Had the most amazing gourmet waffle, together with the bar-one hot chocolate. An absolute treat for those with a sweet tooth. It was too much for me so I had a takeaway which my 5 year old devoured within minutes, so thats 2 happy customers!

Another welcome addition to the Florida Road strip. Specialist Artisan bakery & cafe.Newly opened but ready for business with friendly welcoming staff. We had really good flat whites which are accompanied by a biscuit in the shape of a heart ... feeling the love.Lovely outside area with lots of dappled light from the trees and large umbrellas too. The interior has a lovely homely feel.Bakery items are a plenty and we will definitely be back to sample the menu.Recommended.

Great venue for a meet up with friends with amazing smells coming from their freshly in house baked pastries and bread. Been their twice before and all went well, but alas not this time. A very unforgettable experience. The coffee was unusually bitter, had a burnt bean aftertaste. My ciabata sarmie with ham, cheese and tomato was both visually and tasting unsatisfying... Food made and served with no love. Anyways. It wasnt bad... But left there feeling disappointed. Now..., would I go back. Most definitely. Everyone has a bad day and possibly it was even me who was having one...will give them another try and hope for the best. But all in all... Definitely worth a stopover there.

Some most delicious fruity tea served in a silk bag.. Totally different and refreshing. A strawberry cream tart that must be the best one Ive ever tried.... And great service in a shady outdoor setting. I also need to buy a loaf of that gorgeous bread sometime.

Overall the service was not bad and the food was good. However, I did not receive the extras I ordered with my omlette and I was charged twice for one of the extras. Will visit again

Review of Florida Road Vovo Telo. I was really excited when I got to florida road vovo telo as our experience at the umhlanga branch was great. Hungry and post call, best combination. We are vegetarians and asked to swop out the bacon for avocado on the breakfast waffle on one of our breakfasts. Our waitress then said that the owner does not allow swops. She asked the owner/manager who refused the swop and said we should choose a cheaper topping ie mushroom. She doesnt have stock to swop one breakfast waffle. No flexibility nor did she come to talk to us. We are not fussy people, nor have I ever posted negative reviews of a place. Would have costed nothing for the owner to politely chat to us. Overall disappointed. The waitress apologised, however did not need to.

Kids Margherita pizza was big portioned and cheesy. Kids also liked the choc milkshakes. The tropical sode was very refreshing. Variety of veg options: enjoyed the avo and haloumi on ciabatta. Daughter had. The tomato and basil pasta, which was spicy and enjoyable.

Thought Id have an omelette for lunch but apparently not available after midday. Had to ask the unenthusiastic waitron for a menu but there was nothing to distinguish the offerings from those found in the hordes of chain restaurants in the vicinity. The only other creature in the establishment was a cat tethered to a chair. In these trying times a little more effort is required to tempt patrons in otherwise the writing is on the wall...

Ordered a roasted veg and avo pizza.Did not know it was vegan till arrived (no cheese)And was the best pizza i have eaten in durban. Felt like I ordered a pizza in Roma. Excellent service as well from the staff

Extremely slow service. Food wasnt even that great for the amount of time I had to wait for it. The coffee was awful and the side I received with my food was the most pitiful excuse for a salad I have ever seen.

Very disappointed in what could be a beautiful place establishment. Food was not close to Vovo Telo standard, my sons food arrived last which is a big problem for a parent with a hungry child. He is the only one that finished his food. Dont order a sandwich, dry and tasteless. The honey mustards chicken. Sandwich looked awful. We left and I didnt even eat. I firstly got given the wrong order, then given what I ordered in a takeaway box - Stale bread, barely edible. It was just taken away after I complained. Both our coffees were bland and took ages. Table that was seated 15 minutes after we got there, got attended to straight away before we were even asked for drinks.Cramped inside seating makes for waiters bumping into your chair constantly making the whole experience a lot worse.We drove all the way to La Lucia Mall afterwards to Nouriti to get me something to eat.

Happy to have Vovo Telo so close to home, but seems like there are some teething problems.My coffee arrived 20 minutes after placing the order. An orange juice that was ordered sat on the counter in plain sight for 10 minutes before it was brought to us. Our order was brought to us piecemeal.I ordered a breakfast with croissant. They ran out so I suggested ciabatta instead. When my breakfast arrived it was on an un-toasted panini roll. Another breakfast arrived with a fridge-cold piece of corn bread.The waitress seemed a little harrassed and confused. Having said that, her friendly and accommodating attitude made up for much.

50 minutes later. No food. Update: the food never arrived. I left.
