North Beach Cafe is famous for its Bunny Chow and delicious curries. The food is delicious and I always go back for the bunny chow. The waiters are friendly and very helpful. The view of the beach and the warm friendly spirit of the Durbanites makes this place a firm favorite.

Here on a Sunday morning, asked if the curry was yesterdays before ordering...They said its fresh...Well my Mutton bunny arrived with old curry... Wasnt quite surprised..Dont recommend this place...

They have the most amazing chicken tikka in the whole of Durban! They care about their customers and give that extra sauce and masala without hesitation or extra charge. Very friendly service. Would highly recommend this place if youre a chicken tikka lover.

Staff are very helpful and pleasant. They go out of their way to assist the clients. It is very well stocked for such a small cafe. All daily needs are available.

Extremely high prices and stock on shelves are old and some literally faded. No Covid protocols were followed.Alot of loitering outside the store.

A little pricy but the mutton bunny is delicious. They have a small convenience store as well if you need anything.

This place is really really useful if you stay in the area. You neednt go to a Spar or PicknPay when you can just come here and get most of the essential things you need. As far as the cafe is concerned, the food is quite good but there are competing places close by that have it at a cheaper price.I would definitely visit again.

This is for the early bird. People that loves feeling the wind blowing over their skin and the smell of the beach water. You basically sit outside, cause theres no seating provided indoors. Must admit, it has a cool vibe to it.What I did notice was, allot of elderly people. So, it might have been just for that morning.Check it out.Enjoy!

Small cafe and take away with great beach views. I ordered 2 lamb breyanis and 1 kebab and roti. The drinks ordered were very well presented. Was impressed. The food however lacked the authenticity of Indian food. I ordered lamb but was sure that I got mutton. The taste was ok but also very oily. Salad accompaniments were good. The kebab taste was good except that the kebabs were burnt when frying. Great service from both owner and waiter. Good place to hang out for some drinks and snacks. Good music playing made for great ambience but I would not go back for the food unfortunately.
