We had my nephews birthday party this Sunday and what a success it was. This was possible because of the superb, fantastic service we received from the staff at Spur. And what a perfect venue. The food was tasty and on time. It was spacious and convenient. Situated right at the entrance on level 3. Nice big play area which you can see all the kids from. A full 10 to all the Spur staff there. Keep up the good work! Thank you Jenel for all the help you and your team gave us. Appreciate it.

The Mustang Spur has excellent Covid-19 protocols in place. Cutlery is individually presented at the table and table is sanitised before you sit down. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Manager on duty is hands on. The capuchino is recommended as well as any of the meals as they all good. Pleasant atmosphere and value for money.

To say Im disappointed would be an understatement. This is beyond burnt. Just because its a takeaway its doesnt mean that the person is less of a customer than the one dinning in. We pay tips too. I couldnt eat this charcoal.

This is my favorite Spur. I was there with a colleague during our 30 minutes lunch break, the waiter did everything possible for us to get our food as quickly as possible. ❤

A first time experience for me !Best for a steakhouse treat but expectlong waits, very rich food that for anaverage person can cause someunpleasant bloating and feeling of slightnausea, due to this kind of foodbut otherwise for a once in a while treat,just superb food!Could have done with air conditioning andtoo long wait for the bill, on a not too busy day!

If you know spur then you know good taste in food. I love this place, the burgers here are always the best

The service was really bad. It took 45 minutes to be served with 2 simple spur burgers that were half cold. The restaurant was only 20% full at lunchtime on a Sunday, so no excuse. The Manager did not even bother to come over when requested via the waiter. One condiment bottle was open with old sauce oozing from it. See photo.

Mustang Spur is amazing. The service is great, the staff are friendly and helpful. Our go to meals are usually the ribs and burgers. The play area has climbing equipment and video games.

Good food, good service, easily accessible place for all. Kids menu and kids play area. Hot and cold beverages including alcohol. Parking as is within Musgrave Centre.

Honestly the best service when compared to the other Spurs. Ive noticed how the others cut corners when it comes to cutlery, portion sizes and condiments. Spur Musgrave Centre has been consistently good with no cutting of corners. Staff are always pleasant and so hardworking. Well recommended for those lazy days when good food calls.

Ive being coming to this Spur for years. I love it put simply. The food is always good. Service is good. I get what I ordered, no mistakes. Kid friendly.

This is my favourite branch of Spur. Well run and they always make special occasions that much more special. Food is consistent and covid protocols are good. My kids love their interactive play touch screens and the staff are always helpful. Kids club birthdays are always spent at this branch and my kids look forward to the treat every year.

Last week i got my order late, I was not give water to clean my hands before and after I eat and worse my famous Spur ribs we extremely cold. I felt like I wasted my hard earned money

A good place for a pit stop and a quick bite

Average food, average service and if youre expecting a nice chocolate brownie then you should consider going to a different place. The best thing about this Spur is that the kiddies area absorbs a lot of noise and you end up asking yourself where all the kids have gone to when in fact theyre having the time of their lives in that play area.

Spur in Musgrave Centre has a nice family atmosphere, the staff are friendly & helpful. I like it & therefore have supported it for many years. Keep it up Spur Musgrave!

The service here was amazing. Absolutely the best spur/restaurant I have been to in a while.

Slow service. Waitress brought my breakfast and left me alone for 10 minutes without cutlery or butter for my toast. One I got the cutlery I had to remind her of the butter. This was after the breakfast which consisted of 2 sunny side up eggs, 2 mini pork sausages, 2 toasts and a almost warmed up piece of the end of a tomato. Couldnt have taken too long to cook. It was rather awful. I also ordered a fruit cocktail which never arrived. I asked someone that looked like a senior waiter or manager for the bill as my.waitress disappeared all together and then waited 15 more minutes before I got the invoice.Im disappointed because there used to be a bald guy supervising there and he made the staff jump. Now its like watching paint dry there.

The hot drinks keep to its name and remain, HOT! I absolutely enjoyed my experience here. I love the fact that the family experience lives up to the motto of Spur....

We booked my sons birthday party at Mustang Spur. He enjoyed everything, especially the Spur birthday song and sparkler.I liked the lack of stress, and the fact that I could eat my meal calmly.The waitress took care of it all. She put away the cake when we arrived, seated us close to the childrens entertainment area, then helped us plan beforehand the order of the party meals, cake & party-packs, dessert(Unusual party-packs - the boys loved the cute little Spur rucksacks which the waitress filled with goodies provided by Spur. We added our own sherbets)The children (grades 5-6) were well entertained with video games, movies and arcade type machines (manga stickers or balls for a R5 coin).Even my teenagers(grades 8-9 ) were secretly fascinated ;-)Good memories, good value for money, we will use this venue again in future

Quite amazing they have a great vegan section and offer Beyond Meat burgers and nachos with vegan cheese and other options too and also have gluten free. Their location is perfect in Musgrave centre and lots of parking which they charge for and excellent choice of shops including a Woolworths and other restaurants and a movie house too and a Panarottis that serve gluten free options. Wifi is,available at the center and most of the stores except Spur. The service was quick and efficient and many seats and tables to choose from. Really cater for all tastes and kids menu meat chicken salads and snacks. Prices are in line with the type of family restaurant they are

Very Professional staff, food is good all round

Came by during loadshedding. They have a generator. However, we were told there was no coffee avail due to no electricity but other tables were enjoying cappuccinos. I was baffled. I understood the struggle without power but the service was highly disappointing. I love Spur as a brand but I will never be returning to this one.
