If there was an option for zero stars, thats what this branch, actually this bank deserves because the menlyn branch is no better.Clearly the best option is to change banks because they dont even care about the countless bad reviews they have.

I was just at your branch now my name Prince Sebapu debit card ends with 7727(so you ca identify me) and was helped by a lady by the name of Mmabatho who I feel was really unfriendly and has no will at all to listen or understand my query. I felt belitttled a bit as client as i was not given a chance to even say what is my frastration. Ok yesterday I came to make a a replacement card that is linked to my cheque but the lady who I did not write her name did not link it correctly, today I cane to explain what happened to Mmabatho then here she is giving no chance to speak. My day yesterday was ruined by inability to transact as I had urgent things to buy but today when I seek help I receive such treatment. I am disappointed in your consultant.

This morning was the third time that I have had to go inside to deposit money because the ATMs are either full and unable to accept a deposit or not working at all. There is then a huge fee deducted from my account because I am forced to then make use of a teller. I cannot afford R80 everytime they are not working. Its a lot of money at this point in time for anyone.

The service is so slow. Ive been waiting for over an hour. After calling multiple times and being told they cant help me unless I do a walk in. There are not enough tellers, this branch is severely understaffed. Its really annoying.

Useless branch. Please close it down. It doesnt even have a tel no!!! Not even their call centre can get hold of them. Ive been trying to get follow up assistance from them with no luck. They are not even responding to my emails.(Replying directly to the person who send me insufficient information) I guess I am going to have to spend ANOTHER 3 hours in the branch to try to get assistance. But seeing that they didnt get it right the first time, I am not holding my breath!!

If you really have to go there, please clear your calendar for the day, bring a camp chair, an umbrella and a cooler box. I went to home affairs a week before visiting this branch and can confirm that the waiting times at this Standard bank are the same if not longer. Good luck.

With Covid-19 regulations, clients are asked to que outside the building, facing whatever the weather is. Been queuing for 25 minutes, no movement whatsoever.

As a long time client thecustomer service at the branch is really really bad 👎...stood in que outside the bank more than one hour and sat inside in a que again for 40min to be assisted only to collect a new card...pathetic service!

Been in queue at Kolonnade Mall from 12.50 on Mon 1st June. Eventually got inside bank at 14.15 and still waiting to be helped at 14.50. It might still take some time. There are so few staff inside the bank helping customers, its inacceptable and a disgrace.

Terrible communication. Terrible service. I have no choice but to come to this branch because my company requires me to have a Standard Bank account. If I had a choice I would not make use of SB service.

Poooor pooor poor service. One cannot deposit cash after hours.Unfortunately, I use the ATM to make deposits and every time, no matter when should I turn around because Kolonade branch ATM or disabled and the other one can not take any deposits or both can not take any deposits . No man is it too much to look after hours services to you. Can not you for closing time makes your ATM empty for deposits not. I spend all my money on fuel just to do my deposits. Please now I think everyone gets used that ATM as verstreerd like me.
