Its the perfect Spur to visit should you want to catch up with old friends...where good food and company is shared in the most friendliest environment.This is my favourite Spur Branch in Durban...sort of isolated in a perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle of busy malls.

Good food as always expected from all Spur branches nation wide. Their menu flexibility caters for all sorts of eaters, such as kids, adults and even vegans! Staff is friendly and the area is breathtaking. But on a busy day, service can be slow. Other than that top tier quality

This branch is unique with its location on a school / college premises. Paid parking to get in, so your vehicle is secure.The team stick to reservations and leave a table notice of the next reservation.The play area is much larger and has the equipment to meet its size, with jungle gyms etc. There are tables in the play area for parents who want to be closer, as well as indoor tables with windows to into the play area.Service on the weekends are a bit slower as it gets full quickly but the food is great and the environment feels safe.

I didnt hate this place I loved it more than anything is cool and according to my other place that I have been with my friends and family Thanksgiving

Pleasant but not working at full capacity due to covid regulations. Draught beers were fresh and nice and cold. Nice view over the hockey fields.

As usual when visiting our kids staying in Durban we had a family breakfast at Apache River. As always a winner. Friendly staff and excellent management.

My grandson loved the kiddies play area. Service was great ..until the assist manager/ not sure of the ladys job title cleared our table , my grandson was in the play area and when we came back.Table cleaned.Grandson had chips on his plate ...milk shake in his glass..as toddler do.Perhaps just a off day for the lady.Overall I will suggest take your kiddies there.

As far as Spurs go, this is my first choice. A lovely play area for the tots where you can sit inside the play area itself.They also do the most amazing coffee milkshakes. They also have a super breakfast special.

I enjoy their Customer Service but what bothering why we paying at the gate what for. We support bussiness them but no appreciated enough.

Really nice. Safe parking in Varsity College grounds. Only r8 to enter and park. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Will definetly visit again.... We enjoy cycling from there and having dinner after a great cycle back to dbn or to Umhlanga

Visited on a day that was extremely busy with a queue outside. Had a small hiccup with our order (probably because of the amount of people and orders) but was handled very well and efficiently by the floor manager and waitress. Overall a good experience.

It was my first time at Apache River Spur Steak Ranch today, and it was a calm peaceful and an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and their hospitality was beautiful. Was a really nice Spur and the bathrooms were really much cleaner than any of the other spurs Ive been to. There was good and fast service and nice food.

Its a great spur, I have been there on week day when it was quieter but was shocked when I went there yesterday (Sunday 09/05/2021)There was a queue outside and I could accept this as it was mothers day. When we did go inside all the tables were occupied. There was no Covid protocols being followed with regards to social distancing. Sure they did the temp check and sanitize at entrance but you guys dropped the ball with so many customers in at once. I know you guys need the business but do not risk it especially at this potential 3rd wave.I do give you cudos for the branch being good and we love the play area. Im sorry I could not stay there, so after were placed at our table we left. It was too busy. We went to the another Spur at overport who were following the covid social distancing with every other table left freeThis is not a negative review but what I experienced and was not happy with.

Excellent Spur. Food excellent (and Im fussy). We thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was cooked to a turn, super tasty! Service good, warm and friendly throughout. The play area is amazing and far exceeds other branches weve visited. Parking on a secure lot, which serves for great peace of mind. Despite us living a little out of the way, wed certainly make the trip to return here than other places closer to home.

Held my daughters 5th birthday there. Social distancing was on point, the play area is vastly impressive and the staff were amazing! Highly recommended!

Went for breakfast with the wife and son early last sunday and have to say this is a very well run establishment. Nice to enjoy a peaceful meal in a good setting. The staff are great and very concious regarding the covid rules. Spoke to Chris, one of the owners/managers and he was very friendly. The staff made sure each customer was taken care of and feeling at home. Will definately eat there again.

Great, intimate place to dine. I was at the College, when this Spur first opened and im glad to note, that it has gone from strength to STRENGTH. This is the only Spur, where wait time is minimal and the customer,is always a priority.
