Lovely space to have a relaxed brunch/ breakfast. I had the mushroom, feta and pesto sandwich with salad. It was so filling and tasty! The covid protocols were good. Tables had space between them and the service was quick and efficient.

5 star service. Big variety menu. Food great and lovely iced coffee. Sweetcorn fritter was more like a sweetcorn cake with too much batter and not much sweetcorn. They could halve the batter and the sweetcorn ratio would then be much tastier and more manageable to finish. Very friendly efficient staff.

I never thought they would be able to match the fantastic service and food I get at the Hillcrest Mayfair - but yes they did! Great setting; efficient staff and good food.

This place was a lucky find. Food was good and service was excellent. We visited everyday for lunch on our long weekend in March. We went through most of the menu with our big family and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Good for breakfast goers, but if youre at the Durban North branch, and youre anything besides a white person, prepare for some stares and glares, the host is excellent, staff is excellent, however the manager will literally just ignore you and not check your experience if youre not a white person. I do not ever speak about racism on my reviews unless its blatantly obvious that Im being profiled.Good food though. No complaints there.

We visited Mayfair Cafe today for lunch. Although it was fairly busy, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and were seated almost immediately. The waiter was well informed and knowledgeable about the menu and was able to assist us with our meal choices. Especially as one of our party was vegetarian, the waiters knowledge of the menu ensured that he had a delicious and filling meal.The Budha Bowl (veg) consisted of, black beans, sweet corn, salsa, avocado slices, and salad with a divine tasting dressing. Other meals that our party ordered were, chicken breast with roasted Mediterranean vegetables (delicious). Chicken burger and chips ( big, juicy patty with a crunchy coating, tomato, crisp lettuce, with salad dressing, crunchy gherkin and a spicy, tangy home made peri peri sauce.) Panini ( mushrooms, feta, pesto). The pineapple juice that one of our party ordered was fresh and refreshing.The meals arrived hot and within a short time. The service was excellent. The food was delicious.Overall a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!!!

With 45 minutes till my next meeting, popped in for a toastie and iced coffee. While taking my order I told the lovely waitress that I was in a rush and just like that my meal was sitting infront of me within 10 minutes. Excellent service! And the food amazing as always…

Always busy ! But the service is great, I found my new favorite breakfast, corn fritter eggs Benedict! Amazing! The atmosphere is played back, theres sweets at the entrance you can choose from after you pay your bill a nice chose over some mass produced mints in your bill folder. They have alot of healthy options which is why they are the favorite in a area so densely populated with restaurant

This little gem is one of the best cafés you will find. Subtle touches like being greeted personally at the door as you arrive, along with the prompt, friendly service you receive from the waitrons, sets Mayfair apart from the rest.The selection of meals is comprehensive and varied and the food is thoughtfully prepared and is delicious and filling. I love coming to Mayfair, they can brighten up a dull week!

By far one of my favourite places for breakfast! The food was great, the coffee was great and the service is good too. Waiters are properly trained and the manager keeps an eye on things. Ill definitely be back to try the wide variety of interesting meals

Now I call this the Fast and Furious restuarant ,with a smile. They have a great energy. I have been attended to like a celebrity. The service is great. Well done to the staff and management. The food of high standard too. Would support them again. It was busy, but book a table and go to do shopping at Woolies or Checkers. By the time your done, your table will be ready.

We were taken there for a treat by friends. Best treat ever. Excellent COVID protocols. I had sweet potato rosti, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Scrumptious!! The others had French toast, and really crispy bacon. Definitely going back for seconds.
