Nice open park for kids to play and ride their bikes, even the bigger kids enjoyed kicking a ball around, lovely to have a breakfast or lunch, the food is out of this world, top restaurant quality! a little hidden location wise though...

Well priced good food but the waiters dont pay attention to guests. There is a relaxed couch area, a high stool bar area and a normal table area. So it accommodates families with kids or adults only groups. Theres is a kids play area and you can skate as well. Accessibility is not well sign posted unless you already know about the place. There is ample free parking.

Great venue, great setting for our fundraiser at People Park Moses Mabhida Stadium. Also popped in to have a quick coffee and breakfast and it was delicious. Quick service and very nice hot coffee. Was a awesome day filled with fun and supporting disable people. We will most definitely make use of the venue in the future.

Discovered this gem after searching high low for a place to take my son. Took his bicycle and decided to go try it. Its a must for anyone with kids. The restaurant is worth going to however dont expect quick and fast service, with That said you are there to relax and not in a rush. I ordered the Burger and Chips and was pleasantly surprised. Big burger and everything was fresh. Cant wait to try the wraps.They were very busy as it was a Saturday, but food came in good time so I was happy.You dont have to sit at the restaurant, take a picnic and relax under the trees as so many did last saturday.You will see us again very soon!

Awesome place for kids, nothing much for parents and teens

Service is slow, but food is good. Sad that the park and surroundings of the stadium is so neglected.

Nice and simple park for kids.

Lovely place to take kiddies to keep them entertained at a low cost. You can even take your picnic lunch there just tidy up & children can play freely and safely. Best part is there is a restaurant there too where the big people can drink coffee whilst we watch the children playing.

Awesome place to take kids for a day. Drinks not too overpriced also. Take along kids bikes scooters skateboards rollerblades or roller skates. Lots of space and flat surface to ride. You can also hire go cart type bicycles for kids adults. Shady trees for parents to relax and have a picnic. Friendly staff and lovely seating with a lounging area. Cool inside for hot days. Dint forget kids suncaps and sunblock!

Happy to see it open again. Breakfast was good and service very attentive. Kids loved the playground.

Awesome surprise cafe, went for an early morning photo shoot and noticed them setting up. Very good quality breakfast for a more than decent price and great coffee. Menu has quite a selection and the staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit, if you there often could easily become a frequent stop

The park is great and a safe venue for kids to run and play while parents can relax and watch comfortably. The food is pretty good and value for money but the service needs some attention.

I absolutely love peoples park. A free beautifully kept that kids can enjoy the whole day. Only problem I have is with the children that beg . Most look like they are on drugs as u see them with glue. They come basically demanding food from u . Security needs to be stepped up

Great for kids to play and have a lovely time. Affordable prices and yummy food options. Alcohol is also sold on the premises. There is an oval where one can ride a bicycle or jog, in the middle soccer fields. It is clean and secure.

This place has massive potential but the furniture and seating feels tired and the attentiveness from waiters is far from impressive. Yes, it is a place to have a coffee while your child plays on the jungle gym, but make a great coffee and a delicious toasted sandwich and Ill be there. Worth a re-visit but if you willing to sacrifice a decent coffee and an average meal whole the kids play then its perfect.

Needs better service and not very clean but food good and affordable

Now this is a lovely park where you can rent some bikes for the whole family to ride around and get fit. There is also a restaurant on site for a refreshing drink and a bit after the bicycle ride. And all affordable too!

I loved this spot. wow the service was amazing the food was gorgeous, I was honestly surprised to find such a amazing spot. they closed during the week but the weekends are better now that I found this place. I would recommend this place for a enjoyable quient place to enjoy a bite to eat

Great set location looked over by Moses Mabhida stadium. The food is is good but not gourmet.Kids will have a ball in the surrounding play park.Running tracks are available too.

Food is okay. But the service is terribly slow. Waiters stand and talk together and dont really check up on customers. Disappointing as this happens every time we are there. Understand when its busy but we have gone when things are a bit quite. Some room for customer service improvement.

Coffee was average I make better at home. Waitron did not know what an americano was. Computers were down.... had to come back to get a simple filter coffee. Saving grace is the barrister actually did know what an americano was and was more attentive....

Best part about this park is the jungle gym suited to my 1 year old who is not yet walking. They accommodate all ages of children there.

Food is good and reasonably priced. Service has been good most times but disappointing the last time. Long wait, order was wrong, etc.

My kid loves splashing in the little water feature out front while we grab a quick brekkie. Excellent swings and jungle gym too.

Shocking service.....took 35min to get a cuppichino and creme soda. I have come here many times as it is great for kids and just to chill. my experience today was absolutely shock. And to round it off the manager just stands there and looks at u while u complain to waiter......

We actually took my grandson there to ride his bicycle and this place if perfect for that. We did get cooldrinks from the càfe and service was quick and efficient.

A decent menu which is very well priced. Undercover seating, with a view of some of the play area. Friendly waitrons. Casual light and healthy meals serves. There is also a bar area.

Lovely, chilled family day out.Toilets are available. Pack a picnic basket or get something from the Peoples Park Cafe(unfortunately not halaal). Take your bikes, rollerblades, skateboard etc. Theres place for soccer and cricket too.

The idea is great. But unfortunately the apparatus is falling apart and the restaurant has bad service. Other wise is great for kids to play.

The cafe seems to be operating as always, but the peoples park itself has lost some shine and 2010 world cup freshness. Some of the jungle gyms are broken. There seems to be some renovation in progress.

A good place for the family to go out and sit for a drink or ice cream whilst waiting the kids playing. Lacks a bit of entertainment or and activities but good for kids at the park.

Just needs a bit more “tlc” from the staff - friendly, but a hugh effort to clean a table after others had left. South Africans don’t really care about how bad they leave a place, but if one is paid to clean up then that is what they signed up to do.

The perfect spot to bring the kids, there is a play park to keep them busy while you enjoy the restaurants amazing breakfast (try the eggs benedict!).

I often come to this park its one of the most nice and clean places, its children friendly. You can come with your children and have some fun playing games at the park.

This is a terrible place to take the kids. The entire place is fenced up with one opening on the opposite side of the seating area so very unsafe to let kids play while you sit. Equipment is in need of repairs. No security around

The park and play area offer a great space for families to play and ride. The restaurant however, was a terrible experience. A simple toasted sandwich order took forever and when it did arrive, it wasnt what we had ordered. The manager was unapologetic and just made excuses, saying hell make it up to us next time. There wont be a next time. What a wasted business opportunity. Parents always seem held hostage by these places because their kids can play..
