The dining experience was fair, on the Tuesday evening I was there.The waiter was quite pleasant and willing to go the extra mile even for my 3yr old daughter.The let down was with food, was disappointed with the chef.My daughter’s chicken, must have been fried in the same oil as fish because it had a fish flavour.The ribs were drenched in sauce. Even though they tasted fine, the sauce was just too much.The manager/supervisor on duty couldn’t even redress our dissatisfaction.

I enjoyed the reception from the staff. Relaxed ambience. Unfortunately cant remember the waitress name but she constantly checked on us to see if our meals and coffee was warm as it was a cold day. Overall I received good treatment at an affordable rate.

Good service. Was really busy (Saturday night). Orders were taken care of nicely for a table of 10. Food came fast considering how busy they were. There is a kiddies play area with camera feed to outside so you can keep an eye. Food was good which is a usual for Spur

What a breath of fresh air this spur is the friendliest one I have been too in years the manager i think his name was Mzudzi was so accommodating checked on us regularly and even cracked a joke with us I would definately recommend this restaurant

I always enjoy this branch, this last visit however I felt alittle rushed, ordered our breakfasts and coffee etc, half way through the meal the bill is put on my table, I was planning to sit down amd have more coffee, but all of us present left and had coffee elsewhere afterwards. Felt like we were alittle brushed off

I ordered a double thick bar one chocolate shake .l was so disappointed to get just a plain shake without bar one chocolate but with a chocolate sauce.

Had a great time, spent a few hours there. Blessing, Siphelele and Fiona were amazing. It was my first time going to this Spur, I always go to the Mexican restaurant upstairs but Ill definitely come back to Spur. You could tell by the rest of the staffs positive upbeat attitudes that its a great place.

Pearl our waiter was absolutely fantastic, the food was right on time, I had lots of fun with my son. The atmosphere was lit, managers keep on checking on customers & the service was superb. 😚

Second time here, place never seems to disappoint. Hot plate arrives hot and sizzling so food arrives hot and even when the heat went off, they refreshed the hot plate. Excellent service. The manager even gave my little a toy from the vending machine, and we were seated next to the play area. Waitress Happiness was super friendly. Music was not loud. We could hear each other talk. Excellent safe family outing. Clean and sanitized and resanititized.Meals on hot plates arrive sizzling. Awesome

Spur is Spur. Same menu and service . This restaurant is a very popular venue at Suncoast. And probably the busiest too.

One of the better Spur restaurant in KZn, top Manager in Hyno, Staff are friendly and efficient, service of a high standard.

I have one word for this branch: pathetic.As we sat down, the menus were thrown on the table, our waitress then asked what we want to drink, as i started my sentence she finished it for me. She then asked which breakfast we want, i said we just sat down, we havent decided, then we waited for our coffee. Eventually the coffee came, no sugar, waitress said she will get some. After 20min waiting i stood up to fetch my own sugar, coffee cold already. Almost finished with the coffee, i find a piece of plastic in my coffee. We decided to leave and i went to the front to pay for the coffee, when i got the bill the waitress has loaded 2 breakfasts on my bill, after another 10mins sorting out my bill, we left and had breakfast at wimpy. Daytona will never again have my support.

My family and I went for a Sunday dinner.Firstly it took ages for us to receive service from a waitron.When we eventually received our meals the mushroom sauce was tasting sour and when we asked the waitress she said its always like that 🤨Being an ex Spur waiter I know the standard taste, so....Please dont lie to your customers as it is a franchise and the standard should remain the same throughout!!!
