All the way from the Free State and had an excellent experience , several times. Staff was friendly and helpful. Kids were safe and looked after.

I am giving it a 4 star, kids area needs more ventilation, and early in the morning when it was quiet, my daughter picked up an old chip from the ground...Overall experience, staff is super helpfull, and play area really amazing for all ages.Thank you for making our holiday a good one.

Strict Covid-19 safety adherence👍👍Sister and I went to Georgia Spur Shelley Centre.We both ordered the Goodie Burgers will milkshakes.Those Goodie Burgers are goodie (nudge-nudge, wink-wink).Try them. If you dont like pineapple on your food, then you should still try them anyway.Onion rings divine and also the french fries. The burger sauce was mushroom I think. Im sorry, I cant remember now. It was yummy of course.Our waitress was just as nice as the vibe in that place. 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖😁😁😁

Good day everyone. Well today was my first time that I felt that the Spur brand was not up to standard. We ordered Calamari and the special on the Ribs, but what was suppose to be a good day out to the Spur was very disappointing. The Ribs was under done and not soft as usual. No bowl of clean lemon water to rinse your fingers while you eat , I had to ask for it , just to be told they do not do it like that any more. I also had to ask for a plate to put the bones in and the napkins and cutlery was not brought on a plate as I know the norm all over is. We also had to wait long and ask again if some one can service our table. My mother in-law that likes Spur even commented that they will not see her again due to the poor quality of service. We did tell them that the Ribs was not done when we payed.

Wow the staff is so friendly & welcoming.. so caring .. required u to stay more with their kindness & the kids place is awesome. Enjoyed every moment

Best schnitzel, I have had in a long, long time.

Slow unfriendly service, knives and forks etc just thrown onto table ,no side plates , chips burnt and kiddies pizza under done.

I have never been to Georgia Spur, and was pleasantly surprised.Our waitress Valencia was attentive and nothing was too much trouble for her. The food was excellent, thank you Chefs.I will go again.I would like to know do the chefs get tip money?

Could not place order as all their telephones were not working. Eventually placed my order per sms after calling Shelley center Management who gave me the Managers phone number. He also did not pick up the phone but at least responded to my sms. Burger, chips and onion rings were very nice. The Nachos Mexicana was a great disappointment. I have never eaten it before and wanted to try something new. As it was not ready made but I had to combine the dish myself. I was clueless. I ended up tasting only the nachos, cheese and some sauce which was in the nachos. It tasted horrible. Could not eat it. Wasted over R74 on the Nachos meal. Better to eat in store definitely or just order a burger and chips for delivery.

We had a lovely time. Our waitress was helpful, knowledgable and friendly. The child minders in the play area made sure our kids were safe. The restaurant was busy, but our food arrived in decent time and was perfectly done.On another note, I found a contradiction on the menu. The waiter laughed at it and said shell call the manager. We had a good laugh, but the manager messed it up by lying to me.From where I sat, I could see the kitchen heat desert in the microwave oven, but he insisted that all the desert items were made fresh in store. The waitress confirmed that one item was bought and heated in the mic.The contradiction, which I thought was funny:On top of the menu: All our desert items are made fresh in store.At the bottom: Our deserts are made in a factory that use nutsSo which is it? Lol!!

Tables were filthy dirty wiped with a serviette and it was black called manageress she said she will take it up with staff instead she threw it in dustbin. Where is the sanitation protocol to clean before being seated.

Went for a meal. The service was disgusting. Our food was good but that is all I can say about it. We sat in the smoking section. The waitress was mopping the floors. She eventually took our order which came quite quickly. Our dirty ashtray was left on the table and not changed. Whilst eating the waitress decided she would carry on mopping the floor next to our table. We asked her to please stop. After we had finished eating we sat with the dirty plates on the table for over half an hour and no one in sight. The restaurant was very quiet. We got up and went to the till to request to see the manager to lodge a complaint about our experience. She promised us it would get sorted out and apologised. We were then invited to come for a breakfast 2 days later but they would confirm. Needless to say we have heard nothing from them. If u want good food and NO service then its the place to be

Perfect food and good customer service I had a great time

Meat wasnt cooked right, asked for veg with my steak, got chips and onion rings, and no sauces or salt and pepper on the table. Not in a hurry to go back to that Spur.

Great food. Staff were loud when speaking to each other across the room. Our waitress kept doing the disappearing act. We were given an incorrect bill. The waitress was not wearing her name tag, therefore unable to identify her. We forgot to use our Spur membership card and she did not mention it. Its frustrating because Spur always offer excellent service.

Will not recommend this Spur. Noisy and unproffesional staff. Moved tables 3 times to find a table where we could hear ourselves talking. Coffees were cold and presented sloppy. General vibe is loud. Waiters are friendly but bad vibe.

Took my wife and kids there for mothers day. Was the worst experience ever starters was ice cold , mains was an absolute nightmare!!! I will never eat there again even if they pay me!!! Bad mark for you spur! Very bad!!!!

Very friendly staff, who deserve 5 stars each! Food and cleanliness excellent as any Spur.Kids play area was great!! Varied ptay ground with several different activities spread in 3 separate zones. The lady in charge when we were there was fantastic at keeping the boisterous kids in line while being sensitive to the gentler kids.

Most of the food got to the table cold... serious case of Honey I Shrunk the Portions... cream spinach🤮... seems as though the watering down the salad dressing sauce with vinegar. Overall terrible experience especially as our party spent over R2000 on the food.

Really enjoyed visiting this Spur yesterday. The service was quick and the play area is absolutely great. My son had a ball there. I would however recommend more child minders for that large play area which means we can enjoy our meal whilst the kids are looked after. Will definitely return to this branch again 👍🏻

We go to Spur often and the service to differ from Spur to Spur. It is not uncommon to find good service at Spur but rarely to we get excellent service. Georgia #Spur Shellie beach gave excellent service. Food was well prepared. We did not wait long for our food and the food was excellent. I would recommend Georgia #Spur anytime.

As vegans my wife and I received outstanding customer service from Mark who made sure that our veggie burgers and vegetable sides were made without diary. We were pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and understanding the staff were. We will definitely be back.

John Dorys was fabulous food , but sadly ordered coffee at 20h20 only to he told coffee machine had been switched off , so no coffee for the 4 of us. Disappointing

A lovely Spur branch! Fabulous service from Thando and a large kids play area with an on-the-ball supervisor. Allows you to eat in peace knowing that your children are well cared for.

Its not really easy to judge or rate whereas people are short staffed due to this pandemic situation. The rate may be based how theyre trying to fit the huge gap they have
