What an amazing place to enjoy a delicious coffee or an incredible breakfast right on the beach. There are options to sit outside or inside, or even grab your favourite to go. The staff are colourful and friendly and there are so many amazing options to choose. Coffee, sunshine and a view...what a winner 😁

Beautiful setting and popular with early morning walkers, runners and cyclists. Great cappuccinos. Certainly a place for a quick snack. Staff however, a bit relaxed with COVID protocol. Mask wearing inside did not seem compulsory.

The waiters are friendly and the food was okay, but I was served food on a rusted enamel plate. Also, one kitchen worker threw out dirty water on the grass near our table. I did enjoy the view of the sea. It has great potential if cleaned up a bit.

So, in case you are looking for an absolutely Durban breakfast experience that will suit your pocket and make you smile, then you have to visit the Bike And Bean on the beachfront promenade (about half way between the blue lagoon end & Sun Coast Casino). As the name suggests- there are bicycles you can hire by the hour at very reasonable rates (cant wait to try the tandem!) and when you are finished your morning activities, you can sit and relax with your family - enjoy the excellent grub & coffee or shoot the breeze with the down-to-earth owner, Gregg Albert, who is always ensuring his patrons are happy.I try get there every Sunday morning, as it sets the tone for a brilliant day.Service with a smile and hits the mark every time, but dont take my word for it.....go check it for yourself!

I love Bike and Bean. Its the perfect place to enjoy an early morning cup of coffee. It has a great set up so even if it is raining you can still enjoy a cuppa and they have the best Chai lattes...in my humble opinion. Plus they are open super early, 6am most days and 5:30am on a Friday.

This is done while sitting at your point stall , Belgian waffle was cold and dry , as seen from the non-melting ice cream, it has a raw taste while being dense.Terrible experience for the price you pay , others do this better and will not charge you extra set of plastic utensils when sharing is a bit excessive even when taking environment into consideration

5 star because of location, ambiance and the value that the spot offers. Coffee is good, which Im often critical of... Only thing is the food is so-so, but its very reasonably priced and fits the vibe of the place, so thats more a personal thing than a criticism of the place.
