It has been a while since I had such nice meals at any Spur for that matter.Spicy wings were really spicy and juicy.Except for the special ribs that were cold I really had a great time.I wish all of the Spurs could be like that

Our lunch was lovely at spur inside the garden court in town.We ordered the rib burger with chips and the half chicken with veggies

Nice a quiet you can see your kids play. Restroom are clean. I was disappointed with there Ribs it was half cooked and I didnt have to energy to complain.

Restaurant is really warm and welcoming! Would like to appreciate the managers Sheldon and Diana for kind reception. Special thanks to Helen as she prepared fantastic vegetarian fried rice in Indian style! Being a vegetarian is quite a challenge but her culinary skills made me change my thought!

Very nice place. First time visiting but heres what happened 😄We waited about 45 minutes for our food as the restaurant was overcrowded.The waitress got our orders mixed up two times: I asked for the kiddies waffle and got a bar one instead; I asked for chips as a side and I got veggies🤦🏾‍♀️😄Best part, we had some calamari in our chicken strips.I think Ill stick to your Musgrave branch but I give it 4⭐ because the food was fresh and well cooked and the atmosphere was great.😉

Great location in an upmarket hotel. Large but sitting cubicles are not spacious. Food quite the downside to the promise of the ambience and brand. Big disappointment. At least the pizza was meaty and deliciously crusty

What a great first experience I have just had at Malibu Spur. I have been meaning to visit this branch for the longest time and I am so glad I eventually did.It was my sister’s birthday yesterday and I was tied up, couldn’t take her out. I decided to make this a family day (my sister and our kids). The food was devine, friendly waitress (Nelisiwe) and a hospitable manager (Helen).I have just found a new favourite spot.

Meat was green!!! My girlfriend had a steak that was green near the bone - look at the photo. The waiter way amuzed by that and was jocking with that. Considering the stuff, this restaurant is the total opposite to the same restaurant in the harbour (Wilsons wharf).

The restaurant is great. Its quiet and the wait staff are attentive. It is inside a hotel so that means the outside could be a busy and parking may be hard to find. The beachfront has a lot of parking though so if youre willing to walk a little youll be fine.

Good portioned comfort food, a power outlet at my table so my phone never died, Brandon and other managers were very attentive, conversational and interest in small improvements suggested. Great for kids with a TV displaying the play area in the main restaurant. Buffet looked amazing, just had little space to try it all. Reasonable price for season coastal cuisine. Thanks all and best of luck for year 2.

2 times visited, but second one was bad one. Wrong kind of steak was delivered (Theres difference for fillet and NY),it was over done, they tried to charge sauce that was missing. Why would you go somewhere if there is possibility that it may bee good half of times you visit?

Excellent service.Staff are polite and so pleasant. Such a relaxed atmosphere.The manager Sheldon is so helpful and always goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Food is always good. Our favorite place to eat.

One star the only thing I enjoyed was a salad and the cocktail the meat all of it was blare with no taste what do ever. The service was a bit unfair but the waiters were a friendly. Thanks I will come again enjoyed the view and the place

This is by far the best Spur in South Africa! We are from Klerksdorp and this is the best... They are friendly, attentive, good with the kids and the food is out of this world!

The location is more than perfect and the food is standard, at best. Not wowed. Not too disappointed either.

We are very sad today, having had such a lovely meal and service in December to having a horrid experience today.We arrived for breakfast at about 10.55am we asked for lemon water ,we asked for the breakfast menu and we were told hurry up breakfast was about to end, we answered, yes and she told us we better place our order right now as it was closing .We asked for lemon water ...never arrived we got ice water only.We asked for 2 unreal breakfasts, with extras toast , pork sausages , coffee ,my wife got hers and then we had to wait about 5 min before my meal arrived, swimming in oil...I called the waitress back who went to sort that problem out only to find when she returned the meal ...I had asked for soft eggs I had been given hard fried eggs after the lady manager brought back my plate of food no apology for the inconvenience for the food being taken away from the table twice, the next the waitress comes back to the table to say ,are you happy now , ????what type of approach is that.We had lots of flies flying around us and the waitress brought us a glass with mint in it , the problem with the mint was that it was black and the flies were sitting on it.Really a horrible breakfast experience. I love spur and the food , the atmosphere and the family vibe are a lovely thing to help make theVisit to spur something to enjoy. Except that this time it was horrible.

Poor service, We had to ask to be seated which was really unpleasant, rarely any staff in sight. Very noisy and the music is too loud. My wife ordered a chicken, bacon and avo salad and when it arrived it had no croutons and the chicken was dry.I ordered a sirloin steak medium rare, one half was medium rare and the other was rare. It had too much sauce and too little chips and when it came I had no cutlery. We ordered a virgin pina colada but it was prepared with alcohol.All in all just really a bad experience. Waitress was barely around to check in on us and I had to go and look for the bill myself.

Thanks saving our night guys. We were from Roma revolving and the experience there was sooo bad. We came in and you guys managed to save the night. It was my sister in laws birthday. There were few glitches but its ok, you guys were way better and we enjoyed our meals. Thanks you. Our Durban experience was great.

Wonderful service, we had a great dinner, they where very good with kids they had lots of fun and was looked after well so that we can eat our food peacefully. My husaband enjoys the steak and me the chicken.

We went as a family of 14 people, including 5 kids for our evening meals over the long weekend. The food was on point, met the Spur standard but I am afraid the service was terrible. We waited too long for our order and the waitress kept missing order items and was forever absent from our tables, never even once did she come to check on us after she had served our meals, she was running around all over the place I felt so sorry for her because she had to attend to a crazy numerous tables alone, they were clearly under staffed and I found that disappointing because it was along weekend and surely the management would have anticipated a large crowd. Though the restaurant was not fully packed, the staff simply could not manage. Not happy at all.👎🏾
