and toppings, has always been a firm favourite and looks to stay that way. The food did take a bit long but was worth the wait in the end.

Excellent vegan food options and very accomodating and friendly staff :) I only wish their vegan desert was still on the menu, or available the evening I went there. Delicious food though!

The nacho libre, for those who love avo, is the ONE! It’s chicken, avo and sour cream, reminiscent of Mexican food on a pizza. It’s a bit pricey and worth it. The crust is thin, crisp it and soft at the same time...and the fact that it’s wood oven pizza gives it that extra flare of authenticity. For vege lovers there are some great options, the caramlized onion on the principessa is to die for. You can’t go wrong here.

The food and wait staff service was great, but unfortunately the milkshake we ordered for our toddler arrived with a big shard of glass in it, when we brought this to the attention of the manager he said he would investigate but we never saw him again, and when our bill arrived it included the cost of R44 for a vanilla milkshake, which we paid. Wont ever be back.

Great family restaurant. They have unique pizzas and real authentic pasta. We are never disappointed when we go there. My daughter loves the food there and their DUI mocktail is my ultimate favorite. All round a great night out for couples or families

Great food. Good service. Been here a few times. This night though we were advised their card machine was down and we had to go get cash from the ATM. I asked if their Zapper is working and they said yes it is. My issue why did they not inform clients they can use Zapper rather than only having to pay CASH only. Seemed a bit dodge to me.

Food is great! The menu had too many options, at least 20 different types of pizza to choose from, so it definitely took a while to make a decision. Our waitress rushed us quite a bit and eating there got a little uncomfortable due to the rush.But all in all, it was a nice little restaurant with good food.

Prices a little high maybe but acceptable. Tuesday is buy one get one free on pizzas and they also have a loyalty program that you can join. I think how it works, is you get a percentage of your bill as a discount on your next visit.

Very avearge pizza. Nothing to complain about but nothing that will make me go back. If I feel like a pizza in Gateway, and their is nowhere else, then I might eat their again.

This was my first time at this store.There was a distinct feeling of a lack of management this morning (which is sad, because ColCacchio sells a great product, and Ive only had good experiences at other stores). The cappuccinos were cold, one pizza arrived with one of the toppings missing, the replacement topping was brought to us cold on a side plate, we had to request condiments (which come standard on the table), and one of the menus was missing one of the main pages. These are not reasons to never return (after all the pizzas were delicious, and the coffee great when it was hot), but they do smack of lazy management.

Always an amazing place to spend time with the family! Our waiter was excellent, full of energy and knew the menu well. However, it was a disappointment to find out certain pizzas werent available. Secondly, we had a vegetarian at the table who ordered a suitable pizza only to find pieces of chicken on top. This was a massive disappointment.

My first time experience at this place really surprised me! Firstly I came there very hungry, irritable and undecided (as I was unfamiliar with their menu). Leah (our waitron) was super patient, I chopped and changed a lot!!! And finally I decided on the zucchetti pesto with chicken. Needless to say that I cant remember the last time I was so satisfied with a restaurant meal! Thanks to Leah and Angel you guys made my day!

The food was served cold and dry. We paid R80 for pita filling which was supposed to be a salad. Pizza toppings were almost non existent and there was no vegan cheese as per the menu.

Although the food was good the service was lacking completely... we got wet wine glasses for our sangria and when I asked for them to be dried I got given paper serviettes.. and the mixed berry sangria only had cherries... no fresh strawberries as stated on the menu
