After my disappointing visit to this Spur few weeks back i was contacted by management of this spur who asked me to give them a chance to make things right.I went there today and was so pleasantly surprised at the complete 180° turn around regarding my order.which was spot on.everything like i asked for.i sat down with a lady Zandile who listened to my story and was the best at resolving this..the food i received today i would gladly pay for even if its double price would still be a bargain

Spur southway mall is a place I wouldnt ever eat at again. I ordered a cheddarmelt steak, which took almost an hour to arrive and to my surprise the steak was ROTTEN. It smelt awful. At first I thought it was the smell of a dampy cloth but when I brought the steak up to my nose I couldnt believe that I just ate something that smelt that bad.When the manager was called, he was very calm and just took my details. Offered to make me another steak which he says was cut today. Disappointed as to the way this was handled by the manager as if oh just another unhappy customer, so be it. Its been years coming to this spur and this is the first time Ive had to complain, also all staff and management knew me I see now new staff and management seems no one cares

I took my wife for her birthday on Tuesday to this spur and my 2 year old grandson accompanied us. The food was disgusting, the eggs, bacon and sausages were drenched in oil. Suffering from chronic cholesterol, I already risk it by having such meals but this spur breakfast is a sure bet heart attack. I complained to my waitress then to one of the managers and received an unsatisfactory explanation, response and solution. Sorry guys but that was the last of me going there, bye bye

I had 4 hungry kids and partner. Coming from long church service. We had our food in time... Although you could literally count chips on my kids meal... They all had ribs meal...My partner ordered the rib and wings... His ribs were old and flacky... We asked for another meal...manager gladly exchanged...I dont like to complain but it was just too much things... I spend R700 on meals and still went out and bought more meals for the kids.... The kids meals were just ridiculous on R70 each

It was the worst experience. The waitress was ruod she sighed when I was ordering my meal. My partner ordered a rump steak median rare. I ordered a chicken schnitzel. I was told it came with a sauce When the food arrived the stake was a sirloin very well done. When I asked where was the sauce I was told it didnt come with sauce. The food was dry and terrible.

I am very happy with the service we had a issue with our order on Mr.D and they went out of their way to fix the issue and gave us a new meal on the house. Thank you very much, stuff like this goes a long way.

Food took too long. When arrived waiter said she had too look for a table. We didnt want to wait so we sat outside. With covid protocol taking place there were still tables inside. Our food took one and a half hours too make and the pork chops were dry and rubbery. The pizza was full of sauce and did not taste nice. I will not be recommending this place to anyone and will certainly not be going back there. Waiter took too long to bring the bill and lacked experience

Visited the oulet yesterday for supper. Worst experience ever . Ordered the full chicken shnitzel , it was 2 small pieces of chicken that was so terrible. It was eating the last piece of chicken kfc had before they close for the night. It was burnt hard and the chicken inside was like rubber. I spoke to the manager who just shakes his head and does nothing. Will never eat a meal there again

Steak was hard like its been precooked and heated.All we got was can we remake it ,which obviously would take another 15 to 20 minutes while the rest of the family will have been finished with their meals.It was my worst birthday experience.Only having spinach and butternut for supper.

Very friendly waitress and we didnt know the kitchen closes at 8pm and we arrived at 7:30 but she managed to get our order correct and on time. Great service and food.

Enjoyed the meal and service.

The welcome was warm. The service was second to none.The young guy who waited on us. was on top of his game.There were seven of us.all meals were brought to us hot and neatly presented. We ordered tea of which we were given heated cups hot milk, hot tea. The service was great. I would certainly go there again.

Friendly staff with welcoming attitude (but not all). The restaurant is near the mall entrance, so easy to find. I ordered ribs and buffalo wings telephonically, they didnt put the sauce on wings as per my request but the lady helped me, they rectified that. The taste was really not what I expected.

Had a lovely relaxing evening of catching up with a friend all the while being looked after by friendly attentive staff. Very friendly waters and managers. A family vibe is always there. Newly renovated and quite cozy atmosphere. Although their wifi never works but the food is well prepared.

I was part of a large group for breakfast on a Saturday. The place was crowded yet the service was good and no delays. Can highly recommend. Food was well presented and tastfull

The staff there is very friendly, honest and absolutely reliable. My sister forgot her phone in the menu and the manager was sure to call us, even before wed left the restaurant.

Food and service was reasonably good. It was quite busy when we were there. Great kiddy caring.

Waited 40 minutes for breakfast. After complaining to the manager, eventually served the breakfast. Not once after our breakfast was served, did a single staff member including the manager have the courtesy to enquire if our meal was okay or if we needed anything. Instead we were given a wide berth and it was as if we werent even in the restaurant. Our plates were cleared 15 minutes after we had eaten. Ive been a regular patron on this branch for many years and have never received such shoddy treatment. Didnt even get an apology from the manager for the huge delay in having our breakfast served. Atrocious service to say the least and Im extremely disappointed.
