This is really good place with the ocean view i had an amazing time....i urge people to check out their cocktails 👌🏽 and the Pizza is to die for....i can truly say it bits some of the top brands in SA💯

I spend almost all my Saturday nights here. The ocean view, the cocktails are amazing, the food is devine, crowd and the staff is a wow and the music is great. Its a place to be to if you wanna have fun

The best place to be by Durban coast beach, the view and the menu is what attracts me to go there often.

Most friendly service from entry to exit. Loved to have a drink while looking over the sea. Great place to observe the goings on on the parade. I had a pizza which was really good. It was not very busy but the vibe was nonetheless quite cool en it felt like the spot to be. Wort a visit.

Its a cool place with a nice view of the beach, excellent customer service and a nice sound to vibe with. The cheeseburger 🍔 is yummy and worth the price with a chilled drink 🍻 to top it all. Highly recommend 🤞

I really enjoy their platters and combos, their pizza! Deboinairs really need to take notes. Cool place to take your significant other or your crew but they have great views for those ista snaps. NB: The manager guy needs to be humble and treat customers correct otherwise good vibes.

What a beautiful place to be at on a morning!! We got welcomed nicely by the hosts station and were seated at our table of preference outside.🙂We came for drinks because we had just finished having breakfast at the near hotel we are staying at. My fiance enjoyed his sol beer and I my tvr cocktail. I then ordered frieds because we felt like nibbling on something nice, hot, and fresh. Sadly we receive cold and dry frieds. They were so unappetizing for such a beautiful place, I really had expected more. I had to pour a whole lot of different sources to vibe them up 😒The kitchen need to pull their socks up and stop serving customers such low standards of frieds, I promise you I make better ones at home then this. Thank you to our waiter for the wonderful service.

If you want to go out and party with your friends its a place to be with a beautiful view and shops nearby

I was at Joe Cools last night, had food but didnt finish, I asked to waiter to pack it for me. And so he did, I was under the impression that my food is still there, woke up the next morning and only to find he packed only fries, when my plate was still full of meat. I am sad, I tried to phone but the number is saying it doesnt exist. 😭😭😭😭☹️☹️☹️☹️I payed so much only for fries.. Thats not fair guys

Great location. Sipping on your cocktail while watching the beach waves. Drinks are at a reasonable price. The service is not so great. Later on in the day theres loud music which makes it hard to engage with the people you are with, but great place for turn up.

Was there 12/10/19 service was so bad waited more then 45 minutes to get our drinks, 20minutes more for meals. We had to go look for our waiter to remind her we still waiting. She brings meals and dont give us cutlery when we asked she said they finished.Paying was also an issue she hose 15minutes comes and tells us she Cant find speed point.

Our waiter Sphe didnt even bother checking in on us or our satisfaction in the place,the people that arrived there way after us got their food way before us,all in all customer service really lacked and maybe it was because they know that the 10% will automatically be deducted from out bill so they dont need to provide proper customer service.i hated the place

Excellent service. Chilled vibe on a mid Sunday afternoon. Never disappointed with the food and Cocktails. Newly enclosed outer deck allowing you to sit outside, overlooking the promenade and Durbans beautiful beach.

This place is beyond trash. Service? What service?! Even after some minor upgrades to their filthy property. it does not make up for the utter lack of interest to customers. If I could give this place a minus stars rating I would. It used to be a trendy cool place to go to. But I have no more words. crashed all the way down the hill. And hit every tree on its way down. Staff are totally dis interested and you are asked to seek out a waiter when you go to the bar for help. California Dreaming a bit further down is a muuuuuuch better option

Nice area, but if I was the owner I would get rid of all the staff and management. Very very bad disgusting service. The waiters stand and chat in groups. I had to go straight to the bar to place my order only to be told I have to order with the waiter. I lost appetite for my food ended up ordering drinks and the waiter asked me to pay first. All the drinks were not rang up.

Great club, not so much star studded DJ line up unfortunately. Parking can be close and plenty restaurants nearby, which is good if you do not prefer in house.

Completely incompetent and rude wait staff. After waiting 45 minutes for just our drinks to come, the glass of one of them were broken and the majority of the rest were spilled all over the table. You have to constantly check up on your order and thoroughly explain to the wait staff, which becomes quite annoying.

Vibe is great, drinks are reasonable at a good price. Food is cheap compared to Joburg places, money for value, ribs were good and a good quantity to share. Try the Joe cools jar drink.

This is a nice place to get some drinks such as alcohol and some food, also it got a nice view of the ocean and the place is clean, safe and enjoyable when ever you wana take your self out for a drink you can count on them. They provide extra source for self serving in case you need more for your food. People around this place are moving up and down as most tourist from other provinces come here to see the ocean and get some water on 2 liter bottles. So if you are that kind of person who likes nigh out, you can use this place for your night chill withyour friends.

View is good as you can see the whole of the durban beach front and ocean. The service is not very good. They are rather slow. The maintenance of the restaurant is poor.

The waitress suggested drinks we tried them, they were not tasty. Ordered some food, asked for a doggy bag to take home. When we got home, opened our bag for a little late snack...our food was missing. We were only given scraps. Please change your behaviour...

Good service and tasty cocktails yet fishbowls are the same size and double the price of jam jars. Meat and other dishes wayyy over priced. Stick to regular cocktails and thats it!

Personally I was a fan of Joe cools daytime atmosphere, with good food and a fun vibe.....However upon a recent visit, I realized its pretty much gone down the drain. Really hope it comes back to its former glory.

Worst eating experience in durbs.We ordered the wing platter and it was uneatable.The taste and the consistency of the chicken was awful.The service is slow.I was explaining it to the manager on duty and he didnt say anything to it.I payed and threw the food away as I wouldnt even give it to a car guard.DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

The saddest place to get pizza. Margherita pizza with BBQ sauce!!!. Thick slices of tomatoes it was revolting. Managers on duty look totally overwhelmed and confused...Would not recommend..clearly not the place it used to be back in he day. Its run down.

I always go to this place with my friends experiencing poor service but today it was the worst . I have never been in a place where u have to beg for service even when u’ve told the manager about your situation of not being served then a manager will tell u to leave if u’re not happy without solving your problem he showed that he doesn’t care about customers that was manager “Bradley” who kicked us out like dogs when we tried to explain to him that we’ve been waiting for more that 4 hrs to be served n he new this as well coz we went to him to ask for drinks at least while waiting for someone to serve us, we only got those drinks n nobody ever came to us. Me and my pregnant friend set there for 4 hours starving n thirsty waiting for someone to serve us but no one came n we saw all the people who came after us being served n when we asked about this to this manager he told us about him being short staffed n if we had a problem with that we can leave. I was so shocked by his behavior. As much as I loved this place but I am never going back there again n I will definitely tell my friends and everyone that I now that this is the worse place to go to

If you fancy eating food from a commercially bought frozen food section, then this is your place. My fish and chips was processed hake from a popular frozen foods supplier. Fries also from a frozen packet. Disgusting.
